chicagopd210smallI love when get crossovers on NBC with the Chicago-based shows, and it’s fun when Law & Order: SVU is included. Tonight, it’s Chicago PD (my favorite of the Chicago series) that the New York City show is paired with. Dallas Roberts is back. He plays the deliciously evil Gregory Yates, who kidnapped and murdered a BUNCH of women, including Nadia on Chicago PD last season. They, along with the detectives from New York, helped catch him, and he was convicted of murder and put in prison. So why is he back? He’s escaped. Eek. It should be a fun ride as they attempt to catch him again in the back-to-back crossover episodes.

On tonight’s Law & Order: SVU episode, “Nationwide Manhunt,” Erin Lindsay and Antonio Dawson join the SVU team in the hunt for two escaped murderers they helped to convict. Dallas Roberts, Jefferson Mays, Sophia Bush, and Jon Seda guest star.

Then on the Chicago PD episode, “The Song of Gregory William Yates,” Intelligence learns that Yates intends to flee New York and is headed for Chicago. The SVU team informs them that Yates has been gathering information on Lindsay, and after Platt calls in a triple homicide likely at the hand of Yates, Benson and Fin catch the next plane to Chicago. Dallas Roberts, Mariska Hargitay, and Ice-T guest star.

Don’t miss either episode of exciting action tonight on NBC starting at 9/8c.

I’ll also be watching/DVRing 2 Broke Girls, The Mysteries of Laura, The Goldbergs, Mike & Molly, Criminal Minds, Modern Family, Property Brothers, Hell’s Kitchen, black-ish, Code Black, & Restaurant Startup.

babydaddy210smallLast week, Baby Daddy returned for the start of its fifth season, and we finally got to see what happened with that proposal. Riley pretended to faint and acted as though she never heard Danny’s question. However, Danny was determined to ask her again, and there was only so many ways she could avoid him. Riley eventually told Danny the truth, saying that while she loved him, an engagement was moving a little too fast for her. Meanwhile, Bonnie tried to get away from her kids, who seemed to have a knack for interrupting her wedding. There were a couple more failed attempts, but she was finally able to make it happen. Lastly, new neighbor Zoey moved into the building, and she and Ben hit it off (after a bit of an awkward start). However, on their first date Ben took off when he discovered that she was pregnant. Ben later manned up and they had a do-over, but this time he found himself delivering Zoey’s baby in the back of a horse-drawn carriage as Riley steered.

That was quite a first date, but despite the chaos, Ben and Zoey seemed to hit it off. Will they continue to pursue a relationship, and if so, how will that new baby come into play? How will married life change things for Bonnie? And what’s next for Riley and Danny?

On tonight’s episode, “Reinventing the Wheeler,” Ben asks for Riley’s help to find him a date, but she decides that he needs to work on himself before settling down. Meanwhile, Danny asks Bonnie for help after his sleeping problems affect his hockey performance.

See if Danny can get some good sleep tonight on Freeform at 8:30/7:30c.

I’ll also be watching/recording Criminal Minds, The Middle, The Goldbergs, Modern Family, black-ish, Arrow, Supernatural, Young & Hungry, Man Seeking Woman, Suits, Face Off, Younger, and Teachers.

codeblack210smallCode Black was incredible last week, with so many emotional moments as the doctors all recounted the horrible situation with Gina and Malaya being attacked by the lunatic Gordon. Gina didn’t make it, so the hospital was having everyone discuss the decisions made by Mike and Neal in the ER. As always, I side with the ER doctors because they are the ones in the thick of it. Angus saved the day, coming to the rescue of Malaya in the garage, but later we see that he didn’t in fact try to save Gordon but only pretended when the security got there. When Angus talked to his brother later, Mike told him to take the secret to the grave. We saw a flashback where Angus actually held Gordon down after he said he wanted to kill that bitch, referring to Malaya. Part of me was shocked because Angus is so docile most of the time, but the other part of me actually felt like it was deserved. Good thing it’s only a show.

Overall, l have fallen in love with this show, and I can’t wait to see more every week. It also helps that Neal and Christa are officially together. Such a great couple.

On tonight’s episode, “Hail Mary,” Christa becomes insecure in her new relationship with Neal when his ex-girlfriend, Dr. Grace Adams, returns to Angels Memorial after spending a year volunteering in Haiti. Also, New York Giants Pro Bowl wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. comes to the ER to convince his stubborn high school football coach, Pete Delaney, to have life-saving surgery. Beau Bridges & his daughter Emily Bridges also guest star.

Find out if Christa can overcome the jealousy tonight on CBS at 10/9c.

I’ll also be watching Criminal Minds, Law & Order: SVU, Chicago PD, Hell’s Kitchen, and black-ish.
