What a season it has been on NCIS: Los Angeles overall, and I’m glad we’ve finally got some closure on the mole story. Last episode Callen covered for his father when he found out his father had been following his sister and kidnapped the man she was seeing. He thought the guy was up to no good, but it turned out he was an informant for the police. It was nice to see Callen with his sister because it lets us see a different side of him. Also on last episode, Kensi was given the all-clear to return to regular duty, and she was very happy about that. It’s going to be great to have Deeks and Kensi back together again, which always leads to my favorite scenes because of their witty banter.

On tonight’s episode, “Queen Pin,” Sam assumes a former alias in a risky undercover operation to take down an elusive drug lord. Also, Hetty interrupts Callen and Anna’s romantic night to assign them a prisoner escort mission.

Find out what special assignment Hetty sends these lovebirds on tonight on CBS at 8/7c.

I’ll also be watching Chicago Justice, Time After Time, Spring Baking Championship, Guy’s Grocery Games, and American Crime.

SO MUCH happened on the previous episode of NCIS: LA. Way too much to talk about here. So check out my stream-of-consciousness thoughts that are in no particular order: 1) Hetty is the one who set up the team members to be arrested, in order to keep them locked up and safe from the true bad guys (and in Sam’s case, at least, he wasn’t REALLY locked up, as the agent in charge did it as a favor to Hetty). 2) It turned out to be a good thing, since Kensi, who wasn’t arrested and DIDN’T follow Hetty’s instructions to stay there at Ops and be safe, was kidnapped by the bad guys! 3) The CIA is indeed behind the whole mole thing – Sabatino and Sharov, the CIA operative the team rescued from the Russian prison, included. 4) Sullivan (Kensi’s Marine friend from rehab) is actually CIA, and he has a personal grudge against the team and Kensi in particular, as she accidentally shot his leg off in Afghanistan when she thought he was Taliban. 5) Ferris is the one who kidnapped Kensi, and he’s looking for payback. An eye for an eye…or more specifically, a leg for a leg! 6) Hetty blew up the building she was in, which killed Sharov and nearly killed Carl Brown and Sabatino, but Carl Brown got a shot off and hit LAPD Detective Whiting, the woman gunning for Deeks who was actually helping the team look for Hetty and Kensi at the end of the episode. Brown was then promptly killed as the team returned fire. (Good riddance!)

So a lot of questions going into tonight’s episode! 1) Obviously they won’t cut off Kensi’s leg, right? 2) Did Sabatino survive? He was alive when they checked him at the blast site, but… 3) What about Granger? The last we heard, he was alive after being stabbed in prison. Miguel Ferrer passed away exactly a month ago, on January 29, so if they originally had Granger surviving the stabbing, did they have to refilm some of this episode so the character doesn’t survive, or does he survive, only to be written out some other way? Either way, it’s a sad thing! 4) Given the episode description for tonight and the fact that Elizabeth Bogush is guest starring as Joelle Taylor, does that mean Callen’s ex-girlfriend is actually a bad guy?! Gah!

On tonight’s episode, “Payback,” emotions run high for the team as one agent is held in an unknown location and tortured by the mole, while another discovers he was betrayed by someone he least expected.

See how the team finds Kensi and who betrayed whom tonight on CBS at 9/8c.

Before I write up my pick for tonight, which is NCIS: LA, I want to take a moment to mention the death of Miguel Ferrer, who played Assistant Director Owen Granger. He passed away last week, I believe due to cancer. He will certainly be missed, both the man and the character. Besides this show, he has starred and guest starred on many shows and movies. I’ll always remember him fondly for both this and Crossing Jordan, where he played Dr. Garrett Macy.

Gah! NCIS: LA is killing me with the break between the episodes of this mole arc! On the previous episode two weeks ago, it seemed like the mole stepped up his or her game and sicced all available alphabet agencies on the members of the NCIS team. A dead body and drugs were found in Sam’s car by DEA. ATF found explosives in Callen’s house. Deeks was once again being held by his own LAPD and Internal Affairs. And Granger was found hovering over Heather Wilson’s severely beaten body and was arrested. Since Hetty was dealing with Under Secretary of Defense Duggan, that left Kensi on her own, and she’s not even back to work yet! Of course, everyone protested their innocence, claiming the mole was setting them all up. Some of them seemed to be making some headway, but then things really went sour. Just as Hetty had convinced Duggan that helping her find and take down the mole would be better for his career than taking her down, especially since she was innocent, he was shot and killed by an unknown sniper when he went out to stall the FBI SWAT team so Hetty and Kensi (who’d kidnapped Heather Wilson from the hospital in order to get info from her) could escape. Fortunately, before they left via the hatch in the floor, Heather mentioned the CIA. Another horrible thing for the team? Granger was stabbed in jail!

