Kyle’s Choice
There were some pretty big developments on last week’s episode of The 100. The episode started off with Clarke being held captive in Polis, where former love Lexa revealed that she was holding a peace summit with the Skaikru, at which she would return Clarke to her people. She also asked Clarke to get her people to become the 13th clan in her coalition. However, she soon discovered that Lexa didn’t plan on letting her go, and Prince Roan made his own offer to Clarke: he would help her escape if she killed Lexa and joined the Ice Nation. But Clarke ultimately chose to bow down to Lexa at the summit. Meanwhile, news reached Mount Weather that an assassin was planning to kill all of the Arkadia delegates headed to the summit, so Bellamy and Pike took off for Poli to warn/protect them. However, when they arrived, they discovered that the assassins were actually headed for Mount Weather, where they murdered Bellamy’s girlfriend and activated the mountain’s self-destruct sequence. We later learned that Emerson had managed to survive last season’s attack on Mount Weather and had given the Ice Nation queen the self-destruct codes in retaliation.
How will Bellamy and the others retaliate for the loss of their people? Will Clarke really stay in Polis to serve as the Skaikru’s ambassador, or will she rejoin her people? And what did Lexa’s late-night bow of fealty toward Clarke mean?
On tonight’s episode, “Watch the Thrones,” Clarke discovers the mastermind behind a devious plan. Meanwhile, Kane struggles to keep the peace; and Jasper’s grief drives him to behave recklessly.
To see what Clarke does with her discovery, tune in to The CW at 9/8c.
