Well, we’re all still sick. Fun stuff. I feel like, well, poo, so let’s just get to it, shall we? Megan’s power went out Tuesday night when a storm knocked out some wires, so here’s what Kyle & I are recommending.

I picked Motive last week, and it turned out to be a great episode. The case was interesting—a professor/wannabe writer killed an author who was responsible for turning down his submitted manuscript. He used chemistry to make a poison that he then inserted into the victim’s perfume when he broke into her house. Without meaning to, he set up the husband when it turned out not only the author was killed, but her lover got sick from exposure as well—dying a slower, yet painful death. Then the killer tried to set up a student of his who was a huge fan of the author’s, but the police were able to determine who really killed her—and justice was honestly served when it turned out he’d exposed himself to the poison and was dying. Meanwhile, Angie was struggling with the fact that she was subpoenaed to testify against Cross, and Vega knew just what she needed and set it up so her son surprised her with a visit.
Tonight is the season finale, and I’m anxious to see what’s going to happen with the trial. There’s no show without Angie Flynn, so she can’t get fired, but how does she make it out of and still keep her detective position? Will Cross be back next season? So many questions!
On tonight’s episode, “For You I Die,” with the League of Nations trial nearing, a major case from Detective Flynn and Sergeant Cross’s past resurfaces, and the fallout causes anguish for both. Meanwhile, the latest case involving the murder of a prosecutor becomes personal for Cross, and Angie knows they must come clean about their past. Kenny Johnson (who’s been on what seems like everything… lol) guest stars.
To see how the trial goes for Det. Flynn & Sgt. Cross tonight on ABC at 10/9c.