So what does all this mean for the team?? Will Granger survive? If he does, I’m not sure how it’ll work, given his portrayer’s death. I can’t wait to find out, but be prepared… After tonight’s episode, the next (and final episode in the three-ep mole arc) won’t air until February 19th!

On tonight’s episode, “Under Siege,” Hetty goes rogue, leaving the NCIS team completely in the dark, and the mole kidnaps one of the agents.

Find out who gets kidnapped tonight on CBS at 8/7c.

I’ll also be watching/DVRing Guy’s Grocery Games, To Tell the Truth, & Worst Cooks in America.

Things are FINALLY coming to a head in the mole investigation on NCIS: LA. But first… On last week’s “Kulinda,” Sam was sent undercover at a private security firm after it was suspected that they had links to a gang and, even worse, a terrorist group. Thankfully, the guys all turned out to be good guys, and it was one of the younger kids in the neighborhood – who did have ties to the gang but had gotten out – and he was forced into doing what the bad guys wanted. And Sam was able to talk to head (boss) of the security firm out of killing the really bad guy when he tracked him down. AND we learned that Callen and Anna were taking their relationship very slow because she’d asked for some time to get accustomed to her job and being here full-time in the US. But she apparently decided she’d had enough of slow, because she brought him over a carb-filled breakfast and they definitely started moving in the right direction! And poor Kensi is so ready to get back to work, but Nate, who was back at the end of last week’s episode, said he would be the one to sign off on her getting back to work, and in his opinion, she wasn’t ready. Gah. Really frustrating! I mean, yeah, I think she’s covering up how she’s really feeling (not physically, but emotionally and mentally), and she needs to work through that, but…damn. At least let her back in the office to help from Ops or something!

Now we come to this week… The mole investigation has been going on way too long in my opinion, but tonight starts a three-episode arc to end that story line finally. It will get worse before it gets better, according to actors and the powers-that-be from the show, and when we do finally learn who the mole is (or who the MOLES ARE?), we’ll be shocked and won’t have seen it coming. I’m scared, people. Really scared! Eek!

On tonight’s episode, “Hot Water,” the mole has once again compromised the NCIS team as planted evidence results in the arrests of Callen, Sam, Granger, and Deeks, on the day Under Secretary Duggan (Jackson Hurst) returns for Hetty’s resignation.

Find out what gets members of the team arrested tonight on CBS at 8/7c.

I’ll also be watching/DVRing Guy’s Grocery Games, The Librarians, To Tell the Truth, & Worst Cooks in America.

When we left our team on NCIS: LA, they were celebrating Christmas. Kensi was well on her way to being back on the job, and she visited work to say hello and give them some Christmas cookies she’d made. Of course, Anna was there, and Kensi was a little jealous of her interaction with the team, and she and Anna got into a fight. Thankfully (or not? LOL), the fight was all in Kensi’s head. As for the case, a Navy Lieutenant Commander was kidnapped, but the team figured out that she was taken because the bad guys were really going after her journalist boyfriend, trying to get him to stop digging into the story he was working on. In the end, they rescued the woman, kept the journalist safe, and he got to continue with his story, which was going to take a lot of big names down. I also loved that Callen invited Anna to Christmas dinner with his dad. That’s a big change for the guy who has never had a real family before! And finally, I loved Eric and Nell (I always do!) as they prepared for a Dickens Fair – in costume, accents, and everything!

Time is ticking on the team finding the mole. I think they have to find him, right? I haven’t heard anything about Hetty/Linda Hunt leaving, so… But yeah, if they’re going to find him, they need to do it quick! And when will Kensi be back?? Argh. So frustrating. I miss the Densi scenes! I know Daniela Ruah needed time off after having her baby. But I hope that time off ends SOOON! LOL

On tonight’s episode, “Kulinda,” after a Navy reservist is killed while protecting a city councilman, Sam is sent undercover in a private security firm with links to several criminal organizations. Also, Callen and Anna discuss the next steps in their relationship. Peter Cambor guest stars as Nate Getz.

To see Sam go undercover, tune in to CBS at 8/7c.

I’ll also be watching/DVRing Guy’s Grocery Games, The Librarians, To Tell the Truth, & Worst Cooks in America.
