Kyle’s Choice
The Mick has turned out to be one of my favorite new comedies this season. Last week, Chip got caught with a lewd photo on his phone and had to go in front of the school’s honor-board. Sabrina was overseeing the trial and wasn’t going to let her brother get off easy. Chuck refused to give the names of the students who sent the photo…until he realized that the photo he had pleasured himself to was of his sister. After puking several times, he immediately gave up the names. Meanwhile, Mickey had a scared-straight speech with Ben about what happens to “rats,” so when he witnessed a man keying the family’s expensive car, he refused to tell Alba what he knew.
This show is so hilarious. Every week I find myself laughing out loud. The writing also seems to be getting better each week, as the writers find new and clever ways to intersect the various story lines and pair up the characters. I can’t wait to see what crazy, messed-up antics the family gets up to tonight!
On tonight’s episode, “The Mess,” Mickey dumps the “cool aunt” persona and decides to lay down the law when the kids ignore her attempts at disciplining them.

I’m always excited when some of my favorite shows do a crossover, and that’s happening once again tonight with NCIS and NCIS: New Orleans. The last episodes were good ones for both. On NCIS, we got to see the Sherlocks in action, with Jimmy Palmer and newest member…Anthony DiNozzo Sr…right in the middle of things. It was funny to watch Judith McKnight and her interest in Gibbs…until Senior worked his charm, and they were hot and heavy by the end of the episode. It’s kind of weird/kind of fun to get updates on Tony and his daughter via Senior. It’s a fun way to keep that history of the show in the viewers’ heads. Then in NOLA, Elvis Bertrand was back when a group of hackers stole thousands of classified government files. Unfortunately, the man who killed multiple people to get to those files was Elvis’s protégé, so he took it personally and vowed to help Pride and the team find him. I always love seeing Tom Arnold on the show. He brings some fun and light-heartedness to Pride.
On tonight’s first episode, “Pandora’s Box, Part I,†after Abby’s homeland security think tank is compromised and she is found in possession of a real bomb, the NCIS team discovers the leader of the group has been murdered and a theoretical terror playbook has been stolen.
Then on the second episode, “Pandora’s Box, Part II,†NCIS agents McGee and Torres travel to New Orleans to partner with Pride and his team in the search for a missing homeland security theoretical terror playbook.
Get two hours of connected drama tonight on CBS at 8/7c & 10/9c.

Megan’s Choice
It’s a bittersweet truth that it’s the final season of Bones, because on one hand, I believe it’s definitely time, but on the other, I am going to miss Booth and Brennan, as well as the whole team. Last week, we watched as the team tried to solve the murder of a professional female lumberjack. It was a grisly case, and there were some juicy secrets revealed about the victim. The case was solved, but my favorite part was Booth and Brennan competing at running on a log that was floating in the water. It was a lot of fun to watch.
On tonight’s episode, “The Scare in the Score,” when a series of corpses with ties to Booth’s former Army unit appear around D.C., Booth must dive into his past to find the killer before the killer finds Booth. Meanwhile, Brennan’s father, Max, hides a serious medical procedure from Brennan, leaving her to grapple with her father’s trust and mortality, as well as her family being in danger.
To find out if Booth can save the day before it’s too late, tune in to FOX at 9/8c.
