Have you ever been at a loss as to what to watch? Too many shows to pick from? We’re here to give you our opinions on what we feel is worth watching. Check it out and then let us know in the comments below what you’re choosing for tonight!
Jenny’s Choice #1
My first pick tonight is Dead to Me, the new dark comedy on Netflix. Christina Applegate (Samantha Who?, Jesse, Married with Children) and Linda Cardellini (ER, Freaks & Geeks, Bloodline) star as Jen and Judy. Jen (Applegate) was recently widowed after her husband was killed by a hit-and-run driver. Judy (Cardellini) is an optimistic free spirit who also recently suffered her own tragic loss. They meet each other at a support group and become unlikely friends, despite their polar-opposite personalities. They bond over wine, Entenmann’s cookies, and a shared like of The Facts of Life, but a secret looms of them that Judy tries to shield Jen from. It also stars Ed Asner, Diana Maria Riva (Gates, Telenovela), James Marsden (Westworld), Luke Roessler, Max Jenkins (The Mysteries of Laura), & Sam McCarthy.
The trailer looks really funny, but it’s indeed dark – Judy looks to have her own secrets and seems to be a little (or…a lot) crazy. It’ll be interesting to see how it all plays out!
Check out the whole first season now on Netflix!

Hawaii Five-0 had me on the edge of my seat last week while Noelani was forced at gunpoint to operate on a criminal with her mentor from med school. In the end, the team saved her, but I’m sure it will leave a lasting effect on her. It was very nice to see an episode where Noelani was featured, because we don’t get to see as much of her as I’d like. She’s a very strong, funny character. I’m looking forward to tonight’s episode because Junior is taking Tani to her friend’s wedding, and I am hoping we finally see some kind of romantic movement with these two.
On tonight’s episode, “Ho’okahi no la o ka malihini (A Stranger Only for a Day),” while McGarrett helps his visiting sister, Mary, spy on her shady neighbors, Five-0 investigates the murders of a ride-share driver and his passenger. Also, the team teases the youngest members of Five-0 when Junior escorts Tani to a wedding.
To find out how spying on Mary’s neighbor works out for McGarrett, tune in to CBS at 9/8c.
I’ll also be watching MacGyver and Blue Bloods.
Jenny’s Choice #2
My second pick tonight is Flinch, also on Netflix. This new action comedy game show has one simple rule: do not flinch. Contestants are pitted against three crazy games, and if they flinch, they face painful consequences – along with one of the three hosts, each of whom has chosen a contestant to represent them. The trailer shows mouse traps, bugs, things being flung at faces, and other crazy games. It seemed a bit like Fear Factor and looked really fun, so I can’t wait to check it out.
Don’t miss the entire first season now on Netflix!
I’ll also be watching/DVRing Last Man Standing, MacGyver, The Cool Kids, Hawaii Five-0, & Blue Bloods.
