Overnight was the series premiere of 1883 on Paramount+, along with a 2nd new episode. A Yellowstone origin story, the series follows the Dutton family as they embark on a journey west through the Great Plains toward the last bastion of untamed America. 1883 is a stark retelling of Western expansion, and an intense study of one family fleeing poverty to seek a better future in America’s promised land — Montana. Tonight is the holiday movie Christmas Takes Flight on CBS at 8/7c. A holiday battle of wills between pilot Jenny Beckett (Katie Lowes) and Matt Connor (Evan Williams), a number-crunching CEO who purchases Jenny’s family-owned, regional airline. Matt’s cost-cutting initiatives threaten Christmas when he cancels the airline’s annual holiday charitable benefit for underserved children. Determined to show Matt that the sweetest things in life are worth any price, Jenny rallies the community to help save the event and unexpectedly finds herself falling for the magnate in the process. It also stars Andrew Airlie, Erik Gow, Keisha Haines, & Kyra Leroux.
 
Tonight is the holiday movie Joy for Christmas on GAC Family at 8/7c. When her family firm’s annual Christmas toy drive is in jeopardy, Holly must convince pro athlete Jack Kane to be the public face of the campaign to help save it. It stars Cindy Busby & Sam Page.
 
Tonight is a 1-hour special, Patti LaBelle’s Holiday Party, on TV One at 8/7c. Patti LaBelle invites viewers over to her house for some great food, delicious desserts and her famous holiday punch; Patti ends the night on a high note with a little performance around the tree and piano.
 
Tonight is the holiday movie ‘Tis the Season to Be Merry on Hallmark at 8/7c. Looking for a fresh angle to her book on relationships, Merry heads to snow covered Vermont. She finds a new perspective and Christmas cheer with charismatic aid worker Chris. It stars Karen Malina White, Rachael Leigh Cook, & Travis Van Winkle.
 
Tonight is the holiday movie Under the Christmas Tree on Lifetime at 8/7c. Marketing whiz Alma Beltran (Elise Bauman) and Christmas tree whisperer Charlie Freemont (Tattiawna Jones) cross paths when Charlie finds the perfect tree for the Maine Governor’s Holiday Celebration – right in Alma’s back yard. While they initially spar, romantic sparks soon begin to fly between the two women as the enchanting tree and some Christmas fairy dust from the town’s pâtissière extraordinaire (Ricki Lake) bring out the best in them and spark each other to take leaps of faith and fight for love and Christmas magic.

Tonight is the series premiere of Tough Love with Hilary Farr on HGTV at 9/8c. Renowned designer Hilary Farr is challenged by families whose dysfunctional houses are putting a strain on their relationships. Hilary uses creative design solutions with a dash of tough love to renovate their spaces and get these families back on track.

Overnight was the US premiere of the holiday special A Berry Royal Christmas on Acorn TV. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge join forces with cookery legend, Mary Berry, as she accompanies them on four special visits. Throughout the program, Mary cooks some of her favorite Christmas recipes for viewers to try out at home as she helps prepare the festive food for a very royal event to thank all those working and volunteering over the Christmas period.
 
Overnight was the US premiere of the holiday special Agatha Raisin: Kissing Christmas Goodbye on Acorn TV. Agatha Raisin (Ashley Jensen, Catastrophe, Ricky Gervais’ After Life) is hired to protect a woman from her ghosts of Christmas past, but when she’s found dead, Agatha has a murder investigation on her hands, with everyone in the village a would-be suspect – including the woman’s children. Co-starring Mathew Horne (Gavin and Stacey).
 
