Tonight is the midseason finale of The Walking Dead. Last week Carl arrived at the Saviors’ hideout, and when he was discovered hiding in the supply van, he went out guns blazing, killing two of Negan’s men. While Negan is certainly going to make Carl pay for what he did, he appreciated the kid’s chutzpah and decided to torment him with some mind games rather than the branding iron. He made Carl remove the bandage over his missing eye and starting poking fun at him to try to get a rise out of Carl. He then took Carl back to Alexandria to see Rick, but Rick was out scavenging, so Negan decided to make himself at home while waiting for Rick to return. Meanwhile, Rosita pressured Eugene to make her a bullet, Michonne set up a road block to hijack a Savior supply truck, and Daryl received a mysterious note under his cell door telling him to “Go Now.”

I’m really excited for tonight’s finale, as I’m sure, as things usually go with this show, that we can expect that someone to be killed off and/or be left with some big cliffhanger. How will Rick react to Negan in his house, holding baby Judith? Will someone finally take a shot at eliminating Negan? Will we see the Carol and those in the Kingdom cross paths with Rick and the gang?

On tonight’s 86-minute fall finale, “Hearts Still Beating,” with members out scavenging for supplies, Negan’s unwelcome visit to Alexandria continues. With tensions high, things quickly spin out of control.

See how violent the fall finale gets tonight on AMC at 9/8c.

I’ll also be watching/recording Madam Secretary, The Simpsons, Son of Zorn, Family Guy, The Last Man on Earth, and Eyewitness.

I’m always amazed at how much is on TV these days, and there’s no sign that things are slowing down anytime soon. Between Amazon and Netflix, entire seasons of four different shows are dropping today alone! I’m really looking forward to checking out Netflix’s new reality series, White Rabbit Project. “MythBusters” Kari Byron, Tory Belleci, and Grant Imahara have been reunited to investigate weird and wild events from history and pop culture in their fun, creative way. Some of the topics include jailbreaks, superpower technology, heists, and unconventional world war two weapons. The trio will devise experiments and build crazy contraptions, all in the name of uncovering the truth. The final season of MythBusters just didn’t feel the same without Kari, Tory, and Grant, so I’m thrilled to see that Netflix got the gang back together for more crazy, scientific fun!

Check out the fun investigations now on Netflix!

I’ll also be watching/recording Fuller House, Medici: Masters of Florence, MacGyver, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, LEGO Frozen Northern Lights, and Z Nation.

Tonight, the first season of Pitch comes to a close. Last week, it looked like Mike was going to be traded to the Cubs. Mike wasn’t going to participate in his final game as a Padre for fear that he would get injured, but Ginny got the crowd cheering, so Mike stepped up to the plate to bat…only to make the game-ending strike out. Mike was dejected, but the crowd still cheered for him in appreciation of all of his years with the team. Meanwhile, Amelia grew concerned when she learned that Ginny had given her brother Will money to help with his sports bar venture; and soon after, Will’s business partner Evelyn also started to have her own concerns when she noticed some discrepancies in the restaurant’s budget. That evening Ginny went on a date with Noah, the billionaire CEO of a gaming company, which went really well. She received a text from Mike to meet him at a bar, so she headed over, thinking it was some sort of good-bye party with the team. However, she was the only other player there, and it ended up being more like a date. Just as it seemed like the two were about to kiss, Mike received a call from Oscar letting him know the trade fell through.

So what’s the future for Mike and Ginny? Is there something between them, and if so, can they still be teammates, and how would Amelia react? What’s going on with the missing money from the restaurant fund, and how will Ginny react when she finds out the truth about her brother? Tonight is the last episode of the season, and I’m interested to see how it wraps up, especially with a renewal still to be determined.

On tonight’s episode, “Don’t Say It,” Ross warns the Padres that Ginny’s closing in on her pitching limit, but management is reluctant to end her season. Meanwhile, Amelia confronts Will about money that’s missing from the restaurant fund.

See how the season (possible series?) ends tonight on FOX at 9/8c.

I’ll also be watching/recording The Great American Baking Show, The Great Indoors, Life in Pieces, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, and Top Chef.

I’ve seen a good handful of people claiming they won’t watch Criminal Minds anymore since Hotch left, but I think they’re missing out. I still say now, after being here a few episodes, Adam Rodriguez is a great fit for the team/show. Like last week, when he was part of the group who teased Garcia about being the last to know something instead of the first. That something had to do with Tara (remember… TAR-uh, not TEHR-uh), who was the focus of last week’s episode, since a strange man showed up to meet her, acting like he was her brother. Turned out he was one of the multiple-personality-disorder patients and Mr. Scratch had brainwashed him into believing he really was Tara’s brother. Thankfully the team was able to find her real brother and save him (barely!) and also get some help for the poor guy who’d been brainwashed.

Even after the addition of Luke Alvez a few weeks ago, the show/team is welcoming a new cast member tonight. Damon Gupton (who you might recognize from shows like Goliath, Bates Motel, The Player, Empire, and Prime Suspect) is joining the team. To me, he seems a bit older than the others (he’s not… I mean, technically I think he’s Kirsten Vangsness’s age, so only a few years older than AJ Cook. But from everything I’ve seen him in, he “feels” older, so it’ll be interesting to see how he fits in with the team. Plus, his character is a seasoned FBI profiler, so will he fit in as smoothly as Rossi did? I’m very interested to see how the dynamic might change now.

On tonight’s episode, “Scarecrow,” the BAU team heads to Yakima, Wash., after the remains of a dozen people are found along a creek bed. Also, they welcome new team member Stephen Walker (Damon Gupton), a seasoned profiler from the Behavioral Analysis Program of the FBI.

Travel with the team to Washington tonight on CBS at 9/8c.

I’ll also be watching/DVRing The Goldbergs, Lethal Weapon, Speechless, Brothers Take New Orleans, Cooks vs Cons, & black-ish.

brooklyn99126smallAhh, how I love Brooklyn Nine-Nine. The show never fails to make me laugh. Like last week, when Jake mentioned a famous author who had a stalker, and Terry freaked out because the guy was his hero. Jake decided to get the case transferred to them so Terry could meet him. In the end, Terry was disappointed because what he thought the author had autographed to him when he was a kid really had been written by the man’s (now ex-) assistant, who turned out to be the author’s stalker. Terry was hysterical the whole show, from freaking out about meeting him to ripping the three-inch book in half in anger after finding out about the signature. Jake was just as funny. I loved his stories about pantsing his heroes (five of the NY Knicks?! LOL)…and then pantsing Terry at the end!

Of course, then there was the just as funny side story of Captain Holt and Kevin arguing about a math problem and seeking Amy’s opinion. She was so eager to help, but she clearly didn’t see it coming that she would side with Kevin over her beloved Captain Holt! Her conversation with Rosa about them being her dads was hysterical, and so was Rosa’s telling Captain Holt that he needed to “get some.” Oh my word. I cracked up, especially with Captain Holt’s reaction and then coming in later on and being happier because he did, indeed, “get some.” LMAO

On tonight’s episode, “The Overmining,” Captain “CJ” (guest star Ken Marino) is having major problems with a big case, and Jake and Holt find the motivation to help him out. Inside the precinct, war ensues when Terry enforces a green initiative and tells Gina to get rid of her precious space heater, while Rosa and Boyle take a break from the night shift to visit a foot massage parlor.

See if Jake and Captain Holt can help “CJ” and why tonight on FOX at 8/7c.

I’ll also be watching/DVRing Chopped Junior, NCIS, American Housewife, Bull, MasterChef, Aftermath, Chicago Fire, & NCIS: NOLA.
