It’s a bit of a slow week in terms of shows we want to recommend (so much so that I may be the only one all week! 😉 ), but I’m super excited because almost every day this week, I get to recommend a game show (or two…or three…)! Yay! Tonight is all about ABC for me – the season premieres of: Celebrity Family Feud, hosted by Steve Harvey; The $100,000 Pyramid, hosted by Michael Strahan; & To Tell the Truth, hosted by Anthony Anderson – and his momma. The celebs play for charity on Feud, to help regular people on Pyramid, and just for the fun and friendly competition on Truth, but all of them are a lot of fun and just right for everyone to sit down and relax to.

On tonight’s episode of Celebrity Family Feud, “Team Teigen/Legend vs. Team Vanderpump Rules and Karamo Brown vs. Terry Crews,” songster John Legend and his wife, model/actress/TV personality Chrissy Teigen play for City Harvest against Lisa Vanderpump and friends for The Vanderpump Dog Foundation, and then it’s Queer Eye’s Karamo Brown and his family playing for OutRight Action International versus actor/TV personality Terry Crews and his family for Boys & Girls Clubs of America.

Then on The $100,000 Pyramid, it’s actress/comedian Rosie O’Donnell vs. actress Leslie Jones, followed in the second game by actress Cheryl Hines vs. actor/TV personality Anthony Anderson.

And finally on To Tell the Truth, the celebrity panel consists of Snoop Dogg, Oliver Hudson, Justin Long, and Amanda Seales. The panel is presented with a variety of participants with interesting stories, from someone saved by a humpback whale, to a professional mourner and a LEGO master builder.

To check out all the fun, tune in to ABC starting at 8/7c.

I’ll also be watching/DVRing The Great Food Truck Race & Ripley’s Believe It or Not! hosted by the great Bruce Campbell.

Tonight, The 100 finally returns for its fifth season on The CW. When we last left off, everyone was trying to escape the deadly radiation that was rapidly approaching. The lucky 1200 people who had been selected for the bunker were locked away, with Octavia inside and in charge. The remaining folks only had 90 minutes to escape and were desperately trying enact their plan to head back up to the Ark ring. However, in their haste to get things done quickly, the communications system went down, which meant that someone was going to have to activate the power on the Ark ring manually. Clarke volunteered, but when she got to the satellite station, the situation was worse than expected. She knew she wouldn’t get back to the ship in time and told the others to launch without her. They reluctantly did this but still weren’t out of the woods. They were rapidly running out of air and needed to dock the ship and get the oxygen scrubber connected to the Ark ring ASAP, which Bellamy managed to do in the nick of time. Meanwhile, Clarke was left on Earth, unprotected from the radiation but with the glimmer of hope that she would be immune.

The finale then cut to 6 years and 7 days later. Clarke is alive and well, living on a small, green plot of land along with a little girl named Madi. Every day Clarke tries to contact Bellamy and the others on the radio but has never made contact with either those on the Ark or those in the bunker. When she hears a loud noise overhead, she assumes it’s the others finally returning. However, she’s shocked and dismayed to discover a giant prison transport ship, with the name Eligius Corporation stamped on the side, landing nearby.

Who is this little girl Clarke is living with, and how did they survive the past 6 years? What is the Eligius Corporation, where did this ship come from, why are they here, and will those aboard pose a threat to Clarke? And when are the folks on the Ark ring and/or in the bunker going to make their way back to land? There are so many questions and so many opportunities for interesting stories. I look forward to seeing what the fifth season brings!

On tonight’s season premiere, “Eden,” Clarke struggles to survive on a desolate, scorched earth. Meanwhile, her friends in space come across a long-awaited beacon of hope.

Catch up with everyone tonight on The CW at 9/8c.

I’ll also be watching/recording The Middle, black-ish, For the People, Rise, LA to Vegas, New Girl, The Flash, Legion, and The Last O.G.

It’s a new reality/game show block on ABC starting tonight, and I couldn’t be more excited. First up is the fourth season premiere of Celebrity Family Feud. My family and I love watching Family Feud. Our favorite hosts are Steve Harvey and, from way back when, Richard Dawson. Thankfully, Steve Harvey is the host of Celebrity Family Feud, because he makes this show fantastic. The celeb families are usually pretty fun too. Tonight’s first game features singer/American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson (along with her friends and family: sister Alyssa, friends Shane and Ashley, and personal assistant Tricia) and comedian Amy Schumer (along with friends and family: sister Kim, friend Kevin, brother Jason, and sister-in-law Cayce). The second game features DWTS winner Bindi Irwin (along with her family: mother Terri, brother Robert, and cousins Daniel and Sara) and actress Chrissy Metz from This Is Us (along with her family: mother Denise and sisters Monica, Morgana, and Abigail). The four of them will compete for their favorite charities.

