Tonight is the series premiere of The BMF Documentary: Blowing Money Fast on Starz at 10:02/9:02c. The limited event series will cover the full arc of the BMF story, from the Flenory family’s rise in the early ’80s in Detroit, through the peak years during the late 90’s and early aughts, to the end of their reign in 2006, up to present day. This is a limited event, half-hour episodic documentary series about the infamous Black Mafia Family, as told by former members, insiders, associates, and celebrity figures close to the family. From Detroit corner boys, to notorious drug kingpins, and hip hop kingmakers, the eight-part docuseries will chart the meteoric rise and fall of BMF founders: Demetrius “Big Meech” and Terry “Southwest T” Flenory, two brothers who built one of the largest cocaine empires in American history. The fabled story spans four decades across five major U.S. cities, immersing viewers in a network of crisscrossing relationships between crime, hip hop, and law enforcement. The series affords viewers exclusive access inside all the epic family feuds, high stakes drug deals, suspicious murders, and champagne drenched parties attended by hip-hop royalty. The docuseries features exclusive access to the Flenory Brothers and former BMF members, while journalists and consultants close to the key players provide the production authenticity, historical, and cultural context. Additionally, the series will feature exclusive interviews, never-before-seen archival footage, original vÃ©ritÃ© footage, celebrity interviews, and original impressionistic imagery inspired by first-hand accounts.

Tonight is the UPtv movie Star-Crossed Romance at 7/6c. After a disagreement between her son and another student, single-mother Piper is teamed up with that student’s handsome single-father to stage the school play, Romeo and Juliet. Piper must get past her ego, face her feelings, and figure out how to operate a hot-glue gun – all before opening night! It stars Aliyah O’Brien & Andrew Zachar.

Tonight is a 125-minute “The Power of the Doctor” special for Doctor Who on BBC America at 8/7c. The Thirteenth Doctor must fight for her very existence, against her deadliest enemies, the Daleks, the Cybermen and her arch-nemesis, the Master.

Tonight is the Hallmark movie A Kismet Christmas at 8/7c. Sarah is a children’s book author who returns to her hometown, where she reconnects with her family and Travis, her teenage crush. She soon discovers that a long-held family legend might actually be true. It stars Carlo Marks, Marilu Henner, & Sarah Ramos.

Tonight is a 2-hour special, The Freeway Killer: Lost Murder Tapes, on ID at 9/8c. In 1970s California, a serial killer dumps young boys’ bodies along the freeways; an L.A. street reporter on the case receives information that embroils him in the dilemma of a lifetime.

Tonight is the series premiere of Surreal Life on VH1 at 9/8c. The original celebrity social experiment is back! Eight wildly different celebrities will live together for a once in a lifetime surreal experience that will put their temperaments and vulnerabilities to the test, pushing these stars to unmask themselves in the most unfiltered and unpredictable ways. This season’s cast is August Alsina, CJ Perry, Dennis Rodman, Frankie Muniz, Kim Coles, Manny MUA, Stormy Daniels, & Tamar Braxton.

Overnight was the feature film premiere of Mid-Century on Peacock. Looking for a change one weekend, ER doctor Alice and her husband Tom rent a glamourous mid-century modern home designed by architect Frederick Banner. As they investigate the home, they learn that Banner and his two wives died mysteriously – yet their spirits are very much alive. As they meet Banner’s deranged son, they realize they must escape the home or succumb to its madness. Overnight was the documentary special Fugitive: The Curious Case of Carlos Ghosn on Netflix. From his rise as a business mogul to his plummet into international notoriety, this true crime documentary examines the bizarre story of Carlos Ghosn.

Overnight was the feature film premiere of The Good Nurse on Netflix. An overburdened ICU nurse leans on her selfless new colleague at work and at home — until a patient’s unexpected death casts him in a suspicious light. It stars Eddie Redmayne, Jessica Chastain, Nnamdi Asomugha, Noah Emmerich, Kim Dickens, Malik Yoba, Alix West Lefler.

Tonight is an 85-minute HBO special, A Tree of Life: The Pittsburgh Synagogue Shooting, at 9/8c. On Oct. 27, 2018, a white supremacist walks into Pittsburgh’s Tree of Life Synagogue with four semi automatic assault weapons and murders 11 congregants as they pray. The survivors and victims’ family members bring the terror into focus.
