Tonight is the series premiere of A Kind of Spark on BYUtv at 9/8c, followed by a 2nd new episode at 9:20/8:20c. For autistic teen Addie (Lola Blue), every day is a challenge as she juggles school and friends with the added complexities of being neurodivergent. But when she discovers a centuries-old mystery within her town, Addie finds her voice and lets her light shine as she stands up for those who were persecuted for being different like her. A Kind of Spark celebrates the differences that make us unique and enrich our lives. While the series shines a light on the everyday lives of neurodivergent individuals, it also explores the timely and timeless themes of family unity, loyalty, faith in oneself, and hope in the face of insurmountable odds. This is the powerful live-action adaptation of the award-winning novel by neurodivergent author Elle McNicoll, set in both the present day and the 16th century.

Tonight is the complete limited series premiere of Pretty Baby: Brooke Shields on Hulu at 12:01AM/11:01PMc. The two-part documentary is a galvanizing look at actor, model and icon Brooke Shields as she transforms from a sexualized young girl to a woman discovering her power. Holding a mirror up to a society that objectifies women and girls, her story shows the perils and triumphs of gaining agency in a hostile world.

Tonight is the series premiere of Violent Minds: Killers on Tape on Oxygen at 8/7c, followed by a 2nd new episode at 9/8c. The series explores the captivating inmate tapes of renowned psychiatrist Dr. Al Carlisle, that were previously thought to be lost to history. Recording his conversations with some of America’s most heinous killers, these tapes helped him discover what drives a seemingly normal person to become obsessed with murder, exhibit violent tendencies and psychopathic behaviors.

Tonight is the 68-minute series premiere of Race to Survive Alaska on USA Network at 11/10c. The rules are simple, but survival isn’t. Set along the wild and dangerous Alaskan coastline, adventure racers and survival experts must endure more than 100 miles of inhospitable terrain with nothing but what they can carry to claim a life-changing $500,000 prize. Contestants must utilize a combination of endurance racing, primitive survival skills and bushcraft as they navigate the mostly unchartered wilderness with sprawling mountain ranges, ancient glaciers, threatening wildlife and suffocating rainforests. The stakes couldn’t be higher for the teams as they race across unforgiving land in the ultimate test of person verses nature, where winning is the goal, but survival is the challenge. Over the course of six weeks and six races, the eight teams of two will traverse through the harshest Alaskan landscapes, having to source their own food and water while charting their own path on previously unexplored terrain. The duos must survive off the unwelcoming land as they battle every element while being relentlessly pursued by their competition. In each leg of the race, the last team to reach the finish line will be eliminated from the competition. Tested like never before, participants will endure physical pain while forging alliances and backstabbing their way to claim a spot in the finale and the chance to win the $500,000 if they can survive the hostile land … and each other. The eight elite teams participating include father-son duos, mentor-mentees, siblings, couples, and new and old friends that all share a competitive edge, grit, and determination.

Drafted to the NBA straight out of high school at just 19 years old, J.R. suddenly finds himself without an NBA team to call home and in search of redefining his life and career. The series picks up with J.R. as he sets a new intention for himself, getting a college education and pursuing a new athletic passion as a member of the Men’s Golf Team at North Carolina A&T, the nation’s largest Historically Black University.

Overnight was the complete first season premiere of The Crossover on Disney+. Based on the critically-acclaimed best-selling novel in-verse by Kwame Alexander, The Crossover introduces teen brothers Josh and Jordan Bell, widely considered basketball phenoms. Through his lyrical poetry, an adult version of Josh, aka Filthy McNasty, narrates the story of he and his brother’s coming of age, on and off the court, as their former professional basketball player father adjusts to life after basketball, and their mother finally pursues lifelong dreams of her own. The series stars Jalyn Hall, Amir O’Neil, Sabrina Revelle, Derek Luke, Deja Monique, Trevor Bush, Skyla I’Lece, Daveed Diggs, & Jalyn Hall.

Overnight was the complete first season premiere of Hullraiser on Sundance Now & AMC+. The laugh-out-loud British sitcom Hullraiser is adapted from the Israeli sitcom Little Mom. The series also begins tonight on IFC at 11/10c, with episodes airing weekly.

Tonight is the series premiere of Dr. Down Below on TLC at 10/9c. I couldn’t find a description of the series, but basically it’s a version of Dr. Pimple Popper but for…below the waist. In the series premiere, urologist Dr. Fenwa Milhouse treats a woman suffering from a painful labial cyst; a man struggles with an extra pee hole left by a Prince Albert piercing; a woman has an advanced stage vaginal prolapse.

It also stars Alan Barinholtz, Ben Seaward, Brandon Loeser, Cassandra Blair, David Brown, Edy Modica, Evan Williams, Ishmel Sahid, Kerry O’Neill, Kirk Fox, Maria Russell, Mekki Leeper, Pramode Kumar, Rashida “Sheedz” Olayiwola, Ron Song, Ross Kimball, Susan Berger, Trisha LaFache, & Whitney Rice.

When we first meet Clare, her marriage to her husband Danny (Quentin Plair) is on its last leg. Her daughter, Rae, will barely talk to her. And her once-promising writing career is non-existent. So when an old writing friend suggests she take over as the advice columnist Dear Sugar, she thinks she’s the last person for the job. But after reluctantly agreeing, she realizes that she might just be completely qualified. As the letter writers force Clare to revisit her most pivotal moments – the death of her mother, the fallout with her brother, even some awful sex in the back office of a funeral home – she excavates the beauty, struggle and humor in her own life to show us that we are not beyond rescue, that it’s our stories that can ultimately save us. And maybe even bring us back home.

Tonight is the TV movie The Portable Door on MGM+ at 8/7c. The movie centers on Paul Carpenter (Patrick Gibson) and Sophie Pettingel (Sophie Wilde), lowly, put-upon interns who begin working at the mysterious London firm J.W. Wells & Co., and become increasingly aware that their employers are anything but conventional. Charismatic villains Humphrey Wells (Christoph Waltz), the CEO of the company, and middle manager Dennis Tanner (Sam Neill) are disrupting the world of magic by bringing modern corporate strategy to ancient magical practices, and Paul and Sophie discover the true agenda of the vast corporation.

Tonight is the TV movie The Professional Bridesmaid on Hallmark at 8/7c. Years ago, Maggie Bailey (Hunter King) realized she had a particular skill set for being an ace bridesmaid – and she went pro. Now she uses her talents to help brides navigate the tricky emotional and social dynamics that go along with planning their big day in addition to the practical. Her latest client, Alexis Shepard (Francesca Bianchi), is the daughter of Columbus’ Mayor who is up for reelection. Alexis’ wedding promises to be the event of the summer with lots of scrutiny, so the mayor’s team hires Maggie to join the bridal party and help keep everything on track. But no one can know that Maggie is a hired bridesmaid, so she is introduced as Alexis’ old friend Maisie. Unfortunately, Henry Whittington (Chandler Massey), an ambitious local reporter assigned to the society story is sniffing around hoping to get close to the mayor for a scoop on the pending development of local park land. To pull off her assignment, Maggie must coordinate three unhelpful bridesmaids, and keep Henry focused on the wedding while hiding her identity, even as she begins to grow closer to him.
