Tonight is the series premiere of Fellow Travelers on Showtime at 9/8c. Based on the novel by Thomas Mallon, Fellow Travelers is an epic love story and political thriller, chronicling the volatile romance of two very different men who meet in McCarthy-era Washington. Matt Bomer plays handsome, charismatic Hawkins Fuller, who maintains a financially rewarding, behind-the scenes career in politics. Hawkins avoids emotional entanglements – until he meets Tim Laughlin (Jonathan Bailey), a young man brimming with idealism and religious faith. They begin a romance just as Joseph McCarthy and Roy Cohn declare war on “subversives and sexual deviants,” initiating one of the darkest periods in 20th-century American history. Questions continue to arise about the cult-like vibes of the controversial community, but this spring is different. Cameras have been granted unprecedented access to The Garden, documenting its spread to new locations deep in the Ozarks. Overnight was the complete limited series premiere of Mayflies on Acorn TV. Adapted for TV from Andrew O’Hagan’s bestselling and award-winning “Mayflies: A Novel,” the limited series stars Martin Compston, Tony Curran, Ashley Jensen, Tracy Ifeachor, Rian Gordon, and Tom Glynn-Carney. Overnight was the premiere of the feature film Hell House LLC Origins: The Carmichael Manor on Shudder. A group of cold case investigators stay at the Carmichael Manor, site of the grisly and unsolved murders of the Carmichael family back in the eighties. After four nights, the group was never heard from again. What is discovered on their footage is even more disturbing than anything found on the Hell House tapes. It stars Bridget Rose Perrotta, Destiny Leilani Brown, James Liddell, Gideon Berger, Cayla Berejikian, Victoria Andrunik, & more.
