Last week on Better Call Saul, we got the genesis of one of Breaking Bad’s key relationships – Mike met Gus Fring! Gus didn’t want Mike to kill Hector Salamanca but said he was free to mess with him all he wanted. So Mike hatched a clever plan involving sneakers and a rifle to make sure there was drug residue on the outside of Salamanca’s delivery truck when it tried to cross the border. Meanwhile, the police showed up at Chuck’s to arrest Jimmy, and one of his former public defender coworkers gave Jimmy a hard time when he saw him in the holding cell. Jimmy made bail and, despite Kim’s protests, decided he wanted to defend himself.
I like how the series is quickly moving toward Breaking Bad, setting up the pieces and the relationships that were in place when that show began. Can Jimmy get himself cleared of the charges levied by Chuck? If not, is this what is going to ultimately lead him to become Saul Goodman? What is Salamanca going to do in response to Mike’s actions? And how close are we to learning how he became the wheelchair-bound, mute, bell-ringing guy we saw at the start of Breaking Bad?
On tonight’s episode, “Sabrosito,” Jimmy calls in a favor from Mike. Meanwhile, new complications disrupt the Salamancas’s business; and Chuck and Jimmy struggle to compromise.
Find out what favor Jimmy calls in tonight on AMC at 10/9c.
I’ll also be watching/recording Quantico, Man With a Plan, Superior Donuts, The Great Indoors, Gotham, Supergirl, Jane the Virgin, Young & Hungry, Baby Daddy, and Angie Tribeca.

Lucifer has been on hiatus for way, way too long, but tonight it returns, and I am overjoyed. One of my biggest hopes is that the writers fix the mess they’ve created between Chloe and Lucifer, because without a doubt those two belong together.
Unfortunately, Lucifer panicked after learning about his father’s connection to Chloe, and he fled. Poor Chloe was rightfully distraught, and I’m not sure what it’s going to take for her to trust again…but the writers better find a way.
On tonight’s episode, “Candy Morningstar,” two weeks after Chloe’s near-death, Lucifer has gone off the grid, cutting off all contact from his family and the police department. He materializes just in time to help solve an up-and-coming guitarist’s murder and introduces the department to a ditzy stripper named Candy…a new mystery woman in his life. While Lucifer’s mom desperately tries to contact her son, Chloe tries to push him away. Lucifer must find a way to prove himself in order to be invited back onto the team.
To find out who Candy is and if Lucifer can find his way back into Chloe’s life, tune in to FOX at 9/8c.
I’ll also be watching The Voice, Kevin Can Wait, Man With a Plan, Big Brother Canada, Scorpion, Taken, and Kids BBQ Championship.
