Jenny’s Choice #1
I’ve been enjoying the marriage troubles for Booth and Brennan on Bones the last few weeks — not that I love when they have problems, but it’s been nice seeing Brennan in touch with her emotions, and honestly, Booth deserved the tongue lashing she gave him… Not for the gambling but for the lying. He has a lot to make up to her; since she doesn’t trust easily in the first place, he’s going to have to work hard to earn her trust back. I have faith that he will. Stephen Nathan & crew have been through too much with the couple to break them up for good.
Then we turn to the other couples in the show… I love Hodgins and Angela and getting a ton of money for his invention. I don’t like the fact that they’re looking at moving to Paris. I don’t *think* they’re leaving the show — at least, not long-term — but…I guess it makes sense, as Angela’s wanted a change for a while. I actually dreamed a few days ago about them being “gone†for a couple of weeks, which was really a couple of months in their life, but then they both realized they missed the team, the work, and feeling good about finding the bad guys and they came back to the Jeffersonian. We’ll see. Also, how cute was Aubrey trying to feel out (as in flirt and see if she was interested. LOL) Jessica. She didn’t seem too interested, though, unfortunately for him!
On tonight’s episode, “The Life in the Light,†when the remains of an ex-con and biker gang member-turned-yoga instructor is found in the aftermath of a forest fire, the team must navigate both worlds from the victim’s past to find the killer. Meanwhile, Booth continues working hard to beat his gambling addiction and regain Brennan’s trust, and Angela and Hodgins make a big decision that will impact their future at the Jeffersonian.
