Tonight is the series premiere of Just Like Mom and Dad on BYUtv at 8/7c. The 20-episode primetime family game show celebrates modern, diverse families and proves how much fun families can have together. The show is hosted by husband and wife duo and family entertainment veterans, Sandy Jobin-Bevans and Kylee Evans. Sandy, a nine-time Canadian Comedy Award winner and Kylee, an actress, appeared on YTV/Nickelodeon’s hit sitcom Life With Boys, where Sandy played the loving, single father and Kylee played their neighbor. Sandy was also the co-host of the hidden camera game show, Deal With It and Kylee is known for her recurring roles in Good Witch and The Stanley Dynamic.

Tonight is also the series premiere of Street Outlaws: Memphis on Discovery Channel at 10/9c. In Memphis, it’s all for one and one for all, and no one illustrates that sentiment better than JJ Da Boss and his “Team Memphis” crew. Along with his wife Tricia, who is known on the streets as “Midget,” and his cousin Precious, also known as the “Queen of the Streets,” fast-talking JJ welcomes viewers into his world where racing is all about pride and honor. Team Memphis has few rules, and its members often put their lives on the line for the hustle of the race. They are “trying to beat ya, not cheat ya,” and are available whenever a challenger emerges. JJ’s “arm drop” and “chase is the race” styles require knowledge and skill, and his family of racers rarely fails, as success hinges not just on speed, but on their ability to count on their teammates and get each other from “A to B.” It’s a crazy world full of big characters, who all have colorful histories both on and off the track. They’re also well-versed in the art of the hustle and bring that to each race.

Tonight is the series premiere of Love After Lockup on WE at 10/9c. People find the love of their life in many ways: set-ups, matchmakers, swiping right, and sometimes… through letters with incarcerated convicts! The show follows six couples who share the emotional journey of being united for the first time after years of supervised visits, recorded phone calls, and handwritten letters, as they transition from love behind bars to the marriage altar. This new series will introduce the couples as they prepare for the big release day — and an even bigger wedding day. As most of these couples have never had unsupervised contact with one another, we will watch as they experience several “firsts” including dates, meeting the family and other nerve-wracking, intimate moments. The newly free ex-cons are lucky enough to walk into the open arms of their loved one, but will also deal with the difficulties of reentry; including temptations in the outside world, rules and regulations due to parole, difficulties of job hunting with a rap sheet, and of course judgement from family and friends. Each is a tale of love and redemption, full of surprises and shocking moments, begging the question “Is love enough to create a bright future when one partner has a checkered past?”
