Baby Pherson is still baking. 🙂 Unfortunately, my whole house is fighting off a cold virus right now. I tell you what makes me laugh, is that on average, men are horrible patients. You’d think my husband was dying, but no, he just has the same cough/cold I have, except I’m also pregnant. Men. 😉 To take my mind off this cold and help me relax and wait a bit longer for the little one to make an appearance, let’s take a look at what’s on television.

Megan’s Choice

I’m always excited for a new episode of Glee, and this week is no exception. There has been a lot of drama on the show lately, and I’m interested to see when Ryan Murphy is finally going to fix some of my favorite couples.

On tonight’s episode, Gwyneth Paltrow is back as Holly Holliday, and she’ll be filling in for the sex-ed teacher. Holly joins forces with Will to teach the glee kids the facts of life. Meanwhile, Emma heads the Celibacy Club, leading her and Dr. Carl (John Stamos) to address personal issues.

If We Controlled Your Remote… 1/11/11

Is it just me, or is January flying by already? That’s both exciting and nerve wracking for me, as each day gets me closer to being a mom of two! Only about 8 weeks left to go, and I’ll have a baby boy. 😀 I’m supposed to be resting more, according to my doctor, so tonight, that’s exactly what I’m doing – relaxing and watching great TV. Let’s take a look at what we think you should be watching, shall we?

Megan’s Choice

I simply can’t help myself when it comes to watching NCIS: LA, and I’m not going to try either. 😉 I don’t know if it’s the chemistry of the cast, the story lines, or the attractive eye candy the show offers that pulls me in, but whatever it is, I want more.

In tonight’s episode, the team investigates the theft of a body with a Navy identification marking from an autopsy room, and they uncover an experimental Navy tracking system.

If We Controlled Your Remote… 1/4/11

Ugh, running behind today, because I couldn’t get to sleep last night, and then after I finally did fall asleep around 6:00 this morning, I was woke up when my husband’s alarm went off at 7:00, then again at 8:00 when my son left. I’ve been awake since. My eyes hurt and I’m exhausted. Happy day. Luckily, there’s some new TV on tonight to make me happy after what is sure to be a long day, so let’s get to it!

Jenny’s Choice

Like last night, my choice for tonight is a reality show. Tonight is the 2-hour series premiere of Live to Dance on CBS at 8/7c. Paula Abdul is back, after leaving her job as judge on American Idol a couple of seasons ago. In one of the most inclusive talent searches on television, dancers with raw ability, in any age group from across the nation (either performing solo or in a group) can audition in any form of dancing – ballet to break dance, tap to tango, or their own unique fusion of styles – rock ballet, hip-hop clogging or contemporary mixed with capoeira. The most talented dancers who make it through the callback process will have the chance to perform live in the semi-finals and finals, where they will battle for the right to be crowned champion and be awarded a $500,000 prize. Executive producer, lead expert and mentor Paula Abdul will be joined by host Andrew Günsberg and fellow experts, choreographer Travis Payne and singer/dancer Kimberly Wyatt.

TV News – 10/18/10

I understand the phrase, “Manic Monday”, even more today. Packing to move in less than 2 weeks, pregnant and a daughter home sick with a bladder infection makes for one tired and cranky mommy. Let’s see if I can brighten up my own day with some good news, and maybe I’ll amuse you while I’m at it. 🙂

NBC has been busy giving full-season pick ups to three of their new shows. The Event, Outsourced and Law & Order: Los Angeles, have all been give a full first season. I’m surprised by the pick up for Law & Order: LA because it hasn’t been doing particularly well in ratings. There is still no word on Undercovers or Chase, but if they gave LOLA a pickup I’d hope they’d recognize Undercovers with a pick up as well, wouldn’t you agree? Source
