There’s a fun new show starting tonight on FOX, called My Kitchen Rules. Based on the No. 1 show of the same name in Australia, it pits five celebrity duos against one another in the kitchen. The duos will take turns hosting dinner parties, where they must cook and serve an appetizer and an entrée. The other duos, along with chefs/judges Curtis Stone and Cat Cora, will score the food on a scale of 1-10, with the judges’ scores given more weight. The celebrity duo with the lowest score each round will be eliminated. The duos include: Lance Bass & his mother Diane, brother & sister Brandy & Ray J Norwood, Andrew Dice Clay & his wife Valerie, Naomi Judd & her husband, and friends Brandi Glanville and Dean Sheremet.

I’ve actually seen the first handful of episodes, and while the food/cooking part is fun enough, the interaction between the duos is what makes the show really worth watching. I will say that going in, I thought for sure I would like two of the duos a lot, be okay with two, and dislike one. In a weird turn of events, I hated the two I thought I’d like, as well as one of the two I thought I’d be okay with, and I really liked the other I thought I’d be okay with, as well as the one I thought I’d hate! So color me surprised. It’s a fun show. Not one you have to think a lot about, but it’s fun to see into these celebrities lives and learn a bit more about what they seem to be really like.

On tonight’s episode, “Brandy & Ray J, Lance Bass Dinner Parties,” Musicians – and siblings – Brandy and Ray J prepare a challenging meal; musician & TV host Lance Bass and his mother prepare a Southern feast.

Find out who can cook and who can’t tonight on FOX at 9:01/8:01c.

I’ll also be watching/DVRing The Great American Baking Show, Hell’s Kitchen, The Great Indoors, Chicago Med, Top Chef, Beat Bobby Flay, & That Awkward Game Show.

Last week’s Lethal Weapon was all about the grass being greener on the other side, at least for Murtaugh. When he and Riggs were up against a Koreatown gang and a drug war, they had to work with a detective who knew more about that culture, and Murtaugh got along well with the guy, who was all about following the rules, calling/waiting for backup, etc. In the end, though, I think he realized working with Riggs has been good for him. The funniest part was when Riggs was drugged by the woman who turned out to be the killer. Riggs sober (well, at least not high on drugs…) is pretty amusing. But Riggs high on drugs? Hysterical. I loved him riding on top of the car (according to the MythBusters, that’s impossible. LOL) and saying hi to Roger, who went by going the other way. The saddest part of the episode was Trish trying to set up Riggs with a friend. I loved Riggs’s telling her that someday he’ll have to move on, but not yet.

On tonight’s episode, “Lawmen,” Murtaugh and Riggs are pitted against the LA Sheriff’s department when the killing of a Texas Ranger leads them to believe a possible misuse of power is at play. Just as the partners are sure they’ve found their culprit, the case becomes even more complicated when a dark secret is dug up from Captain Avery’s past. Malcolm-Jamal Warner (Major Crimes) and Scott William Winters (Law & Order: SVU) guest star.

To learn Captain Avery’s dark secret, tune in to FOX at 8/7c.

It’s here, it’s here! Tonight is the season premiere of Bones. It’s been SIX long months since the previous season finale. The FBI & Squints were once again on the trail of the Puppeteer, the serial killer who lived with his victims’ bodies before disposing of them. It seemed like Bones was a target, and sure enough, in the end, she was kidnapped by none other than…ZACK! So is Zack the killer? How did he get out of the institution he’s been in for years? Where does he have Bones, and why? We’ll get those answers tonight.

This is the final season of the show, so there’s bound to be a lot of surprises. Hopefully we’ll see some great guest stars and get some great wrap-ups for our favorite characters. I’ve seen the first few episodes, and I know it’s off to a great start!

On tonight’s episode, “The Hope in the Horror,” Booth and the lab team desperately search for Brennan after she’s kidnapped by her former assistant, Zack Addy.

See if they can find Bones tonight on FOX at 9:01/8:01c.

I’ll also be watching/DVRing Chopped Junior, NCIS, American Housewife, Bull, Chicago Fire, MasterChef Canada, Chicago PD, Chopped, & NCIS: New Orleans.

