Tonight is the 70-minute series premiere of A Wild Year on Earth on BBC America at 8/7c. Narrated by Laura Carmichael (Downtown Abbey) and produced by Northern Pictures, A Wild Year on Earth charts the planet’s most spectacular events of migration, rebirth and transformation over the course of a year.
 
Tonight is the series premiere of The Eisen Hour on Epix at 10/9c. Each week, Emmy nominated broadcaster, Rich Eisen will sit down with some of the most dynamic personalities from the world of sports and entertainment. True to his style, Rich will unearth unique stories and opinions using his total recall of all things movies and pop culture. Each week highlights a joyful, engaging, and oftentimes hilarious look at the world of entertainment through the lens of Eisen’s uncanny interviewing style.

Tonight is a TV movie Salt-N-Pepa on Lifetime at 8/7c. It details the journey of Queensborough Community College students Cheryl “Salt” James and Sandra “Pepa” Denton as they enter the world of rap and hip hop, after recording a song for their friend Hurby Azor. Salt-N-Pepa made a huge impact as one of the first all-female rap groups, changing the look of hip hop and being unafraid to talk about sex and share their thoughts on men. The movie follows the group as they become the first female rap act to go platinum and experience ground-breaking success with multiple awards, including a Grammy award – paving the way for all female rappers to follow. The film will feature performances of Salt-N-Pepa’s greatest hits, including: “Let’s Talk About Sex”, “What a Man”, “Shoop” and “Push It”. The movie stars GG Townson as Cheryl “Salt” James, Laila Odom as Sandra “Pepa” Denton, Cleveland Berto as music producer Hurby Azor, Jermel Howard as rapper Treach, and Monique Paul as DJ Spinderella.
 
Tonight is the Hallmark movie A Winter Getaway at 9/8c. When an average guy is gifted a luxury trip, he is mistaken for a millionaire. He and the concierge who is making this once in a lifetime trip happen end up hitting it off after spending time together. Will she feel the same way about him when she learns the truth? It stars Brooks Darnell & Nazneen Contractor.
 
Tonight is also a 1-hour special, Let’s Talk About Salt-N-Pepa, on Lifetime at 11:03/10:03c. Hip hop artists Salt-N-Pepa talk about what makes their iconic partnership work and how their pioneering style continues to influence the music world; Loni Love hosts.
