If We Controlled Your Remote… 12/4/12

It’s been a long couple of days around my house, but as with any dark stretch, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Christmas Eve is only 20 days away, and that will be a magical event, no matter how you look at it. Let’s see what’s on television tonight to help us relax.

Megan’s Choice

There is one Christmas special that I simply MUST watch year after year because it’s such an epic level of nostalgia, and that show is Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. It doesn’t matter how many times I’ve watched it—I still adore it each and every time. The Abominable Snowman, the way the original soundtrack is slightly crackly and it never seems to get better, and the way Rudolph falls in love. Regardless of why you love this classic, you can’t deny that it makes you feel a little happy every year.

In this special, the reindeer with the incandescent nose guides Santa’s sleigh through the storm.

To watch the ultimate story of triumphing over one’s differences, tune into CBS at 8/7c.

I’ll also be watching The Voice, Hart of Dixie, Emily Owens M.D., The Mindy Project, Go On, New Girl, and Ben and Kate.
