TV News – Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt Sing “What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve?”

It’s no secret that we here at TV Is My Pacifier are big fans of New Girl, but even more so of Zooey Deschanel (@zooeydeschanel). The little known fact is how much I, personally, ADORE Joseph Gordon-Levitt (@hitRECordJoe ).

I have loved him in everything, but especially in 10 Things I Hate About You, when he made the teenage me weak in the knees. However, I’m getting off track. 🙂

Today, there was a video released by HelloGiggles.com, of Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt singing “What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve?” together.

While my TV addict’s heart was a flutter for how much awesomeness Zooey oozed, the teenage girl in me swooned over Joseph’s suave singing. Watch the video below and check out the original article, where Zooey raves about her friendship with the fabulous Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

Interview with Zooey Deschanel from New Girl

I recently got the chance to speak to Zooey Deschanel about her new show on FOX, called New Girl. I’ve seen the pilot, and I really enjoyed it. Zooey seems to enjoy filming it and seems to really like her character. Check out the questions & answers below.
 

On her favorite aspects of Jess

Zooey Deschanel: I really love that she’s totally herself, even though she’s awkward at times and kind of nerdy at times. She’s not afraid of being herself, whether it comes out as being a little bit naive or something else, or just a really strong sense of self. She’s totally herself. I think that’s really nice to see in female characters, because a lot of times female characters are just reacting to the men. Especially in comedies, I think a lot of time the female characters are there to provide a balance for guys.

And, I really don’t feel that’s true with this character. I really feel like she’s equal to all the guys. I really, really love that. She’s a real true modern woman.
