Overnight was a 1-hour Discovery+ special Passport to Love. Inspired by real-world events and an increasingly globalized dating scene, Passport to Love embraces the spirit of American women who yearn for more than the boy next door as they travel overseas in search of love and lasting partnership.
Tonight is the TV movie Robin Roberts Presents: Mahalia on Lifetime at 8/7c. Born in New Orleans, Mahalia Jackson (Danielle Brooks) began singing at an early age and went on to become one of the most revered gospel figures in U.S. history, melding her music with the civil rights movement. Her recording of the song “Move on Up a Little Higher” sold millions of copies, skyrocketing her to international fame and gave her the opportunity to perform at diverse settings including in front of a racially integrated audience at the prestigious Carnegie Hall and at John F. Kennedy’s inaugural ball. An active supporter of the Civil Rights Movement, Jackson sang at numerous rallies, including the March on Washington in 1963 in hopes that her music would encourage and inspire racial equality. Also stars Jason Dirden, Joaquina Kalukango, Olivia Washington, & Rob Demery.
Tonight is also the Hallmark movie One Perfect Wedding at 9/8c. With Cara (Taylor Cole) leaving on an international book tour in two weeks and Ben’s (Jack Turner) business expansion keeping him busy, the couple decides they won’t let work commitments postpone their nuptials any longer. So, they book the Clara Lake Chalet and head back to where their romance began for a small, intimate wedding with friends and family…just 10 days away. With the help of their best friends Megan (Rukiya Bernard) and Sean (Dewshane Williams), Cara and Ben feel nothing can stop them from having the perfect wedding.
