We haven’t had a new episode of Blindspot since this time in NOVEMBER! Crazy that it’s been just over three months. So here’s a hopefully quick recap of where we left off. Patterson’s (ex-)boyfriend David was killed after following a woman he saw look at and do something with the book he and Patterson had found in the library. That woman turned out to be a sleeper agent – a Russian spy who’d lived quietly as an American for years until she was called up, who was able to surprise him and kill him, despite the man following David (who turned out to be an agent assigned by Mayfair to keep him safe). There were two other Russian sleeper agents. Ultimately, the team was able to take them down, including the woman who’d killed David. Jane then sneaked out of her safe house and went to Weller’s place, where she proclaimed she wanted a time that was just them, and then they kissed. And all the shippers cheered until his nephew interrupted them. Damn kids! LOL
Then Jane left to walk home, but she was kidnapped…by Carter’s team, we realized when she woke up to find herself tied down in a basement somewhere. He started torturing her by pouring water over her face and asking her who she is and what she knows about Project Daylight. She swore she didn’t know and finally asked him about Orion, which infuriated him even further. He picked up a drill, but before he could harm her further, the guy with the tree tattoo from Jane’s flashback memories swooped in and killed him. Then he showed Jane a video on his phone of her, before the tattoos and the FBI, saying to trust Oscar and that…dun, dun, dun…it was ALL her idea! Meanwhile, Zapata decided she was done playing ball with Carter, and rather than putting the bug in Jane’s place, she decided she would resign from the FBI.
Okay, so a lot of people kind of guessed that Jane had done it to herself. Now we know for certain that she did. What does that mean going forward? Why did she do it? Was she a good guy then too, or was she a bad guy and has she changed now that her memories were wiped? Is Carter really dead, or did he somehow survive three bullets to the chest? Did Zapata already turn in her resignation, or did Carter’s death save her career? And what about Jane & Weller? Did the kiss – or Jane’s new knowledge of her past – change things? I’ve seen tonight’s episode, and we will get answers to some of those things but not all! I have a feeling some of it will play out the rest of the season, if not series!
On tonight’s episode, “Cease Forcing Enemy,†Jane reels from a series of massive revelations about her tattoos and grapples with whether to trust Oscar (guest star Francois Arnaud). Meanwhile, a tattoo leads the team to a shocking discovery in the Black Sea.
See what the team discovers in the Black Sea tonight on NBC at 10/9c.
I’ll also be watching/DVRing Cake Wars, Lucifer, Major Crimes, Scorpion, NCIS: LA, & Castle.

Tonight, the second season of Gotham is back with its winter premiere, which will fittingly include the introduction of Mr. Freeze. When we last left off, Theo Galavan had kidnapped Bruce and planned to kill him in some sort of ritualistic ceremony. Gordon was a fugitive in the eyes of Barnes and the GCPD, but with Selena’s help, he and Penguin were able to get into Galavan’s tower to rescue Bruce. However, as Gordon held Galavan at gunpoint, Barnes showed up and demanded that he drop the gun. Penguin knocked out Barnes, and then the pair took Galavan to the lake, where they executed him. But this may not be the last we see of Galavan, as his body was being shipped off to Doctor Strange.
So where does this latest murder leave Jim Gordon? How is he ever going to become commissioner if he keeps killing people?! Will Jim be able to clear his name and get back on the force? Also, Lee broke the news that she’s pregnant – I guess they decided to write the real-life couple’s pregnancy into their characters as well. How is this going to change Gordon? And besides Mr. Freeze, what other villains can we expect to pop up in this second half of the “Wrath of the Villains” season of the series?
On tonight’s episode, “Wrath of the Villains: Mr. Freeze,” Penguin doesn’t let Gordon off easily when he takes a hit for Galavan’s murder; and Gordon and Bullock investigate a body-snatching spree.
Find out what price Penguin demands tonight on FOX at 8/7c.
I’ll also be watching/recording Supergirl, Castle, Lucifer, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Jane the Virgin, Major Crimes, The Magicians, and Better Call Saul.

It isn’t a usual thing for my eyes to water while watching NCIS: LA, but last week’s episode had me tearing up and very emotional. Callen has been searching for his father for a while, constantly wondering where he was and why he hadn’t been around. Well, last week, we met his father. Callen and Sam went to Russia to rescue a CIA agent as well as help Anna rescue her father (Arkady) and when they got out them out of the prison, the CIA agent used a connection to get them a safe house. That connection turned out to be Callen’s father. I believe Callen clued in right away, and then at the end of the episode, they had a moment, and his father basically said he’d been following everything Callen has done in his life and he was proud of him. I was so moved for Callen, and hopefully the writers give us more on this soon.
On tonight’s episode, “Revenge Deferred,” after extensive surveillance footage of Sam’s family is found in Africa, Sam and Callen fly there to determine who is responsible and for what purpose. Also, Sam’s family is moved from their home to a safe house.
Find out if Sam can keep his family safe tonight on CBS at 10/9c.
I’ll also be watching The Voice, Scorpion, Lucifer, and Blindspot.

[…] For weeks, during the episodes of Top Chef, I’ve been seeing ads for Bravo’s new travel reality series Tour Group, and I’ve been looking forward to checking it out. The series, which premieres tonight, finds three expert tour guides taking a group of eleven strangers on a once-in-a-lifetime trip around the globe. The eclectic mix of travelers include a pair of half brothers who have never been outside of the US, a married couple getting over a near-death experience, an on-air personality who is reevaluating his work/life balance after his own back-to-back near-death experiences, a woman on one last hurrah deciding whether it’s time to settle down with her boyfriend, a guy who recently broke up with his boyfriend, estranged twin sisters, a women who just went through a messy divorce from her billionaire ex-husband, and another divorcée who is engaged for the thirteenth time! It’ll be interesting to see how this odd mix of personalities learn to get along while experiencing new cultures and breathtaking locations. It kind of looks like The Amazing Race but without the challenges or elimination—the participants just get to enjoy the experience… […]
