As I write this up Tuesday morning, it’s nice and rainy outside. I love that kind of day, although it does mean I may be taking a nap later, because it really is perfect “nap weather.” LOL Regardless, I’ll make time to catch up on last night’s TV I didn’t see yet…and definitely before tonight, because it’s full of its own new episodes. Read on to see our recommendations. 🙂
Jenny’s Choice
Person of Interest is getting more and more intense regarding Carter and HR. I TOTALLY called the fact that her young partner was HR, but last week shocked even me. Turns out, Cartner knew about him. Not only that, but she’s been surveilling other HR members, taking photos and gathering intel and evidence. Then, at the end, her partner took her out for a drink, supposedly to talk through a problem he was having with a fellow officer—and that fellow officer turned out to be Carter herself. She had anticipated it and had his gun, setting him up by shooting the bar owner, who was in on it. Meanwhile, the POI for the week turned out to be a little girl, and she was freakin’ awesome. She got the drop on Shaw, who started off (okay, and ended…) very awkward with the little girl. By the end of the episode, Shaw actually hugged the girl, clearly feeling some affection for the girl. It was really great.
On tonight’s episode, “Mors Praematura,” freed from her psych ward confinement, Root receives a directive from The Machine that requires Shaw’s assistance – by any means necessary – and takes extreme measures to gain her compliance. Also, Reese and Finch look for clues as to why a mild-mannered estate investigator’s number has come up. Kirk Acevedo (Fringe) guest stars.
Find out if Shaw can stay safe from the crazy Root tonight on CBS at 10/9c.
I’ll also be watching/DVRing NCIS, NCIS: LA, The Goldbergs, Trophy Wife, & Chopped.
