blindspot1012smallLast week on Blindspot, the team followed a tattoo to a corrupt Homeland Security employee who has been building video games that turn out to be plans for thieves on how to execute perfect robberies. In the end, the team unraveled the clues like they always do, reunited a mother (a CIA agent) with her daughter, who she thought was dead, but then the woman went to prison for murder and the daughter got sent to live with other family. It all tied in to Jane’s story, as well as Reade’s. Reade is still dealing with the fact that Freddie insinuated that Reade himself was also a victim of their coach, who’d sexually abused boys under his care. And Jane learned that the (supposed) reason Sandstorm is doing what they’re doing is that Shepherd’s family (parents and brother) all died as a result of the contamination of a lake they always went to. You could tell the story affected Jane, but I hope it doesn’t make her waver on whose side she’s on!

No one knows about Weller’s ex-girlfriend’s pregnancy yet, but that is going to have to come up this week, as Allie is back this week, working with the team to catch the bad guys. Eek!

On tonight’s episode, “Condone Untidiest Thefts,” after a prominent politician is almost killed during a rally, Weller and the team must work with U.S. Marshal Allie Knight (guest star Trieste Kelly Dunn) to take down a mob leader.

See if Allie can stay safe tonight on NBC at 8/7c.

I’ll also be watching/DVRing The Goldbergs, Lethal Weapon, Speechless, Criminal Minds, Frequency, Law & Order: SVU, Modern Family, Property Brothers, Worst Cooks in America, black-ish, Chicago PD, Cutthroat Kitchen, & That Awkward Game Show.

thegoldbergs1012smallI always enjoy ABC’s Wednesday night comedy lineup. On last week’s episode of The Goldbergs, Adam tried to impress a girl at school by making himself look unavailable – he pulled a Jan Brady by making up a fake girlfriend’s name. This inspired Erica to do the same to try to win over Geoff. However, as Adam and Erica tried to out-do one another, escalating their fake relationships, their ruses quickly fell apart. Meanwhile, both Barry and Beverly missed out on concerts they wanted to see due to Murray’s stubbornness.

I always look forward to my weekly trip back to the 80s with the Goldberg family. These characters are all so much fun. While my favorite is easily over-protective mom Beverly, I really enjoy all of the relationships between these family members. This series constantly has me laughing along with a big dose of nostalgia.

On tonight’s episode, “Crazy Calls,” Murray and Pop-Pop wage a war of words after the Goldbergs get their first-ever answering machine. Fed up with their fighting, Erica, Barry, and Pops hope to broker a peace using a trip to a hockey game as leverage. Meanwhile, Beverly worries about Adam’s social standing after he begins spending his lunch period with some lovable geeks in the computer room. Judd Hirsch guest stars.

Meet Adam’s new friends tonight on ABC at 8/7c.

I’ll also be watching/recording Speechless, Modern Family, black-ish, Designated Survivor, Survivor, Criminal Minds, Blindspot, Lethal Weapon, Empire, Arrow, Frequency, Worst Cooks in America, American Horror Story, You’re the Worst, Younger, and Impastor.
