Overnight was the series premiere of The Feud on Shelbury Drive on Acorn TV. Emma (Jill Halfpenny) and John (Rupert Penry-Jones) live a seemingly idyllic life on Shelbury Drive and are close friends with their neighbors. But when Emma decides to add on to the kitchen in her home, neighbors’ resistance leads to rising tensions as life-threatening secrets emerge, and Emma’s aspirational dream turns sharply into obsession, paranoia, and fear. It also stars Alex McQueen, Amy Nuttall, Jamie-Lee O’Donnell, Larry Lamb, Ray Fearon, & Tessa Peake-Jones.

Tonight is the series premiere of Henry David Thoreau on PBS at 9/8c, followed by a 2nd new episode at 10/9c. The 3-episode series (technically they’re calling it a 3-part, 3-hour documentary film) from Ken Burns examines the life and work of the 19th-century writer in the context of antebellum New England and the larger United States, as well as through the universal themes he focused on in his writings: an individual’s relationship to the state, how to live an authentic life, our connection to nature, and the impact of race on American life. Set against the political and social tensions of the mid-19th century, the film traces Thoreau’s journey from his early days in Concord, Massachusetts to his deep engagement with the moral crises of his time, including industrialization, slavery, war, and environmental degradation. Through his essays, journals, and landmark works such as Walden and Civil Disobedience, he became an inspiration for generations of writers, thinkers, and activists. George Clooney narrates, while Jeff Goldblum voices Thoreau and Ted Danson voices Ralph Waldo Emerson. Other voices include Meryl Streep and Tate Donovan.

Tonight is the series premiere of History’s Greatest Warriors on History Channel at 10:03/9:03c. Warriors aren’t born; they’re built. And every civilization built their warriors in their own way. In this new series, we’ll explore history’s most infamous and deadly warriors by revealing the step-by-step process for creating them. Along the way, each episode will track the rise and fall of each civilization—from the Samurai to the Navy SEAL.

Overnight was the premiere of the documentary film Rory McIlroy: The Masters Wait on Amazon. There are rare moments in sport when time seems to collapse—when years of heartbreak and longing compress into a single breath. For Rory McIlroy, that moment came on No. 18 green at Augusta National Golf Club in April of 2025. After a gripping playoff with Justin Rose, the final putt dropped, and Rory fell to his knees, gasping as though he had been holding his breath for fourteen years. Rory McIlroy: The Masters Wait captures that moment and unpacks the relentless pressure, devastating failures, and unwavering determination that made his triumph so profound—the story of a prodigy who became a champion, was knocked down year after year, and rebuilt himself into one of sport’s most resilient figures. Rory McIlroy: The Masters Wait is centered on Rory’s battle with one of the most storied and revered golf courses in the world: Augusta National, home of the prestigious Masters Tournament. To fans, Augusta National represents golf’s ultimate cathedral—pristine fairways, blooming azaleas, with a Tournament steeped in tradition and glory. But to Rory, Augusta National became a place of fears, failures, and expectations that tormented him for fourteen years. From his devastating 2011 collapse when he blew a four-shot Sunday lead at just 21 years old, to the near misses, disappointments, and outright heartbreaks that followed, Augusta National became his nemesis—the one place that refused to yield even as he conquered the other three major championships: the U.S. Open, the PGA Championship, and The Open. The Masters remained elusive, the missing piece that prevented him from completing golf’s most exclusive achievement, the career Grand Slam. Built around the dramatic final round of the 2025 Masters and unfolding hole by hole, the film is a cinematic battle between man and course, revealing why sport is never just sport, but myth played out in real time.

Tonight is the streaming premiere of The Testament of Ann Lee on Hulu at 12:01AM/11:01PMc. A dramatic retelling of Ann Lee’s rise as the female Christ and founder of the Shaker Movement, spotlighting her radical vision of utopia through faith, song, and dance. It stars Amanda Seyfried, Thomasin McKenzie, Lewis Pullman, Stacy Martin, Tim Blake Nelson, & Christopher Abbott.
