Tonight is the series premiere of Louisiana Law on Animal Planet at 9/8c. The all-new series follows the men and women of the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries as they patrol one of the most geographically diverse states in the U.S., with a jurisdiction that ranges from 200 miles out into the Gulf of Mexico up to the border of Arkansas. With the authority to enforce all fish and wildlife laws in addition to state and federal criminal laws, the wildlife agents of Louisiana are tasked with protecting the natural resources of the state and are on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week, often patrolling alone and miles from backup. Audiences will travel deep into the woods and bayous with these wildlife agents as they encounter perilous situations that affect wildlife and citizens alike, all in the name of conservation.
 
Tonight is also the series premiere of Ziwe on Showtime at 11/10c. The six-episode season will feature interviews, musical numbers, guest stars, sketches and more – including unscripted and unpredictable interactions with everyday people. Writer, comedian and performer Ziwe, who also serves as showrunner on the series, brings her singular, riotously funny, no-holds-barred brand to Showtime with her new eponymous late-night variety show. Previously, Ziwe wrote for Desus & Mero, Our Cartoon President, Dickinson and rose to viral popularity with her ground-breaking and provocative Instagram Live series questioning cultural figures on race. She has also voiced Kamala Harris and other roles for Our Cartoon President, as well as Tooning Out the News, and appears in her own Pop Show, which she created and performs at Brooklyn’s Union Hall with original pop songs off her album Generation Ziwe.

Tonight is the 2-hour “Women’s Championship” special for American Ninja Warrior on NBC at 7/6c. Twelve elite female competitors battle across two daunting courses; the top four finishers advance to race head-to-head on the power tower, with the winner taking home $50,000 and becoming the first-ever American Ninja Warrior Women’s Champion.
 
Tonight is the 2-hour special Biography: Booker T on A&E at 8/7c. Booker T is an 11-time WCW Tag Team Champion, a six-time World Champion and a two-time inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame; in addition to his career in the ring, Booker T also becomes a color commentator for WWE’s weekly programming.
 
Tonight is the 30-minute special DJ Cassidy’s Pass The Mic: BET Mother’s Day Edition on BET at 9/8c. Legendary soul artists sing their most uplifting, heartwarming, prolific records in celebration of mothers around the world.
 
Tonight is the 1-hour special Chris Cornell: Life, Death & Money on Reelz at 9/8c. A look at the life grunge rock icon and former Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell, and the bitter estate battles that ensued after his untimely death.

Tonight is the 2-hour limited series premiere of Crime of the Century on HBO at 9/8c. This is a searing indictment of Big Pharma and the political operatives and government regulations that enable over-production, reckless distribution and abuse of synthetic opiates. Exploring the origins, extent and fallout of one of the most devastating public health tragedies of our time, with half a million deaths from overdoses this century alone, the film reveals that America’s opioid epidemic is not a public health crisis that came out of nowhere.
 
Tonight is the series premiere of I, Sniper on VICE at 10/9c. The D.C. sniper attacks of 2002, as told by the surviving shooter himself.

Overnight was the 90-minute series premiere of Clipped on Discovery+. The first competition series set in the spectacular world of topiary and hosted by actor Michael Urie, the six-episode series follows seven real life “Edward Scissorhands,” who create breathtaking sculptures out of meticulously trimmed shrubbery, plants and flowers — designing colorful, larger-than-life, living works of art. Throughout the series, competitors will face high-stakes challenges and have their topiary masterpieces evaluated by lead judge and gardening icon Martha Stewart and an expert panel of judges, including critically acclaimed landscape architect Fernando Wong and lifestyle, landscape and horticultural expert Chris Lambton (HGTV’s Going Yard). Each week they decide who makes the cut, who gets clipped, and, in the end, who is crowned as the top topiarist who wins $50,000 cash and bragging rights as the first-ever Clipped champion.
 
Overnight was the complete first season premiere of The Upshaws on Netflix. A working-class Black family in Indiana strives for a better life and a happy home while juggling everyday struggles in this comedy series.
