It features surprising perspectives on how a map, a dance, and fateful timing were factors in the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln and how cost-cutting, weather, and a spark created one of history’s worst aircraft catastrophes – the Hindenburg disaster. Each episode highlights a different moment in history. Inspired by his passion for history, Wilson is a fly on the wall as he breaks down the barrier between the audience and the action to revisit a series of critical historical events, disasters, triumphs and true stories to learn unexpected facts in an engaging, fast-moving, and often unpredictable way.

Co-executive produced by Jayce Baron and Pose star, Hailie Sahar, Beyond Ed Buck begins by examining and analyzing the tragic deaths of Gemmel Moore (2017) and Timothy Dean (2019), two gay Black men who died at the hands of democratic political donor, Ed Buck. Buck was found guilty of several charges, including supplying fatal doses of methamphetamine to both men in July of last year. True to its title, the anti-crime documentary goes beyond the Ed Buck case to unpack internalized homophobia, the psychological root of predatory behaviors, and to provide a deeper exploration of challenges faced by the Black and Brown LGBTQ+ community – particularly how a variety of systemic social and economic issues have led gay and trans identified people to become victims of predators looking to satisfy sexual fetishes and indulge in illicit drug use. Beyond Ed Buck, sponsored by Gilead Sciences, features interviews with several notable figures and industry professionals including co-executive producer, Hailie Sahar, Raniyah Copeland (former President and CEO of Black Aids Institute), Dr. Gregory Canillas (LGBTQ+ psychologist), George M. Johnson (award-winning author), Shar Jossell (journalist & media personality) and many more.

Overnight was the 2-hour documentary film Destination Fear: Trail to Terror on Discovery+. At long last, Destination Fear fans get the chance to witness the beginning and experience the maiden road trip that kickstarted an insatiable fear-seeking mission in Destination Fear: Trail to Terror, a two-hour documentary directed and hosted by Dakota Laden. As the genesis for the hit TV series Destination Fear, the much-anticipated film – shot in 2015 and debuting for the first time on any entertainment platform – documents Dakota’s inaugural experiment with fear, resulting in a harrowing and unforgettable experience that would change their lives forever. In Trail to Terror, Dakota Laden takes his sister, Chelsea Laden, and best friends, Tanner Wiseman and Coalin Smith, on a nail-biting journey to test their limits of fear. His goal: to capture real fear on camera by confronting it head on. Challenging the group to the max, Dakota does not tell anyone where they are going, only that they will be sleeping alone for five consecutive nights in five of the most haunted locations in America. What starts out as a unique experiment and RV trip with friends turns into a real-life horror movie, haunting them still to this day.

Overnight was the premiere of the feature film Hellbender on Shudder. This horror indie film follows a teenage girl who uncovers a shocking secret about her family’s past and a dark, ancient power within herself after a juvenile game gone wrong. The film stars real-life mother and daughter, Toby Poser and Zelda Adams, who also share the writing, directing, and editing credits with husband-and-father John Adams.

Overnight was the feature film Love, Tom on Paramount+. Over the course of a single night in Nashville, Oscar and Grammy nominated songwriter Tom Douglas narrates a letter of hope to a desperate world.

This afternoon is the 30-minute Cooking Channel special Inside Chili Nation at 3/2c. Passionate and competitive “Chili Heads” compete for top honors at the World Championship Chili Cook-off.

Tonight is the feature film No Exit on Hulu. A young woman en route to a family emergency becomes stranded in a blizzard and forced to find shelter at a highway rest area with a group of strangers. When she stumbles across an abducted girl in a van in the parking lot, it sets her on a terrifying life-or-death struggle to discover who amoung them is the kidnapper. Starring Havana Rose Liu (Mayday), Danny Ramirez (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Top Gun: Maverick), David Rysdahl (Nine Days), Dale Dickey (Winter’s Bone), Mila Harris (Young Dylan), and Dennis Haysbert (Breakthrough).

Overnight was the AMC+ special Creation Stories. The film follows the true story of McGee, a man from a relatively impoverished upbringing, who against all odds built a record label from nothing, a record label that built the biggest band in the world during the 1990s and created an empire that competed against the huge entertainment corporations in the world. Along the way there was bankruptcy, heartache, mental breakdowns, dinners with Tony Blair and Bill Clinton, treachery, treason, drugs, sex and anarchy. Creation Stories tells his story in depth for the first time, from leaving school at 16 to setting up the Living Room club in London, which showcased many emerging indie bands, from managing the Jesus and Mary Chain to co-founding Creation Records when he was only 23. His label had acts such as My Bloody Valentine, House of Love, Ride and Primal Scream. Embracing acid house, Alan decamped to Manchester and hung out at the Hacienda and took Creation into the big time with Screamadelica. After a drug-induced breakdown, he climbed back to sobriety, he discovered the generation-defining band Oasis and oversaw their rise to become one of the biggest bands in the world.

Overnight was the film premiere of A Madea Homecoming. Madea’s back — hallelujer! And she’s not putting up with any nonsense as family drama erupts at her great-grandson’s college graduation celebration. It stars Tyler Perry, Cassi Davis-Patton, David Mann, Tamela Mann, Gabrielle Dennis, Brandon Black, Isha Blaaker, Candace Maxwell, Geneva Maccarone, Jennifer Gibney, Amani Atkinson, & Brendan O’Carroll.
