If We Controlled Your Remote… 1/21/11

TGIF! There’s something magical about Fridays isn’t there? I’m so excited for the weekend to be here, and hopefully I’ll get a day to sleep in… high hopes. 🙂 Well, besides the happy thought of sleep, tonight is bringing us some great new television. Let’s see what we think you should be watching. By the way, from all of us here on the Remote posts, we want to thank Jason (@theTVaholic) for guest posting this week again. We enjoyed having you! Please feel free to stop back by anytime!

Tonight is the season premiere of Kitchen Nightmares, and I’m so excited. Earlier this week, I got a chance to interview Gordon Ramsay, so keep your eyes on the site in the next couple days to read that interview. Ramsay is excited for this season of Kitchen Nightmares, and he really enjoyed helping all the businesses. I love this show, especially watching people’s reactions to the truth about their food.

On tonight’s season premiere, Chef Ramsay visits the Spanish Pavillion in Harrison, N.J. He finds the family-owned eatery has bickering owners, undercooked food, and an outdated atmosphere.

Tune into FOX at 8/7c to watch Chef Ramsay work his magic. Learn where to find episodes online of Kitchen Nightmares @ Clicker.

If We Controlled Your Remote… 1/14/11

TGIF!!! 😀 I am so happy the weekend is here, aren’t you? We’re half way through January, and I can hardly believe it. It’s been a decent start to the second half of the TV season so far, and tonight is no exception. Let’s take a look at what we all think you should be watching.

I can’t help myself, but I really enjoy CSI: NY. As far as the franchise goes, I find it to be the least corny, and I enjoy the team the most. This season has been really solid, especially with Sela Ward joining the cast.

On tonight’s episode, a Spanish club promoter is killed, and Mac battles with the head of Barcelona’s crime lab to solve the case.

Tune in tonight at 9/8c on CBS to see how Mac fares against Spain. Learn where to find episodes online of CSI: NY @ Clicker.

If We Controlled Your Remote… 1/7/11

It’s hard to believe it’s Friday the 7th already. Seems like just yesterday, it was Christmas. Now? My baby is about to turn 13! I just turned 34, and I didn’t feel old. But realizing my kid is going to be a TEENAGER on Sunday?! THAT makes me feel old! lol So yeah, I’m praying the clock slows down enough to realllllllly drag out the next few days, but unfortunately, I don’t think that’s going to happen. At least I’ve got new TV to console me! 😉 We want to thank Jim for guest posting with us this week. He’s been fun to have, hasn’t he? Thanks, Jim! 🙂

There isn’t a whole lot to choose from tonight, but I’m happy, because there is a new episode of CSI: NY. Tonight, we get a special treat, too, because David James Elliott (JAG, Scoundrels) guest stars as FBI Agent Russ Josephson, Jo’s ex-husband.

On tonight’s episode, when a man in a full clown costume shoots a bakery owner, the CSIs investigate and discover a decision from Flack’s past that may put him in jeopardy.

Don’t miss this new episode tonight on CBS at 9/8c. Learn where to find episodes online of CSI: NY @ Clicker.

TV News – 11/21/10

I started writing this on Friday night but the storm knocked out my internet. I’m okay with that even though it meant not getting to post because we got a bunch of beautiful snow. We don’t get snow here very much so it’s really nice. So without further adieu here’s the news.

CBS has pulled the plug on Medium as of January 21st. The show follows Allison Dubois (Patricia Arquette) as she deals with her supernatural dreams and solves crimes. There aren’t as many lovers of the show as there used to be and the ratings just aren’t there. Farewell Medium I’m sure Arquette will land on her feet.Source

More after the jump. Continue reading
