Tonight is the series premiere of Wild West Chronicles on INSP at 5:30/4:30c. The show follows the legendary Bat Masterson, once a formidable gunslinger and lawman, after he trades his sheriff’s badge for a pen and becomes a newspaper reporter. In each episode, Masterson tracks down eyewitnesses who share their vivid memories of “Wild Bill” Hickok, Stagecoach Mary, Butch Cassidy, Bass Reeves, and other remarkable characters of the Old West. As they tell their stories, a bygone age of hardship and lawlessness is brought to life when fearless lawmen rode tall in the saddle and vicious criminals fought to escape justice.

Tonight is the series premiere of The Nevers on HBO at 9/8c. In August 1896 Victorian London is rocked to its foundations by a supernatural event which gives certain people – mostly women – abnormal abilities, from the wondrous to the disturbing. But no matter their particular “turns,” all who belong to this new underclass are in grave danger. It falls to mysterious, quick-fisted widow Amalia True (Laura Donnelly, Outlander) and brilliant young inventor Penance Adair (Ann Skelly, Vikings) to protect and shelter these gifted “orphans.” To do so, they will have to face the brutal forces determined to annihilate their kind.

Tonight is also the series premiere of The People v. The Klan on CNN at 9/8c followed by a new episode at 10/9c. The four-part docuseries tells the little-known true story of Beulah Mae Donald, a Black mother in Alabama, who took down the Ku Klux Klan after the brutal murder and lynching of her son, Michael Donald. He was just nineteen years old when he was found dead, hanging from a tree in Mobile, on March 21, 1981. The local Black community immediately suspected it was a Klan lynching, but local law enforcement was slow to acknowledge that the murder was racially motivated. Beulah Mae and local Black leaders refused to back down until Michael’s killers and the hateful organization they belonged to were brought to justice. The People V. The Klan explores the systems that allowed the Klan to operate unfettered for so long and the activists of the Civil Rights movement who dismantled the Klan’s hold on the nation. Beulah Mae Donald ultimately brought a massive lawsuit against the United Klans of America and successfully brought the hate group to their financial knees. Through interviews with key figures in the Donald story, the Civil Rights movement, and the modern movement for racial justice, the series confronts the past’s inextricable link to the present-day discord in America. The series shines a light on the too-often marginalized agents of change in our society: The Black mothers of the movement, alongside the activists and attorneys who fight for racial equality in America.

Finally, tonight is the series premiere of Food Truck Rehab on Food Network at 11/10c. Food trucks are popular across America, but running a successful food truck isn’t an easy road, and most hit a dead end soon after opening. No one knows this better than entrepreneurs Sabin Lomac and Jim Tselikis, cousins and owners of Cousins Maine Lobster, a multimillion dollar food truck empire. Using their expertise and insight, the cousins help struggling food truckers before they’re derailed for good. Sabin and Jim make over everything from the truck to the menu while rehabilitating the business and relationship between owners, too.

Tonight is the series premiere of Pray, Obey, Kill on HBO at 9/8c, followed by a 2nd at 9:58/8:58c. The five-part documentary series revisits a complex Swedish murder case from 2004 that gained global attention. On a cold night in January 2004, gunshots rang out across the remote Swedish village of Knutby, home to a small, tight-knit Pentecostal congregation, leaving a young woman murdered in her bed and her neighbor suffering from multiple bullet wounds. Attention soon turned towards the community: the victim’s husband (also the sect’s pastor), the victim’s 26-year-old nanny, and the sect’s leader known as “The Bride of Christ.” The case gained instant international notoriety when the nanny confessed within days, claiming she was told to commit the acts of violence through a series of text messages from God. What soon emerged, however, was a tale of a scandalous love triangle and details of another suspicious death that had occurred years before. Behind it all were the mysterious actions of the sect’s leader who exerted an increasingly powerful pull over her congregation. Tracing the chilling events of January 10, 2004, and the resulting police investigation, criminal trial, and its aftermath, Pray, Obey, Kill highlights investigative journalists Anton Berg and Martin Johnson’s meticulous re-examination of the case. Their investigation includes in-depth interviews with journalists and police investigators who covered the crimes, as well as former members of the Pentecostal sect, some of whom are speaking for the first time about the psychological and physical abuse they suffered.

Overnight was the series premiere of Restaurant Recovery on Discovery+. Restaurateur and philanthropist Todd Graves is rolling up his sleeves to help struggling restaurant owners recover from the COVID-19 pandemic in the new series Restaurant Recovery, streaming exclusively on Discovery+ with double-episodes available each week. As founder and CEO of the popular restaurant chain Raising Cane’s(R) Chicken Fingers, Todd brings his deep industry knowledge and undeniable passion for helping the community and restaurants in need through 10 episodes, with Todd and his team working directly with local owners that are struggling to hang on, by providing creative ideas and hands-on renovations to bring the restaurants back to glory. Along the way, Todd also has some high-profile friends lend a hand, including multi-hyphenates Nelly and Snoop Dogg, actor Rob Schneider, football’s Archie Manning, Roquan Smith and Michael Thomas, the Rebirth Brass Band, Grammy-Award winning group La Mafia, and basketball legend Shaquille O’Neal.

