Tonight is the series premiere of Legends of the Hidden Temple on The CW at 8/7c. This supersized, adult version of the classic 90s Nickelodeon game show is taken out of the studio into a “jungle” and scaled up with tougher challenges and much bigger prizes on the line. It preserves the original Nickelodeon series’ favorite elements including: “Olmec” (the giant talking Mayan head), the”Moat Crossings,” “The Steps of Knowledge,” the “Temple Run,” and of course, the iconic team names: “Purple Parrots,” “Blue Barracudas,” “Orange Iguanas,” “Red Jaguars,” “Silver Snakes,” and “Green Monkeys.” Every episode is a hero’s journey through a mysterious jungle. Five teams begin the journey, but only one is “strong enough and smart enough” to enter the ominous Olmec’s Temple, avoid the “dreaded” Temple Guards, retrieve a lost treasure, and return it to its rightful owner.

Tonight is the series premiere of Renovation, Inc: Home Sweet Home on HGTV at 8/7c. The limited series will showcase the Baeumlers’ humorous look back on this chapter in their life as Bryan spearheaded construction efforts on the family home and Sarah juggled her roles as wife, mother and chief designer who transformed their new house into a home.

Tonight is the series premiere of Buried on Showtime at 9/8c. In January 1989, in a flash Eileen Franklin recalled being eight years old and witnessing the rape and murder of her best friend, Susan Nason. She also remembered the identity of the murderer – it was Eileen’s own father, George Franklin. The ensuing trial was the first criminal case based on a repressed memory, and it raised questions and issues that continue to challenge the reliability of memory and of criminal testimony to this day. Eileen Franklin’s memories were terrifying beyond imagining… but were they true beyond a reasonable doubt?

Tonight is the series premiere of Diana on CNN at 9/8c. The docuseries re-examines the life of an icon through the lens of modernity: reframing her story to discover the real woman behind the “People’s Princess.” Drawing on a new generation of voices, including interviews from those close to her, the series is a fresh take that reveals a princess unlike any other. A woman more complex than history has acknowledged and a feminist role model who showed vulnerability and strength, Diana was truly a blueprint for the modern woman.

Tonight is the series premiere of The Engineering That Built the World on History Channel at 9/8c. An extension of the network’s popular “That Built” franchise, the eight one-hour episode series will highlight the brilliant, sometimes ruthless, visionaries behind the world’s most important engineering feats such as the Transcontinental Railroad, the Panama Canal, the Statue of Liberty, the Hoover Dam and more. The series follows the insurmountable challenges and high-stakes scenarios faced by some of the world’s boldest innovators. Can you imagine a world where traveling across the country takes months and puts your life in danger? Or where sending a message across the Atlantic Ocean takes weeks instead of seconds? Where major cities like Los Angeles, Phoenix and Las Vegas barely exist? Featuring dramatic recreations, cinematic visual effects, surprising new facts and expert insight from historians and the public figures who oversee today’s largest infrastructure efforts, the series sheds light on how these ambitious yet brilliant engineering innovations shaped our nation and built the better world we know today.

Tonight is the series premiere of Killer Camp on The CW at 9/8c. This is a British–American game show produced by Tuesday’s Child Television. The series’ first season aired on ITV2 as a Halloween Special 2019, on the five consecutive nights leading up to Halloween.[1] After licensing the first season in Summer 2020, The CW commissioned a second season of the series in March 2021, resulting in it moving to the network as an original. The new U.S. version of KILLER CAMP will return to “Camp Pleasant” as a mix of 13 unlucky American and British campers navigate through new deadly twists and surprises while competing to expose the “killer” among them for a share of the $50,000 cash prize. Each night, one of them will be viciously dispatched by camp handyman Bruce, who’s back with counselor Bobby (comedian Bobby Mair), and a whole host of surprises and hilariously elaborate new murders.

Tonight is the series premiere of When Big Things Go Wrong on History Channel at 10/9c. Modern technology allows us to build incredible structures like giant tankers, mammoth skyscrapers and colossal bridges. But, with enormous size comes enormous risk, and when big things go wrong, they go really wrong. This new series examines the catastrophic result of some of the world’s worst engineering disasters caught on tape. Each episode breaks down shocking footage from collapses and collisions to reveal the shocking answers to the question, what happened? Woven together through innovative graphics, eyewitness accounts and expert knowledge, the series unravels the mystery behind these destructive moments and their lasting worldwide impact.