Tonight is the holiday movie Candy Cane Candidate on Lifetime at 8/7c. Natural-born leader, Julia (Jacky Lai), returns to her hometown of North Falls for Christmas to drown her sorrows in eggnog, cookies, and Yuletide after her recent political campaign for city council ended in a landslide loss. It’s the perfect place for Julia’s holiday escape – until she realizes coming home means running into her old high school rival, Parker (Jake Epstein), the arrogant know-it-all who beat her in a race for senior class president. When the North Falls mayor resigns, the town holds an emergency election, and Julia and Parker find themselves once again facing off. But as Julia and Parker campaign their way through the Christmas season and plan a toy drive together, Julia begins to see a different side of Parker, and the ice between them slowly begins to thaw. Tonight is the premiere of the feature film Behind the Ricardos on Amazon at 12:01AM/11:01PMc. During one production week of I Love Lucy — from Monday table read through Friday audience taping — Lucille Ball (Nicole Kidman) and Desi Arnaz (Javier Bardem) face a series of personal and professional crises that threaten their show, their careers and their marriage, in writer-director Aaron Sorkin’s behind-the-scenes drama.

Overnight was the comedy stand-up special Jim Gaffigan: Comedy Monster on Netflix. Comedy icon Jim Gaffigan offers some thoughts on the hot mess that was 2021, as well as his takes on marching bands, billionaires in space and more.
 
Tonight is a 2-hour special, Hubble: Thirty Years of Discovery, on Science Channel at 8/7c. The Hubble Space Telescope has made revolutionary cosmic discoveries for over 30 years; NASA astronauts finally reveal the secret history behind the life-or-death missions that have kept this extraordinary machine in operation.
 
Tonight is the holiday movie The Christmas Ball on Lifetime at 8/7c. When lead ballerina Clare Fitzgerald (Deidre Mullins) is let go before the Christmas season’s Nutcracker, she’s beyond devastated and jumps at the opportunity to visit her Aunt Bridget (Caroline Langrishe) in England during the holidays. Once there, she meets Liam (Nick Hendrix), a local professor and historian who is helping Aunt Bridget preserve the family manor. Clare discovers that Christmas Regency balls were once held at the manor, prompting Aunt Bridget to propose they hold a ball as part of Liam’s presentation to the preservation society. As Clare and Liam work together, the two also waltz into a new romance.
 
Tonight is the premiere of the feature film Song & Story: Amazing Grace on OWN at 9/8c. Song & Story is a new collection of movies inspired by seminal songs known as anthems for womanhood. Iconic songs and lyrics will lay the creative foundation for these original movies filled with uplifting stories of women on their spiritual journeys to emotional triumph. The first in the series, Song & Story: Amazing Grace, shines a light on the themes of challenge and triumph that ring true in the hymn. The story centers on Tanner, portrayed by Bresha Webb, a talented artist battling tremendous obstacles who forms an unlikely friendship with Iris, portrayed by Getenesh Berhe, an optimistic store owner who guides Tanner towards the forgiveness of a painful past to unlock the strength she holds within herself. The two women will find out that their paths are intertwined, and a surprising connection is revealed. It also stars Karen Clark Sheard.

Tonight is the holiday movie It Takes a Christmas Village on Lifetime at 8/7c. In order to make the town’s Christmas market a reality, Mayor Alex Foster (Brooke Nevin) must convince the reclusive Darcy Hawkins (Corey Sevier) to loan out his family’s historic mill, which is no easy task thanks to a long-running family feud. But as Alex slowly chips away at Darcy’s frosty exterior, their feelings grow beyond the interest of the town, leading this unlikely duo to the prospect of love. It also stars Alli Chung.

Overnight was the complete limited series premiere of Vigil on Peacock. A family explores different eras of fashion, lifestyle and culinary habits. Starting in 1940 in Canada and finished in 1990s, the seven part series features the Campus family, mother Tristan, a registered nurse, father Aaron, a multimedia designer, 18-year-old daughter Valerie, 17-year-old daughter Jessica and 15-year-old son Robert.

    I think you have Naruto and Boruto confused. Naruto Shippuden has been over and done with for a few years now. Boruto is the sequel which is currently airing.

      I would swear that’s what both my sources keep saying, although they aren’t new this week, even though both sources said they were last weekend when I did the schedule. lol I’ll try to double check after the new year. 🙂
