If you grew up in or had kids in 2003-2007, chances are you watched That’s So Raven. The show starred Raven-Symone as a Raven Baxter, a teenager who had psychic powers and often froze, starring off into space, when she would get a vision. Her best friends on the show were Chelsea and Eddie, and we also regularly saw her parents, Victor and Tanya, and brother Corey. Now, Raven-Symone is back in Raven’s Home, which centers around adult Raven and Chelsea, both newly divorced with kids of their own. Much like Fuller House, the two women decide to come together to help raise their kids: Raven’s 11-year-old twins, Booker (Issac Ryan Brown, black-ish, Miles from Tomorrowland) and Nia (Navia Robinson, Being Mary Jane), and Chelsea’s 9-year-old son, Levi (Jason Maybaum, Superstore). Their house is also frequented by the twins’ best friend and neighbor, Tess (Sky Katz, America’s Got Talent). Raven’s still seeing the future, but so is her son, Booker, which should make for a fun family dynamic.

I haven’t heard anything about whether or not we’ll see Victor, Tanya, or Corey around, but I do know Eddie (Orlando Brown) won’t be showing up. I’ll be interested to see if the spinoff has as much fun with just Raven, Chelsea, and their kids as the original series did.

On tonight’s episode, “Baxter’s Back!” Booker enlists Levi and Tess to help him convince Nia of his newfound abilities to see into the future. Meanwhile, Raven’s latest vision involves a family disagreement that leads her to meddle in her kids’ life at school.

Catch up on Raven’s & Chelsea’s lives tonight on Disney Channel at 10/9c.

I’ll also be watching/DVRing The Great British Baking Show.

Tonight, AMC kicks off the fun new comedy Loaded. The series follows four guys who become millionaires overnight thanks to the massively popular mobile game they created. While the money gives the guys a whole new outlook on life, it also opens up a lot of new problems. Leon (Samuel Anderson, Doctor Who) is the leader of the group and wants to take some time to enjoy their new windfall, Josh (Jim Howick, Broadchurch) is the serious and practical one who’s looking toward the future, Ewan (Jonny Sweet, Babylon) is the socially awkward programmer, and Watto (Nick Helm, Uncle) is the wild one who just wants to have fun. With their company growing, the guys now find themselves dealing with new employee issues and the demands of American investor Casey (Mary McCormack, In Plain Sight). The series also stars Aimee-Ffion Edwards (Skins, Peaky Blinders), Lolly Adefope (Rovers), and Scarlett Alice Johnson (Pramface).

I really enjoyed tonight’s premiere. This series is a lot of fun and totally feels like the UK equivalent to Silicon Valley — you can even map most of these characters to their SV counterparts. This should nicely fill the techie TV show void left by SV’s season finale and will nicely lead up to next month’s final season premiere of Halt and Catch Fire.

On tonight’s premiere, “Lawsuit,” four friends become tech millionaires after selling their hit iPhone game “Cat Factory.”

Meet the four newly rich friends tonight on AMC at 10/9c.

I’ll also be watching/recording Superhuman, Will, and Daytime Divas.

Tonight, Game of Thrones finally returns to HBO to kick off the short, penultimate season of the series. When we last let off, things were being set in motion toward the series’ ultimate endgame. Daenerys joined forces with Dorne and the Tyrells, and the army set sail for Westeros. Meanwhile, Arya finally learned that she was better off not being a girl with no name, and she, too, was headed for Westeros to cross another name off her list. In the Citadel, Samwell was introduced to the vast library but had to leave Gilly at the door. At the Wall, Bran tapped into a tree and finished his dream, where he learned of Jon’s true lineage. In Winterfell, with Lady Mormont’s backing, Jon Snow claimed the title of King of the North. And finally, in King’s Landing, Cersei reclaimed the Iron Throne after she used the secret stores of green wildfire to blow up the Sept where the High Sparrow, Queen Margaery, and most of the Faith Militant were awaiting her arrival for her trial. Unfortunately, Cersei’s last remaining son, King Tommen, was devastated over the loss of his wife and killed himself, thus fulfilling the prophesy that had been foretold to Cersei.

I am really looking forward to tonight’s premiere. Last season was easily the most exciting yet, and I think that was partially due to the fact that the series had moved past the material from the books, so the writers had a little more freedom. All the pieces seem to finally be coming together as the various parties are ultimately heading toward their clash for the Iron Throne. The series still has two major things to tackle before the end, and I’m not sure which of those we will see this season: How are these people going to defeat the White Walkers, and who will ultimately sit atop the Iron Throne? Also, what does the presumed fact that Jon Snow is both a Stark and a Targaryen mean to this upcoming battle for the throne? It should be another exciting (but too short) season, and I can’t wait to finally get some new episodes!

On tonight’s premiere, “Dragonstone,” Jon organizes the defense of the North; Cersei tries to even the odds; Daenerys comes home.

If you missed any of the 6th season or want to see it again, HBO will be airing a marathon starting at 11:30am ET on HBO2, with the sixth season finale and seventh season premiere airing on HBO.

Don’t miss the long-awaited premiere tonight on HBO at 9/8c.

I’ll also be watching/recording The Strain, Celebrity Family Feud, The $100,000 Pyramid, Big Brother, and Food Network Star.

Tonight marks the halfway point in the third season of Syfy’s Dark Matter. Last week the Raza crew finally learned what hitched a ride with them when they returned from their trip through time last season — it was their doppelgangers from the alternate universe, aboard their own Maurader. The evil Portia Lin and Boone infiltrated one of Zairon’s ships, releasing passengers out the airlock. This started giving our Two and Three a bad reputation and caused Commander Truffault to call off their alliance. Our crew eventually figured out what was going on and were able to stop the alternates. Afterwards, Adrian decided it was time for him to move on, and the others decided to make a trip to check in on Six. However, when they arrived at the colony, it appeared that everyone there was dead.

What happened to the colony? Is Six still alive? Is this really the last we’ve seen of Adrian and his bodyguard Solara? (I hope not, as I was really enjoying those characters — they were a great fit with the rest of the Raza crew!) Will Ryo be able to stop the fall of the House of Ishida? And will he ever return the nice Four we once knew?

On tonight’s episode, “Wish I Could Believe You,” an injured crew member is haunted by the past, unaware of the dangers that are lurking in the present.

Find out who’s haunted by the past tonight on Syfy at 9/8c.

I’ll also be watching/recording Friends From College, The Great British Baking Show, Ginormous Food, Killjoys, Wynonna Earp, and Playing House.

Kyle and I differ on when Netflix (as well as Amazon & Hulu) shows should be posted. For me, I’m recommending this one tonight because it premieres in the late hours of the night tonight/wee hours of the morning. That way you can watch it first thing when you wake up (or at 3AM if you can’t sleep! LOL).

On that note, my first pick is Friends from College, which premieres the entire first season on Netflix. Keegan-Michael Key (Playing House, Key & Peele), Cobie Smulders (How I Met Your Mother), Annie Parisse (The Following, Law & Order), Nat Faxon (Ben & Kate, Married), Fred Savage (The Grinder), & Jae Suh Park star as a group of friends from Harvard who are about to turn forty years old. They must balance old friendships, former romantic entanglements, and balancing adult life with nostalgia for the past.

With Facebook bringing high school and college friends back together, I think this show is very timely. I think a lot of people will be able to relate, and with such a great cast, I have high hopes that it’ll be a lot of fun to watch for everyone.

Check out the entire first season on Netflix tonight/Friday morning at 3:01AM/2:01AMc.
