Overnight was the complete first season premiere of The Pact on Roku Channel. The story follows a family strained past the breaking point by a post-apocalyptic world as they travel alongside other survivors seeking the cause and cure for the Miasma, a mysterious fog that drives victims insane. It stars Rick Ravanello, James Marshall, Robert Knepper, Natassia Malthe, Louis Mandylor, & Eyad Hourani.

Today is the series premiere of Be My Guest with Ina Garten on Food Network at 12PM/11AMc. In her new series, the Barefoot Contessa invites friends old and new to her East Hampton home for a day of conversation, connection, food and fun visits to some of her favorite local spots.

Tonight is the limited series premiere of The Fatal Attraction Murder on Oxygen at 8/7c. The 2-part limited series dives into the murder of Betty Jeanne Solomon, a case that drew comparisons to the hit 1987 erotic thriller Fatal Attraction. When Carolyn Warmus was tried for killing her lover’s wife, Betty Jeanne Solomon, the unapologetic, attractive, young elementary school teacher from a wealthy family was named “The Fatal Attraction Killer” by the press. The moniker, borrowed from the popular film due to the stunning similarities between the movie and the trial, was a label Warmus couldn’t shake. The story of an affair that seemingly led to murder was a sensation, quickly garnering front-page news status and relentless coverage across television. Reporters from around the world descended on Westchester County to scrutinize every word of testimony, every nuance of Warmus’ body language and every detail of her wardrobe. The special features an exclusive interview with Carolyn Warmus, as well as the Greenburgh PD investigator who worked the case from beginning to end; Westchester County, New York prosecutors; jurors and reporters who covered the story first hand. All reveal what they thought about the case then and how they view it now. Throughout the in-depth special, Warmus, who never testified in her own defense on the advice of her counsel, shares her truth. She has always maintained her innocence. With no physical evidence to support her guilt, those who investigated the case and worked to secure her conviction offer the circumstantial evidence that led to Warmus’ sentence. While Warmus’ first, grueling, months-long court ordeal ended in a mistrial, she was retried and convicted soon after. Viewers are left to decide for themselves if justice was ultimately served. Was Warmus the unwitting pawn in a setup to distract police from the actual killer, or was she the obsessive femme fatale who murdered in cold blood? In the latest turn, New York prosecutors have agreed to DNA testing of one of the few pieces of evidence found at the crime scene. Warmus’ legal team are hopeful the results will vindicate her.

Tonight is the Hallmark movie A Second Chance at Love at 8/7c. On the surface, Alicia (Alvina August) and Arnold’s (Jarod Joseph) marriage is picture perfect. However, there is something amiss. Arnold is ready to grow their family, but subconsciously Alicia is hesitant to the idea. Rather than face the problem head on, Alicia, the self-proclaimed “love doctor,” immerses herself in her divorced parents Jack (Eriq La Salle) and Brenda’s (Gloria Reuben) dating affairs by setting them each up on a blind date dating app.

One Response to This Week on TV – 3/20/22-3/26/22

  1. Jenny says:

Hi all. I turned off comments and deleted them all for this post. It went downhill quick, and I didn’t like how it turned so combative. Thank you to everyone for sticking up for me, but really, in the future, if you want to reply to a comment you didn’t like, instead please just make a friendly, happy comment to support me or the site or what you’re watching that week on TV and just ignore the comment you didn’t like. It’ll keep things from turning hateful. Thank you!
