Comic-Con is just about two weeks away, and I’m getting really excited. However, I’m also stressing out about what I’m going to be able to see! They seem to have really spread out the TV panels this year, so it’s going to be tough to do my usual pick a room and stick with it. Speaking of lots of to see, Tuesdays are one of the more packed nights of TV this summer. Read on to find out what we recommend you check out tonight.
Kyle’s Choice
The thing I like about The Glee Project is that it gives us a glimpse into the Glee casting process—as insane as it may be. This season, the show really hasn’t changed that much—I think even the episode names are the same as last year. However, they seem to have really tried to get a real diverse group of contestants this time, including a girl in a wheelchair, a blind guy, and a transgender male. Last week, it was all about Vulnerability, and the contestants needed to show theirs while performing “Everybody Hurts.” As usual, this led to lots of tears among the contestants. It was Mario, Charlie, and Lily who had to do last chance performances, and once again, my lack of musical taste was confirmed—I thought Charlie’s rendition of “Fix You” sounded terrible (it was very different from the original), but Ryan Murphy loved it. However, in the end, no one was sent home.
In tonight’s episode, “Sexuality,” the contestants must prove their sultry worth in a lusty rendering of the songs “Moves Like Jagger” and “Milkshake.” Naya Rivera is the guest mentor.
Check it out tonight on Oxygen at 10/9c. Learn where to find episodes online of The Glee Project @ Clicker.
Tonight, I’ll also be watching/recording Hell’s Kitchen, MasterChef, Jane by Design, Chopped, Rizzoli & Isles, Franklin & Bash, and Workaholics.
