America you have a new America Idol. A big congrats to Scotty McCreery. Now we can move on from one of the strangest season of Idol and look at what you should be watching tonight.

Megan’s Choice

It’s time to move from a singing competition to a dancing competition, as So You Think You Can Dance returns tonight at 8/7c on FOX. I’m ready for a new season, and I’m excited to have a whole new group of dancers to admire and critique. The best part of SYTYCD in the early rounds is watching the funny auditions and thinking “These people can’t be for real.”

On tonight’s season premiere, the judges head to Atlanta and the Bay Area, to see if they can find the next best dancer.

The Real Housewives of New York City Recap – 5/19/11

I ask myself one question after every Housewives show: Do they really not see footage from the show? And also: Does Ramona not see footage of herself? And I’m not even referring to her ‘bug eyes.’ I’m speaking of her behavior. Ramona is definitely the Queen of Denial. Anyway, enough about Ramona. For now.

I always give about 50% leeway that this is still a show on TV. How real is it? Who really knows, who really cares. I just know I love every minute of it. I have also realized that my recaps are recaps of the ladies’ behavior, and not so much about the scenarios on the show. But being critical about their behavior is a TON of fun. I’ve already started on Ramona, let’s move on to Kelly Bensimon. ( @kellybensimon )

If We Controlled Your Remote… 5/19/11

I’m back! 😀 Hello my lovelies!!! It’s true what they say about needing a vacation from a vacation, because frankly, I’m tired out from all that visiting! To help me relax and unwind from the vacation, I’m going to kick back tonight and watch a few season finales and shows in general. Let’s see what you should be watching tonight.

Megan’s Choice #1

What am I going to do on Thursday nights now that it’s the end of the TV season, and I won’t get any new episodes of Grey’s Anatomy until next season? It’s been a season full of ups and downs, happy and sad moments, but everything aside, I’m still looking forward to the finale tonight.

On tonight’s season finale, the truth about Meredith’s deceit in the clinical trial is brought to light, and it puts her career in jeopardy, while also causing consequences for others. Owen announces his choice for chief resident, and Cristina and Teddy have choices to make.
