If We Controlled Your Remote… 11/5/12

Tonight is a very busy night of TV, especially since last week’s episodes on CBS were pre-empted because of Sandy, so they are airing tonight instead. And FOX is back after the baseball hiatus, which just leads to a pretty fun night for relaxing in front of the television, curling up under a blanket, and just enjoying all the great new episodes. Check out what we think you should be watching tonight—and we’re pretty darn smart, so take our advice, wouldja? 😉

Jenny’s Choice #1

I was lucky enough to see tonight’s episode of Bones. It’s been a month since the last new episode because of the break for baseball. I’m so thrilled it’s back. In the last new ep, Sweets and Daisy went from moving in together to breaking up completely. Even though it was his choice, it clearly threw Sweets for a loop. Meanwhile, Booth and Bones were still adjusting to being a family with Christine after Bones took off with her at the end of last season. They’ve gotten past most of it, but there are bound to be lingering issues. They are working it out, though, and we’re getting great new episodes with the normal murders and cases that we love.

Hart Hanson & Stephen Nathan recently spoke to the press about the rest of the season. You can check out all the fun Q&A here: Hart Hanson & Stephen Nathan Interview.

On tonight’s episode, “The Method in the Madness,” the Jeffersonian team investigates the death of a woman whose body was found mutilated and discarded in a city garbage can. Meanwhile, Booth invites Sweets to stay with Brennan and him while Sweets searches for a new apartment. Joel David Moore, Leif Gantvoort, Galadriel Stineman, James Patrick Stuart (Supernatural, 90210, CSI), Gualtiero Negrini, Brandon Fobbs, Abraham Benrubi (ER, Men in Trees), & Kathryn Wahl guest star.

Welcome back the Jeffersonian team tonight on FOX at 8/7c. Learn where to find episodes online of Bones @ Clicker.

If We Controlled Your Remote… 10/1/12

First of all, let’s all take a moment and wish Kyle a very happy belated birthday—he celebrated an “undisclosed” number yesterday and deserves some recognition. Now let’s talk about how insane this new TV season is already shaping up to be, shall we? My DVR is starting to yawn and feel overwhelmed, and we’re just getting started! Tonight, we’re going to be hitting it hard again, so let’s see what we think you should be watching—and as always…we’re right! 😉

Megan’s Choice

Bones has always been one of my favorite shows. Every season, I faithfully tune in despite what relationship drama or story line the writers have cooked up at the time. The thing about Bones is no matter how many times I start to worry about my favorite characters, I’ve learned that if I sit back and trust the brilliant mind of Hart Hanson, he’ll lead me through the doubt and deliver exactly what I didn’t know I wanted for those characters.

In the season premiere, when Brennan and Booth were reunited, my heart was happy, although I could see the foreshadowing of relationship woes brought on by her fleeing with the baby—let’s hope I’m wrong. I am also loving Angela and her strength this season, as well as the fact that Hodgins seems to man up when it comes to the ones he loves—he was fierce.

On tonight’s episode, “The Gunk in the Garage,” an investigation of human remains found in the aftermath of an explosion in a hotel garage hits a snag when the team learn their assumptions about a man’s fate are incorrect. Meanwhile, Sweets gets a temporary partner at the FBI. Danielle Panabaker (Shark) guest stars.

To see how the team handles this intense case, tune in to FOX at 8/7c. Learn where to find episodes online of Bones @ Clicker.

Tonight, I’ll also be watching/DVRing Revolution, The Voice, Hawaii Five-0, The Mob Doctor, 2 Broke Girls, and Mike & Molly.

If We Controlled Your Remote… 8/20/12

This summer is just flying by! The weekend was an adventure for me, especially getting sick (yes, Jenny—no Kansas sushi anymore. 😉 )—but overall, it was a fabulous weekend. Now it’s back to the daily grind, which includes some new and fantastic television, so let’s see what’s on.

Bunheads is one of those shows that had a lot of mixed reviews when it first premiered, but as it continued, it warmed our hearts and became a fan favorite. I love this show. Michelle is hilarious because she is always speaking her mind and saying the things that we all wish we could say. Her relationship with Fanny is really amusing, and I love how they interact. My heart was cheering for Boo and her crush, but she handled it poorly, like all teenage girls do at one point or another, so hopefully she manages to fix it.

On tonight’s season finale, “A Nutcracker in Paradise,” Fanny and Michelle bond as they collaborate on the recital, but then their friendship goes off track. Meanwhile, Boo pursues a relationship with a boy she likes.

To see how Fanny and Michelle make out, tune in to ABC Family at 9/8c. Learn where to find episodes online of Bunheads @ Clicker.
