The Librarians Episode 301 "And the Rise of Chaos" 5/6/16 IMG_8411I’m so excited because tonight is the season premiere of The Librarians on TNT. On the last season finale, the group had their hands full battling Prospero, who was wreaking havoc with modern technology because he wanted to create an idyllic forest utopia, no matter the cost. To stop him, Flynn and Baird had to travel back in time to 1611, while the others battled him in the present time. Fortunately, they were able to defeat him, which meant the season ended on a high note. The team is working together well, and at least in the first few episodes, Flynn is still working side by side with them. It’ll be interesting to see how much of the season Noah Wyle is around for!

On tonight’s episode, “And the Rise of Chaos,” when the Egyptian God of Chaos inhabits a human body, he attempts to release Pure Evil into the world, thus beginning the final battle of Good vs. Evil. In order to stop him, the Librarians must decipher a series of clues within a science museum, including a mysterious warning spoken by exhibit mannequins that have come to life.

See if the Librarians can stop Pure Evil from taking over tonight on TNT at 8/7c.

I’ll also be watching/DVRing Guy’s Grocery Games, NCIS: LA, Holiday Baking Championship, & Clash of the Grandmas.

bobsburgers1120smallTo make up for not airing a new episode last week, tonight FOX is serving up a double helping of Bob’s Burgers! In the last episode, Bob decided to try out Jimmy Pesto’s money-saving meat supplier, but the deal proved too good to be true. A pair of food-safety investigators informed Bob that the man was in fact selling horse meat (which of course horrified Tina) and that they needed him to go undercover to catch his new supplier on tape claiming that the meat was USDA beef. And of course the operation went nowhere near as smoothly as planned.

Bob’s Burgers has become my favorite show in FOX’s animated lineup. This family is so much fun – from the crazy kids to their equally-bizarre parents, there’s always some crazy hijinks going on. I’m really looking forward to tonight’s double-dose of episodes, especially since one of them is Thanksgiving themed!

On tonight’s first episode, “Large Brother, Where Fart Thou?” Tina’s mishap lands her a school detention, and without a babysitter for the other kids, Bob and Linda are forced to leave Gene and Louise home alone, where they get themselves in a sticky situation. Later, Bob and Linda’s problems multiply when they get in trouble with their accountant.

Then later in the evening, in “The Quirkducers,” Gene and Louise sabotage Mr. Frond’s annual pre-Thanksgiving Day play in order to assure their long weekend. Meanwhile, Linda stumbles upon a potato that bears a striking resemblance to her late grandfather.

Don’t miss either episode tonight on FOX at 7:30/6:30c & 8:30/7:30c.

I’ll also be watching/recording Madam Secretary, The Simpsons, Family Guy, The Last Man on Earth, The Walking Dead, The Librarians, Eyewitness, and Westworld.