Tonight, FOX is airing the premiere of new comedy The Mick at a special night and time before the series moves to its regular timeslot this Tuesday. Crass, foul-mouthed hustler Mickey (Kaitlin Olson, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia) is down on her luck and looking for her next score. So she heads to Greenwich, CT, to surprise her sister and her billionaire husband, hoping to get them to buy into her latest investment scheme. However, the annual Labor Day bash is suddenly raided by the Feds, who are looking to arrest the couple for fraud. After her sister takes off, Mickey is left in charge of her spoiled niece and nephews. Eighteen-year-old activist Sabrina (Sofia Black D’Elia, The Messengers) thinks she knows everything and quickly proves to be a worthy adversary to Mickey, always hatching some sort of plan; thirteen-year-old Chip (Thomas Barbusca, The New Normal) has a sense of entitlement and is constantly threatening to sue when things don’t go his way; and seven-year-old Ben (Jack Stanton) just misses his parents. At first Mickey is thrilled to live the lavish life in a mansion but then realizes she needs to be a parent to these children. The cast also includes Carla Jimenez (Last Man Standing) as Alba the maid and Susan Park (Vice Principals) as Liz, the nosy next-door neighbor who’s constantly judging Micky with her passive-aggressive comments.

Tonight’s premiere basically just sets up the premise and the relationships between the characters, but I really enjoyed it, and it made me want to see more. I really enjoyed the face-offs between Sabrina and Mickey – it looks like that’s going to be a really fun part of the show. Both of these characters constantly think they have the upper hand on the other, only to realize they’ve been duped. This looks like it’s going to be a fun series, and I look forward to checking out more later this week!

On tonight’s episode, “Pilot,” an irresponsible, hard-partying opportunist signs on to raise her sister’s three spoiled children in an affluent Connecticut neighborhood when their parents bolt the country to escape federal charges.

Move in to the new neighborhood tonight on FOX at 8/7c.

I’ll also be watching/recording To Tell the Truth, Ransom, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Sherlock, Worst Cooks in America, Beyond, and The Librarians.

Tonight, the second season of Scream Queens comes to a close. Last week we finally learned the identities of all three of the Green Meanies who have been wreaking havoc on the hospital – Dr. Cassidy Cascade (Taylor Lautner), Wes Gardner (Oliver Hudson), and Nurse Ingrid Hoffel (Kirstie Alley). Last season’s killer, Hester Ulrich, mediated a meeting between the murderous trio as they argued who would get to kill the Chanels, and during this meeting we discovered which of the killers was responsible for each of this season’s murders. Meanwhile, the Chanels managed to pass their MCAT exams (some by cheating) in order to be able to participate in a live surgery that was to be aired on a wildly popular talk show hosted by Dr. Scarlett Lovin. However, just before the surgery, Dr. Lovin drank a poisoned coffee that was meant for Chanel and dropped dead. When Wes tried to kill a Chanel, he broke the terms of the deal among the Green Meanies, and so Dr. Cascade and Nurse Hoffel forced Wes into a boiling hydrotherapy tub. This also had the added benefit of making people think the Green Meanie was finally dead, and so they’d drop their guard. In the final moments of the episode, Dean Munsch announced that she had a rare disease that only gives her one month to live.

Will the remaining two Green Meanies complete their plan to kill the Chanels and the rest of the hospital staff? Or will Dr. Cascade’s love for Chanel #3 prevent him from going through with it? Will Dr. Holt give into his own urges to kill Chanel? Is there any hope that Dean Munch can be saved from her terminal disease? And where is Zayday being held, and will she be able to escape before she winds up dead as well? This has been a really wild, fun, and crazy season, and I’m looking forward to seeing how it all gets wrapped up tonight!

On tonight’s finale, “Drain the Swamp,” the Green Meanie triggers a final plan for revenge as Hester boldly moves to secure her future, and Brock performs risky surgery to save Dean Munsch.

See how the season ends tonight on FOX at 9/8c.

I’ll also be watching/recording Terry Crews Saves Christmas, Good Behavior, and Shooter.
