Walker Season Two DVD Review

Jared Padalecki returned to his lead role as Texas Ranger Cordell Walker on Walker season two on DVD in early October, just before season three premiered on The CW. Picking up three months after the jaw-dropping season one finale, the show follows Walker as he’s reintegrated back into his role on his family’s ranch. Although life seems to be getting back to normal, things quickly take a turn when a family from Walker’s past returns to live in the vacant ranch next door. From Travis County’s newest district attorney Denise Davidson (Amara Zaragoza) and her shady, short-fused husband Dan Davidson (Dave Annable) to Walker’s childhood love Gale Davidson (Paula Marshall), these new neighbors ignite years of trauma from Walker’s childhood.

Walker: Season Two also stars Lindsey Morgan, as well as Keegan Allen, Molly Hagan, Kale Culley, Violet Brinson, Mitch Pileggi, Ashley Perez, Jeff Pierre, & Odette Annable.

The five-disc collection includes all 20 episodes, plus an exclusive gag reel and eight never-before-seen deleted scenes.

If We Controlled Your Remote… 10/18/22

Jenny’s Choice

Megan’s busy at work, so I’m going to do her pick and mine. The FBI franchise is always a lot of fun to watch, so I’m going all out and recommending the entire lineup for tonight. Last week featured some exciting episodes. OA was mugged, and he was too embarrassed and ashamed to admit it, which led to the couple doing it to others, nearly killing a man. The Fly Team broke a US spy out of jail in Istanbul after being arrested by crooked cops. (That was exciting!) And Remy and his team found themselves in the middle of a treasure hunt for Civil War gold!

On tonight’s FBI, “Flopped Cop,” when a wealthy accountant is gunned down for secretly testifying against a notorious drug lord, the team’s investigation leads Tiffany to ask for help from a friend who was formerly with the NYPD and is related to the dangerous crime boss.

On tonight’s FBI: International, “Yesterday’s Miracle,” the Fly Team searches Bucharest for a Romanian surrogate who goes missing shortly before carrying the biological child of an American couple to term. Also, Forrester’s concern about the safety of his neighbors in Budapest intensifies.

On tonight’s FBI: Most Wanted, “Chains,” after Hana is kidnapped while trying to help a young girl (guest star Dalya Knapp, EVIL) in peril at a rest stop that’s on the way to her sister’s house in Connecticut, Remy and the team pull out all the stops to find her.

If We Controlled Your Remote… 10/17/22

Have you ever been at a loss as to what to watch? Too many shows to pick from? We’re here to give you our opinions on what we feel is worth watching. Check it out and then let us know in the comments below what you’re choosing for tonight!

Megan’s Choice

I cannot believe we are already half way through October! 2022 has been flying by, and while I’m excited that we are moving along without too many issues, I’d like time to go a little slower, seeing as my daughter will be leaving for university in less than a year. We have so much to do to decide where she’s going, if she’s staying in Canada or going stateside, and so many other small things. Thankfully for tonight I can just sit back and watch a few of my favorite shows to try to take my mind off the upcoming decisions.

Tonight I’m recommending you watching The Neighborhood, because we all need a few more laughs in our lives. This comedy always manages to make me laugh while also giving me heartwarming feels about the family dynamics that are portrayed. Dave and Calvin’s friendship is a constant source of laughs, while Dave and Gemma’s marriage is one to aspire to. I am excited to see how the show continues as Malcolm and Marty grow into their own relationships and the families branch out. It will be hilarious and sweet to see Calvin and Tina as grandparents in the future because we all know that Tina is going to go overboard as she always does — and as she currently is simply planning the wedding!

On tonight’s episode, “Welcome to the Art of Negotiation,” when Dave is up for a promotion at work, Calvin tries to help him negotiate a raise from his penny-pinching new boss, Gregory. Also, Tina struggles with whether to share some sensitive information with Gemma.

I’ll also be watching Bob Hearts Abishola, 9-1-1, NCIS, The Voice, The Cleaning Lady, The Good Doctor, and Quantum Leap.