Following that show is new series Steve Harvey’s Funderdome, which is a little like Shark Tank…but a lot more lively. In each episode, aspiring inventors will go head-to-head to win over a live studio audience to fund their ideas, products, or companies. The audience will vote to determine the winner of each head-to-head battle. In the end, Steve will present the inventors with a major dilemma. One of the inventors is allowed to cash out and walk away for a lesser amount. If they cash out, they can’t win the whole cash prize for that round. If they lost the crowd vote, then they’re better off. If not… Oops? Some of this week’s inventions are an all-in-one picture-hanging tool, vegan soaps, and a holistic soap that helps keep a woman’s private parts fresh and clean. (Wtf? LOL) This show could be a lot of fun, given that Steve Harvey is hosting. The previews I’ve seen have him laughing and having a lot of fun with some of the products. I’m hoping it’ll be really enjoyable!

Finally, The $100,000 Pyramid is back with Michael Strahan hosting. Pyramid is always one of my favorite game shows to watch on reruns, and I loved the first season of this one. So I’m excited to have it back for season 2 tonight. First up it’s actress Leslie Jones vs actor/musician LL Cool J. The second episode features host Tom Bergeron vs singer Jennifer Nettles. Both episodes should be fun to watch, but I think Tom and Jennifer will play a better game. Guess I’ll see if I’m right!

Catch all the fun and excitement tonight on ABC starting at 8/7c.

I’ll also be watching/DVRing Guy’s Grocery Games & Food Network Star.

the100211smallThere were some pretty big developments on last week’s episode of The 100. The episode started off with Clarke being held captive in Polis, where former love Lexa revealed that she was holding a peace summit with the Skaikru, at which she would return Clarke to her people. She also asked Clarke to get her people to become the 13th clan in her coalition. However, she soon discovered that Lexa didn’t plan on letting her go, and Prince Roan made his own offer to Clarke: he would help her escape if she killed Lexa and joined the Ice Nation. But Clarke ultimately chose to bow down to Lexa at the summit. Meanwhile, news reached Mount Weather that an assassin was planning to kill all of the Arkadia delegates headed to the summit, so Bellamy and Pike took off for Poli to warn/protect them. However, when they arrived, they discovered that the assassins were actually headed for Mount Weather, where they murdered Bellamy’s girlfriend and activated the mountain’s self-destruct sequence. We later learned that Emerson had managed to survive last season’s attack on Mount Weather and had given the Ice Nation queen the self-destruct codes in retaliation.

How will Bellamy and the others retaliate for the loss of their people? Will Clarke really stay in Polis to serve as the Skaikru’s ambassador, or will she rejoin her people? And what did Lexa’s late-night bow of fealty toward Clarke mean?

On tonight’s episode, “Watch the Thrones,” Clarke discovers the mastermind behind a devious plan. Meanwhile, Kane struggles to keep the peace; and Jasper’s grief drives him to behave recklessly.

To see what Clarke does with her discovery, tune in to The CW at 9/8c.

I’ll also be watching/recording The Big Bang Theory, Life in Pieces, Grey’s Anatomy, You, Me and the Apocalypse, The Blacklist, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Top Chef, Recipe for Deception, Workaholics, and Idiotsitter.

csicyber311smallI loved last week’s premiere of CSI: Cyber, although I told my husband I think it’s more like Criminal Minds than CSI. But whatever the name, I enjoyed it. James Van Der Beek’s Agent Mundo is probably my favorite character so far (because of his interaction with the young kid next door to the kidnapped baby and how he didn’t even hesitate to jump into the pond to rescue the baby from the car, when all the cops just stood around with their thumbs up their butts, it seemed), but I do love Agent Avery Ryan, played by Patricia Arquette. She’s fantastic, and obviously there’s some back story that will be interesting to dive into. One other thing I found interesting was the fact that Agent Ryan brought in the former black-hat hacker after he was caught by Agent Krumitz and arrested/found guilty. I love the idea of rehabilitation that way if possible.

On tonight’s episode (which is probably my favorite of the four episodes I’ve seen so far), “CMND:\Crash,” Agent Avery Ryan and her cyber team investigate a roller coaster crash caused by someone who found a way to hack into the ride’s internal computer. Jason George, Joe Reegan, & Christopher Douglas Reed guest star.

See if Agent Ryan & her team can solve the case tonight on CBS at 10/9c.

I’ll also be watching/DVRing Melissa & Joey, Criminal Minds, Mystery Diners, black-ish, Best New Restaurant, & Donnie Loves Jenny.
