I’m not feeling great, so the schedule was kind of taking a LONG time to do. I got halfway through Tuesday and decided I just can’t do the rest tonight. I’m too tired for some reason. Today is the series premiere of NewsCafe on FYI at 11AM/10AMc. Journalist Elizabeth Vargas hosts NewsCafe, a new weekly show covering stories of personal, political, and cultural interest to civic-minded Americans.
 
Tonight is also the series premiere of Relative Race: After the Finish Line on BYUtv at 6:30/5:30c. The show takes a look back at past contestant teams and how their lives have been affected by their time on the show. Each episode will briefly recap the contestants’ original experience on Relative Race and then tell the rich stories that have unfolded since meeting their previously unknown family members. Relative Race — the first family-history based competitive reality show — follows four teams as they meet relatives linked by DNA for the first time in a race throughout the United States.
 
Tonight is the 105-minute series premiere of The Comey Rule on Showtime at 9/8c. Jeff Daniels and Brendan Gleeson star as former FBI Director James Comey and President Donald J. Trump in this two-part event series that tells the story of two powerful men, whose strikingly different ethics and loyalties put them on a collision course. Tonight is the 2-hour 20/20 special, “$ellebrity: The Go-To Girls,” on ABC at 8/7c. The special will give viewers an intimate look at what it takes to make a superstar, and how three of the top celebrities of the 2000s — Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, and Kim Kardashian West — changed Hollywood’s fame game, became some of the most successful businesswomen in the world and paved the way for a whole new era of celebrity. The primetime special goes behind the scenes of the original celebrity influencer culture, featuring archival interviews with Hilton, Spears, and Kardashian West, who open up about the price they paid for fame, and interviews with the star-makers who transformed them into celebrities. The two-hour program also explores how these superstars used the rise of tabloids, reality TV and celebrity news outlets to their advantage and laid the groundwork for today’s corporate celebrity empires and social media influencers.
 
Tonight is also the TV movie JL Family Ranch: The Wedding Gift on HMM at 9/8c. Overnight was the complete limited series premiere of Whose Votes Counts, Explained on Netflix. The right to vote is at the foundation of America’s democracy. But not every vote is created equal. How does the system work, and can it be fixed?
 
Today is the series premiere of Together We Rise: The Uncompromised Story of GRM Daily on YouTube at 12PM/11AMc. This is a four-part documentary telling the story of a generation through the game-changing YouTube channel, GRM Daily and its founder Posty, the young, Black, British entrepreneur who helped contribute towards giving a new generation of talent opportunities via a global platform which in turn became a benchmark for their success. Posty’s story is not only a story of excellence within Black British business and culture but synonymous with Grime and Rap: seemingly from nowhere with the help of his peers, him and his team steps up and, in the face of adversity he upholds his own conviction against the odds, succeeds and continues to do so decades later.
 
Tonight is also the series premiere of The Big Bake on Food Network at 10/9c. Professional baking teams have five hours to design, bake and decorate grand-scale cake creations based on Halloween, holiday and spring themes. The bakers need to go big and bold, blowing up their designs to gigantic proportions and thinking outside the bakery box. In the end, the most ambitious, eye-popping and delicious cake will earn a $10,000 prize.
 
Tonight is also the series premiere of Emergency Call on ABC at 10/9c. Hosted by Luke Wilson, Emergency Call follows the dramatic moments leading up to the arrival of help rather than the events after the firefighters, police or emergency medical services teams arrive, and focuses on the extreme, suspenseful and sometimes humorous stories that flood 911 call centers.

Saturday is the series premiere of Magical Girl Friendship Squad on Syfy at 12AM/11PMc. When a little red panda named Nut (Ana Gasteyer, Suburgatory, Grease: Live, Saturday Night Live) arrives in the apartment of two directionless twenty-somethings and gives them the ability to transform into badass magical girls, Alex (Quinta Brunson, The End of the World As We Know It, Jazor Wulf) and Daisy (Anna Akana) are forced to get their shit together in order to save the Universe from otherworldly threats. Through a journey of love and friendship and with the help of their magical objects (birth control and a bong), Alex and Daisy learn to wield their new powers and protect their mysterious panda friend who claims to be the creator of the Universe. It also stars Christine Baranski (The Good Wife, The Good Fight), Daisy Hobbs, Eric Bauza, Helen Hong, Jamie Loftus, Jason Mantzoukas (Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Invincible), Manny Jacinto (The Good Place), Matteo Lane, Paget Brewster (Criminal Minds, Grandfathered, Down Dog), Patti Harrison, Sarah “Squirm” Sherman, Stephanie Sheh, Taylor Ortega (Kim Possible, This Country), & Vella Lovell (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Mr. Mayor).

Tonight is also the series premiere of Wild Life on Syfy at 12:15AM/11:15PMc. This is a comedy about a gang of zoo animal friends hanging out after the apocalypse. There’s the pacifist cheetah Glenn (John Reynolds), bubbly dolphin Marny (Claudia O’Doherty), hyper fox Hudson (Baron Vaughn, Canned, Fairly Legal, Grace and Frankie), psychedelic koala Darby (Reggie Watts, Taskmaster, Comedy Bang! Bang!, Bad Advice from My Brother), self-care loving panda Debbie (SkittLeZ Ortiz) and energy drink-guzzling sloth Viv (Natalie Palamides). Together, they come up with elaborate schemes to entertain themselves and just keep from going insane. From taking trips to a mutant-infested mall for hood ornaments to stumbling upon an old broadcast studio and creating their own shows, these critters are always up to something.

Tonight is also the TV movie Love at Look Lodge on Hallmark at 9/8c. Lily (Clark Backo), an activities director at a cozy mountain hotel, is tasked with helping a handsome workaholic, Noah (Jonathan Keltz), finish planning his sister’s wedding. Determined to make the wedding a success, Lily spends quality time with Noah in order to show him what really matters in life — LOVE!
