Overnight was the series premiere of Kevin Can F**K Himself on AMC+, along with a second new episode. The show follows the story of Allison McRoberts (Annie Murphy), a woman we all grew up believing we knew: the prototypical Sitcom Wife. She’s beautiful and can take a joke (though she’s usually the butt of them). And she’s married to a guy who must’ve won some sort of marriage lottery, because she looks the way she does and he’s…funny. But what happens when we follow Allison out of her husband’s domain? When she finally wakes up to — and revolts against — the injustices in her life? Kevin Can F**K Himself breaks television convention and blends multi-camera comedy with single-camera realism to make us ask: “who and what have we been laughing at all of these years?” It also stars Alex Bonifer, Brian Howe, Eric Peterson, Mary Hollis Inboden, & Raymond Lee.

Tonight is the series premiere of Murder Nation on HLN at 9/8c, followed by a 2nd new episode at 10/9c. This new investigation docu-series puts a spotlight on deadly crimes that are unique to particular locales in the United States. Airing with two, one-hour, back-to-back episodes each week, each season of Murder Nation focuses on the crimes that are distinct to one U.S. region, whether it is bodies that turn up in swamps in the Bayou, killers stalking the sandy beaches of the Jersey Shore, victims lusting for fame in the Hollywood Hills, or screams lost in the cold Alaskan tundra. The series illuminates what connects these crimes to their environments and what makes them so uniquely American.

Tonight is the series premiere of Blindspotting on Starz at 9/8c. The new comedy picks up six months after the 2018 film and centers on Ashley, who is nipping at the heels of a middle-class life in Oakland until Miles, her partner of 12 years and father of their son, is suddenly incarcerated, leaving her to navigate a chaotic and humorous existential crisis when she is forced to move in with Miles’ mother and half-sister. It stars Jasmine Cephas Jones, Rafael Casal, Atticus Woodward, Benjamin Earl Turner, Helen Hunt, & Jaylen Barron.

Tonight is the complete first season premiere of Rurangi on Hulu at 12:01AM/11:01PMc. After skipping town a decade ago, transgender activist Caz Davis returns to the remote, politically divided dairy community of RÅ«rangi, hoping to reconnect with his estranged father, who hasn’t heard from him since before Caz transitioned.

Overnight was the complete first season premiere of The Real Manhunter on Acorn TV. DCI Colin Sutton spent 30 years in Britain’s police force, a career that saw him lead many of the most high-profile and successful murder investigations of his generation, including the serial killer case behind the hit drama Manhunt. In this docuseries, Sutton revisits cases he led and explores everything from the crime itself through to the breakthrough moment when the suspect was arrested.

Tonight is the series premiere of The Republic of Sarah on The CW at 9/8c. The bucolic tranquility of Greylock, New Hampshire, is upended when a massive vein of coltan — an incredibly valuable mineral used in tech — is discovered under the town. State-backed mining company Lydon Industries swoops in with plans to extract the mineral…plans that include wiping Greylock off the map. With her friends and family in danger of losing their homes, rebellious high school teacher Sarah Cooper (Stella Baker) vows to stop Lydon’s bulldozers. It won’t be easy. Leading Lydon’s efforts is Sarah’s estranged brother, Danny Cooper (Luke Mitchell). After enduring a difficult childhood at the hands of his mother, former state senator Ellen Cooper (Megan Follows), Danny is eager to exact his revenge on a community he feels abandoned him. Sarah enlists her friends — fellow teacher Corinne Dearborn (Hope Lauren), police officer Amy “AJ” Johnson (Nia Holloway), and diner manager Grover Simms (Ian Duff) — in the fight against Danny, but there seems to be no way to stop the town’s impending demise… Until Sarah proposes an oddly intriguing solution: Greylock could declare independence. Citing various historical maps, she explains that the land on which Greylock sits was never properly claimed by the United States. If Sarah and her friends can convince the town to vote for independence, Greylock would gain international sovereignty and could protect its land for good. With the help of a group of supporters that includes three of her teenage students — LA transplant Maya Jimenez (Izabella Alvarez), introspective outsider Tyler Easterbrook (Forrest Goodluck), and preppy “popular girl” Bella Whitmore (Landry Bender) — Sarah and her friends win the vote. And after a federal judge agrees that Greylock isn’t — and never was — part of the United States, the town becomes a new nation. Now, Sarah and her allies must confront an even more daunting task: building a country from scratch.

Tonight is also the series premiere of The Celebrity Dating Game on ABC at 10/9c. Hosted by actress and singer-songwriter Zooey Deschanel and multiple GRAMMY-winning singer-songwriter Michael Bolton, the show offers a wry wink at modern dating with a star-studded roster of celebrity singles from television, music, comedy, reality TV, and feature film in their pursuit to find love. Offering the same iconic feel as the original classic dating show, each episode follows two celebrities who each pick one lucky suitor from a hidden panel of three bachelors and/or bachelorettes based on answers to a variety of questions. But there’s a twist! The celebrity identities will remain a mystery to their suitors, who are given clues via hilarious parody song performances by host Michael Bolton.

Tonight is the premiere of the first three episodes of Physical on AppleTV+ at 12:01AM/11:01PMc. Set in the idyllic but fragile beach paradise of sunny 1980s San Diego, Physical is a half-hour dark comedy following Sheila Rubin (Rose Byrne), a quietly tortured, seemingly dutiful housewife supporting her smart but controversial husband’s bid for state assembly. But behind closed doors, Sheila has her own darkly funny take on life she rarely lets the world see. She’s also battling a complex set of personal demons relating to her self-image… That is, until she finds release through the unlikeliest source: the world of aerobics. At first hooked on the exercise itself, Sheila’s real road to empowerment comes when she discovers a way to merge this newfound passion with the burgeoning technology of videotape to start a revolutionary business. The series tracks her epic journey from a stifled, overlooked enabler to a powerful, confident economic force, as Sheila transforms into someone we take for granted today (but was entirely radical at the time) – the female lifestyle guru. In addition to Byrne, Physical stars Rory Scovel, Dierdre Friel, Della Saba, Lou Taylor Pucci, Paul Sparks and Ashley Liao.

From Executive Producers Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Deborah Morales comes Fight the Power: The Movements that Changed America. Through Abdul-Jabbar’s unique and personal lens as a social justice advocate and observer, we look at the movements, the moments and the legendary leaders of some of this country’s most pivotal public protests and how they have shaped our society, laws and culture. From the birth of the labor movement and women’s suffrage to the fight for civil rights, LGTBQ+ equality and the Black Lives Matter movement, protest is in the American DNA and this documentary gives an unfiltered look at the ways it has evolved the world in which we live.
