If We Controlled Your Remote… 2/4/11

I can’t believe it’s Friday already. This week seemed to fly by, didn’t it? It’s been a blast having the fabulous Jethro back with us this week, and as always, we loved what he had to contribute. Let’s see what we’re suggesting you watch tonight.

Megan’s Choice

Tonight, I think you should be watching an all new episode of CSI: NY. Out of all the ones in the franchise, I find this one the least cheesy, and I enjoy it every time I watch. I love the dynamics of the team and enjoy watching Mac (Gary Sinise) in action.

On this episode, a tractor-trailer truck carrying a group of party guests is discovered at the bottome of the Hudson River. The CSIs attempt to solve the mystery from the soggy remains.

If We Controlled Your Remote… 2/3/11

Still cold. Great TV tonight. That’s all.

Jenny’s Choice

Only two episodes have aired of USA’s new drama, Fairly Legal, but I’m really really enjoying it so far. I haven’t found any character so far that I hate, which is a nice change, and some (like Kate and her assistant) that I love. I love the dynamic between Kate and her lawyer ex-husband, played by Michael Trucco (Battlestar Galactica — check out our interview), and I hope to see even more between the two.

On tonight’s episode, a judge that dislikes Kate puts her in charge of settling a case between angry parents and a high school coach who is allegedly too rough on his athletes, but after watchign the video evidence, Kate learns the true reasons behind his actions.

If We Controlled Your Remote… 2/2/11

February already, and I’m so jealous of all of you who are in the middle of snow storms! I miss the snow a lot, especially going sledding and then having hot chocolate. Hmm… maybe I’ll have some hot chocolate and curl up and watch my favorite shows instead. Let’s see what we all think you should be watching tonight.

Megan’s Choice

Perhaps I just have a thing for comic book heroes, but lately, I have been loving the new season of Human Target. The addition of the two women has really balanced out the cast and added a whole new layer of comedy. There are only 2 episodes left until the end of season 2, and I hope something big happens, don’t you?

On tonight’s episode, Chance has a reunion with inept private investigator, Harry, when the girlfriend of the owner of a rival security firm needs protection. Meanwhile, Ilsa undergoes a baptism of fire on her first mission; and a case draws two team members closer.

If We Controlled Your Remote… 2/1/11

Brrrrr! It’s COLD here in the midwest! It’s 13 right now and feels like negative 1, and there will be blizzard conditions and ice for at least today. My kid’s got today off school, and if it turns out like they say it will, he will probably be off tomorrow, too. Again, I say, Brrrrr! Let’s see what shows will keep me entertained tonight, assuming we don’t lose power. Eek!

Jenny’s Choice

I would normally pick NCIS, but I’ve been looking forward to tonight’s episode of One Tree Hill all season. The show has been great this season, and I really enjoy it, despite the hatred some people have for it (*cough*Ausiello*cough*). lol My favorite couple on the show has to be Brooke and Julian. They are just too adorable together, and he’s become one of my favorite characters, alongside Brooke herself. Luckily, tonight’s episode centers around them!

On tonight’s episode, the much-anticipated date for Brooke and Julian’s wedding day has finally come to Tree Hill. Some dreams have become a reality, secrets are finally revealed, and the wedding hookups are inevitable for everyone involved.

If We Controlled Your Remote… 1/31/11

Can you believe it’s the last day of January already? These past few months have been flying by! It’s a great week of new television, so let’s see what us girls (and Jethro 😉 ) think you should be watching.

Megan’s Choice

My suggestion tonight is the new drama, Harry’s Law, starring the fabulous Kathy Bates. If you haven’t had a chance to watch this show yet, you are seriously missing out. Bates is amazing in her role as a probate lawyer turned defense attorney. She has taken on cases that no one thought she could win, but she did. She stands up for people who can’t stand up for themselves and I love it.

On tonight’s episode, Harry defends an inmate, whom she believes is unjustly imprisoned for a murder he didn’t commit. Adam risks disbarment for questionable conduct in the Laundromat case.
