Welcome to a new week of TV! It’s another great week of TV, so make sure you check it out so you don’t miss anything!
I decided to take out the episode numbers. There are several reasons. One, they are a PAIN to keep up with. Networks don’t change (usually), times don’t change (well, occasionally), but episode numbers change weekly. With approximately 300+ shows to cover each week, it requires a significant amount of time and effort to check multiple sources. Also making it more work are that there are a variety of ways the networks & shows format their episode numbers. CBS does letters before the numbers, some with a hyphen & some without. TruTV does “V” before the numbers. Freeform does things like 3001 for the first episode of season 3. There’s not a lot of rhyme or reason in them all, and unfortunately they don’t always just go 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 etc. The episode number is usually the number an episode is filmed, not necessarily the episode that airs. Granted, most of the time (in scripted shows), they are sequential. But others? Not always. So it isn’t just a case of we can simply plug in the next higher number. So…to make it faster & easier on myself AND on those who have volunteered and are helping each week, I just decided to leave them out. 😉
