royalpains518smallI’m so happy because tonight is the season premiere of Royal Pains. On the season finale last July, all our favorite characters had big story lines. Hank came face to face with his ex-fiance, Nikki. Throughout the course of the episode, we got to see Hank’s memory of their breakup and then watched as he realized he had been remembering it wrong all this time. Maybe he can really move forward now that he isn’t completely blaming Nikki. Poor Divya lost her grandmother, but she also made the decision that she was going to go to school to become a doctor AND she and Raj met up again, and once he said that his marriage was over, he and Divya both admitted they still loved each other, he proposed, and she accepted! And finally… Evan and Paige were all set to adopt a young girl’s baby, but once she went into labor and Paige reunited her with her mother, they realized that Elan was ready to become a mother, so they bowed out of the adoption.

So where do they all go from there? Will Hank find love? Will Divya still be able to work with Hank Med AND go to school to become a doctor, and will she and Raj make a go of it? And what about Paige and Evan? Will they find a baby to adopt or will they get a miracle and be able to have their own? Whatever is coming for them all, I can’t wait to watch and find out!

On tonight’s episode, “Stranger Danger,” Hank treats a politician while Jeremiah enlists Divya’s help. Hank and Evan react very differently when Eddie returns to the Hamptons, and Divya’s future plans hit a roadblock. Henry Winkler guest stars.

Catch the premiere tonight on USA Network at 10/9c.

I’ll also be watching/DVRing Rosewood, The Goldbergs, Law & Order: SVU, Modern Family, black-ish, & Chicago PD.

survivor2016smallTonight, another season of Survivor comes to an end, and that means another 3-hour event on CBS. This has been a rough season for the contestants. Last week, Joe had some constipation issues and eventually called for the doctor. Medical told Joe the gory details about what could happen to him if this condition was left untreated, and while that did scare the crap out of him figuratively, it did not do so literally, and so Joe pulled himself from the game, making him the third medical evacuation this season! That meant no tribal counsel and left Michele, Tai, Aubry and Cyndey to battle it out in tonight’s finale.

With only four survivors left, that means Tai can no longer play the idol he’s been holding on to. Also, with only four people heading into the 2-hour finale, it seems likely that the series will finally return to the old final-two format. Which of these finalists will get to plead their cases to the jury, and who will take home the prize? I don’t know who I want to win, but out of those left, the only one I will even remember from this season is Tai, so I guess I’ll go with him by default. However, he turned on a bunch of his alliances and so the jury voters may not be too keen on giving him the money.

On tonight’s episode, “Not Going Down Without a Fight,” the final castaways battle for a game-changing reward to help determine their fate. Later, they face the jury and plead their case before the jury members vote for a winner. Afterwards, the winner is revealed as the castaways reunite to discuss the season.

See who takes home the prize tonight on CBS starting at 8/7c.

I’ll also be watching/recording The Middle, The Goldbergs, Modern Family, black-ish, Empire, Arrow, and The Americans.
