Last week, the study group on Community found themselves trapped! When Abed became convinced that Dean Pelton was an imposter, he was required to see a therapist (guest star John Hodgman). Turned out that the therapist wasn’t real; he was just someone Chang hired in order to keep the cover up about Dean Pelton quiet. The group held together and the therapist ran off, leaving Chang still in charge. The group knows what they must do next: save Dean Pelton!

Tonight, there are three new episodes of Community!

At 8/7c, on “Digital Estate Planning,” Gilbert Lawson (guest star Giancarlo Esposito), the former right hand man to Pierce’s father, requests a meeting with Pierce at Hawthorne Enterprises. Also, the study group puts their plan into action by pitching in to help save Dean Pelton. Then at 9/8c, on “The First Chang Dynasty,” the group devises a plan to infiltrate Greendale’s Chang-controlled college campus while Troy turns to the Air Conditioning Repair Annex for some assistance. Finally, at 9:30/8:30c, on “Introduction to Finality,” Shirley and Piece’s disagreement over their sandwich shop leads Jeff to butting heads with Alan (Rob Corddry), his former colleague, in Greendale Summer Fun Court. Meanwhile, Vice Dean Laybourne (guest star John Goodman) makes his final attempt to win over Troy and lure him into studying at the Air Conditioning Repair Annex.

Last week on Community, the study group turned things up Law & Order-style when their science experiment for their final exam was destroyed. Annie and Jeff were the ADAs, and Troy and Abed were the detectives. Shirley was the lieutenant, and Britta tried to fill the role of the psychiatrist, but as fans know, Britta is most definitely NOT an expert in the ways of the mind. Also, beloved classmate Star-Burns also known as Alex, was killed when his car blew up with a whole lot of meth in it—a real tragedy.

On tonight’s episode, “Course Listing Unavailable,” after Star-Burns’ unexpected death, Britta uses her skills, or lack there of, from psychology class in order to counsel the study group. Meanwhile, Chang tries to seize more control over campus security.

Last week on Community, we left Britta pining for an ex-boyfriend of hers who works for a carnival. She asked Annie for some help with self control and to prevent her from calling or texting her ex. Unfortunately for Annie, she didn’t know what she was agreeing to, and Britta’s crazy ran all over. Jeff became obsessed with meeting Britta’s ex in order to find out what special power he possesses that enables him to have such a hold over women. Dean Layborne (guest star John Goodman) enlisted Dean Pelton in order to help him in his quest to get Troy to join the Air Conditioning Repair Annex and was yet again unsuccessful.

On tonight’s episode, “Virtual Systems Analysis,” when the biology final exam is postponed, Jeff encourages everyone to join him for a three hour lunch, but Annie convinces Abed to let her spend some time with him in the dreamatorium instead. What starts as an innocent simulation of “Inspector Spacetime” becomes a more serious examination of the study group members, and Annie learns a little bit about what makes Abed tick.

Interview with Nick Eversman from Missing

Last week, I got to speak one on one with Nick Eversman, who plays Michael Winstone on ABC’s freshman drama, Missing. He took time out of his day to talk with me about the show, his castmates, and what else he has going on. Check it out!

Jenny: What was the process you went through to get this role?

Nick: You know, it’s pretty crazy. I did audition. What had happened was I went in for it in February. I had long hair, and I went in and read, and they basically said, “You did well, but you’re not exactly what we’re looking for.” I kind of looked more like a California surfer dude at the time. Two months later – it was early, early May – I got a phone call saying that I had an audition for Missing. I said, “Wait a second, isn’t this the one I went in on?” and they said, “Yeah, but they’re having a hard time casting the son, so go in. It’s gonna be a quick turnaround.”

Last week on Community, the pillow and blanket war continued to wage with Abed and his followers versus Troy and his followers. The campus was consumed by the battle, and even Jeff’s attempts at mediation proved to be futile. Annie took care of the injured, while Britta photographed the casualties and the event for posterity. In the end, peace reigned over Greendale, and Troy and Abed were once again friends.

Tonight, on “Origins of Vampire Mythology,” Britta asks her friends for some help in order to keep her away from visiting an ex. Dean Laybourne (guest star John Goodman) enlists Dean Pelton in his quest to have Troy join the Air Conditioning Repair Annex.