Overnight was the series premiere of Spy City on AMC+. The espionage Cold War series follows the awful dilemma faced by the English spy Fielding Scott (Dominic Cooper, Preacher, Captain America: The First Avenger), as he is sent to Berlin in 1961 on a mission to find out the source of the leak of vital security information. The Russians, it seems, know everything. Someone in Berlin is giving away all the secrets of the Western – American, British, and French – powers. Fielding has been given possibly the hardest job in the world: clean up Berlin. He must find out who the traitor is and expose, arrest, or eliminate that person. Along with Cooper, Spy City stars Romane Portail (Sense8), Leonie Benesch (The Crown) and Johanna Wokalek (Tatort).

Overnight was the series premiere of Wahl Street on HBO Max. The 6-episode documentary series offers fans a glimpse into global star Mark Wahlberg’s life as he juggles the demands of a rigorous film schedule coupled with an ever-growing network of diverse businesses including his clothing line, Municipal; his gym studio, F45; restaurant chain Wahlburgers and his production company, Unrealistic Ideas. Along the way, viewers will learn powerful business and life lessons as he navigates the numerous challenges of a global pandemic, all while trying to maintain and expand his vast portfolio. Wahl Street will also introduce the cast of colorful characters that make up Wahlberg’s real-life entourage.

Tonight was the series premiere of Joseline’s Cabaret: Miami on WE at 10/9c. Season one, consisting of seven hour-long episodes, follows Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta superstar alum Joseline Hernandez in her hometown of Miami, as she creates a sensual cabaret featuring her own original music and a group of dancers who aren’t quite ready to fall in line just yet. The “Puerto Rican Princess” faces her biggest professional challenge to date, all while juggling life as a mother, fiancé, mogul, and music artist.

Finally, tonight is the complete first season premiere of Frank of Ireland on Amazon at 12:01AM/11:01PMc. This a physical and ridiculous brand of humor with an original twist. Brian Gleeson (Peaky Blinders, The Bisexual), stars as Frank Marron, a 32-year-old catastrophe; a misanthropic fantasist in arrested development who’s convinced that the world owes him. He’s also our hero. Frank is newly single and still lives at home with his mother, Mary (Pom Boyd, Rosie). He’s a self-proclaimed musician with a tenuous hold on reality, and hasn’t written a song or played a gig in years. His ex-girlfriend Áine (Sarah Greene, Dublin Murders) has just found a new boyfriend, and Frank may be finding that a tad difficult. Luckily, Frank has a loyal best friend, Doofus, (Domhnall Gleeson, Star Wars: The Force Awakens) whose full-time job is clearing the debris left in Frank’s wake. Set in an idyllic suburb of Dublin, Frank of Ireland is the hilarious story of a man’s hapless search for respect, as he struggles to grow up and get his life together, and hopefully not burn everything to the ground in the process.

Overnight was the series premiere of Big Shot on Disney+. After getting ousted from his job in the NCAA for throwing a chair at a referee, a hothead men’s basketball coach Marvyn Korn must take a job at Westbrook School for Girls, a private all-girls high school, in an effort to redeem what’s left of his career and reputation. At first, Marvyn sees the Westbrook players as just X’s and O’s, as a mere pitstop on his road back to college ball. At the same time, the girls don’t take themselves seriously as a team, and the Westbrook community as a whole is nothing but hostile toward him. The unemotional and stoic Marvyn Korn soon learns that teenage girls are complicated human beings who require more than just tough love and two-a-days–they need real mentorship and genuine care. By discovering how to connect with his players and by cultivating more empathy and vulnerability, Coach Korn starts to grow into the man he’s always secretly hoped to be… and the father he never had. Meanwhile, the girls learn to take themselves more seriously, rising to Marvyn’s standards of excellence and finding their footing both on and off the court. The show stars John Stamos, Jessalyn Gilsig, Yvette Nicole Brown, Richard Robichaux, Sophia Mitri Schloss, Cricket Wampler, Tiana Le, Tisha Custodio, & Nell Verlque.

Overnight was the complete first season premiere of Earth Moods on Disney+. A visual and soundscape experience, the series takes viewers on the ultimate retreat — transporting them to a vast array of colorful and calming corners of the world. Viewers travel to blue glaciers, arid deserts, lush rainforests and pulsating metropolises to escape from the cacophony of everyday life. With an original score produced by Neil Davidge, known for “Massive Attack” as well as collaborations with Snoop Dogg and David Bowie, each “mood” gives the audience an opportunity to relax and reset as the sound of music and the natural world washes over them.

Overnight was the complete first season premiere of Why Are You Like This on Netflix. Three best friends negotiate work, fun, identity politics, hookups and wild nights out in this razor-sharp satire of 20-something life in Melbourne. It stars Naomi Higgins, Olivia Junkeer, & Wil King.
