If We Controlled Your Remote… 11/6/19

Have you ever been at a loss as to what to watch? Too many shows to pick from? We’re here to give you our opinions on what we feel is worth watching. Check it out and then let us know in the comments below what you’re choosing for tonight!

I gotta say…I was a bit miffed at Chicago Med and how little Natalie was punished over her actions with the little boy a couple of episodes ago, when she locked herself in the exam room with him and gave him antibiotics over his parents’ adamant, visceral refusal. I mean, I didn’t agree with the parents at all, but still… As a parent myself, I’d have knocked the doctor out if she’d done that without my consent. Did it help that she was right? Sure, maybe a little bit. But what if she’d been wrong? I get how the hospital had to cover its behind by getting the paperwork pushed through to show they had the right to treat the boy, but even after she got arrested, she was only let out and got away with it because she’d been right. I’m hoping that the terrible character we’re dealing with now goes away soon, that maybe it’s still the TBI. I’d hoped that when she kicked Phillip to the curb, we’d get the Natalie we used to know and love back, not this person who is suffering from horribly, terribly bad judgment. I mean, COME ON. To get together with him in the first place, when his wife died not long before that?? Argh. But whatever. I can move on. 😉

Speaking of moving on… I like that Sharon decided to meet up with her ex-husband and at least give it a chance that she can find some peace, even if it never goes any further than that. And oh boy… Noah brought home the wannabe gang member girl. Can’t wait to see how that story goes!

On tonight’s episode, “Who Knows What Tomorrow Brings,” Dr. Charles and Dr. Halstead sink their teeth into a bloodthirsty case. Dr. Marcel and Maggie throw a traditional crawfish boil for the staff. A new relationship blossoms while another is left on rocky ground.

Find out which relationships are developing tonight on NBC at 8/7c.

Poor Sonny on SEAL Team. Lisa breaking up with him really hit him hard, and he took that literally and got his butt handed to him in several sparring matches in a row. He wouldn’t talk to anyone, was short-tempered and unhappy… Me no likey! He wasn’t the only one unhappy though. Clay is still bitterly angry that his pick didn’t get chosen for Bravo. I know he’ll get past it, but I don’t like when Clay is unhappy, so I hope he accepts Vic soon. Speaking of Vic… He was really hoping to fit in quickly, but with Sonny being kind of an ass and Clay openly hostile about him, he didn’t have the greatest first day out with Bravo.

As for the COTW, in what was a surprising (to me) 2-parter, the team was sent to Yemen. Well, Ray and Clay were sent over first as the advance team to meet with a US ambassador who was there to broker peace between two Yemeni tribes. And surprise! Mandy was there ahead of even them to assess the situation. Unfortunately, after the ambassador met with one of the tribes’ Imams, the rival tribe surrounded the dignitary compound in a standoff that escalated into a firefight. Thankfully, Jason and the rest of the team arrived just in time, and after figuring out how to skirt as many of the Yemeni shooter as possible, they got into the compound to help out Ray and Clay. And that’s where we left off at the end of last week’s episode…

On tonight’s episode, “All Along the Watchtower: Part 2,” while on a mission abroad to protect U.S. ambassador Nicole Marsden (Khandi Alexander), Bravo Team must fight off enemy attackers trying to infiltrate their compound.

To see how Bravo makes it out of this situation alive, tune in to CBS at 9/8c.

I’ll also be watching The Goldbergs, Schooled, Chicago Fire, Guy’s Grocery Games, Modern Family, Single Parents, Chicago PD, S.W.A.T., & Stumptown.
