I’m really enjoying Bravo’s delightful new scripted series, Imposters, which follows both a team of con artists working on their latest job, as well as a misfit trio of past marks who have teamed up to find the woman who married each of them and took off with their money. Last week, Maddie went to a cookout at Patrick’s and almost missed an important date with her latest mark, Gary Heller. This caused some concern with the Doctor – the man running the con operation. After Max confirmed that Heller stole $2M from the Doctor, the mysterious man in charge told Max that he would be sending Lenny Cohen to take care of Maddie’s distraction. Meanwhile, Ezra, Richie, and Jules compared their stories to try to figure out where Maddie might be. They discovered that the similarities in the lies she told each of them pointed to Pottsville, Pennsylvania, and so that is their next stop in the hunt for Maddie.

This show is so much fun. I’m especially enjoying the comedic misadventures of the scorned lovers who have teamed up to find the woman who conned them and how they’re becoming con artists themselves as they try to obtain the money to fund their quest for revenge. Who is this Lenny Cohen, and does she plan to kill Patrick to keep Maddie on target? How is Maddie going to react when she hears that the Doctor has sent someone after Patrick? Who is this mysterious Doctor, what does he want, and what leverage does he have on Max, Sally, and Maddie to keep them working for him? Will our trio manage to track down Maddie, or will they find yet another conned spouse at their next location? I’m enjoying this show so much. I can’t wait to see what happens tonight!

On tonight’s episode, “Cohen. Lenny Cohen.,” Ezra, Richard, and Jules visit Maddie’s parents. Meanwhile, Sally makes a discovery with dangerous consequences, and Maddie inches closer to Patrick as Lenny Cohen (Uma Thurman) arrives to set things straight.

To see if Lenny takes care of Patrick, tune in to Bravo at 10/9c.

I’ll also be watching/recording Fresh Off the Boat, The Real O’Neals, New Girl, The Mick, The Flash, Detroiters, Switched at Birth, Stranded with a Million Dollars, Face Off, The Detour, Teachers, and Chrisley Knows Best.

Tonight, after The Blacklist midseason finale, NBC will kick off The Blacklist: Redemption. This new spin-off series finds former blacklisters teaming up as part of an elite mercenary group trying to redeem themselves by solving problems governments can’t legally get involved in themselves. Susan “Scottie” Hargrave (Famke Janssen, Hemlock Grove) recruits her son Tom Keen (Ryan Eggold) to join her at the Halcyon Corporation and take on some impossible missions. Scottie’s skilled team also includes Nez Rowan (Tawny Cypress, Unforgettable), hacker Dumont (Adrian Martinez, A Gifted Man) and lethal assassin Matias Solomon (Edi Gathegi, StartUp), who has a bad history with Tom.

This show looks like it’s going to be a lot of fun – like a weekly cinematic action/adventure in the vein of Mission: Impossible or Oceans Eleven. I really like how they’ve brought together all these past characters from The Blacklist – some have appeared on many episodes while others just one or two – and have given them this new world to play in. How will these criminals work together? Can they really trust one another? And what kind of cases will they tackle? I’m looking forward to seeing how the series explores Tom and Scottie’s relationship. He only recently learned that his mother was alive, so I’m assuming we will find out more about why and how she left him as a child while also seeing them form a new bond while working together.

On tonight’s premiere, “Leland Bray,” a routine trip to New York turns perilous when ex-operative Tom Keen is recruited by a mercenary chief to help rescue a kidnapped CIA agent.

See how the new series begins tonight on NBC at 10/9c.

I’ll also be watching/recording Grey’s Anatomy, The Big Bang Theory, The Great Indoors, Life in Pieces, Superstore, Powerless, MasterChef Junior, My Kitchen Rules, Planet Earth II, Top Chef, and Sun Records.

I’m so happy because tonight is the Major Crimes winter premiere. For the first time in its five-season run, it’s airing on Wednesdays instead of Mondays. I’ve got my fingers crossed that the audience will follow it, since this is one of my favorite shows.

When we last left off in September, the arc of the Dwight Darnell/Zyklon Brotherhood murders finally wrapped up. Dwight’s mother learned that his father (Martin Borja, who worked with the City Housing Authority) set the entire thing up, and she agreed to go in wearing a wire to talk to him. Unfortunately for Martin, she was angry enough that he’d gotten their son killed that she grabbed his gun and killed him before the police could rush in. In the midst of all that was a young boy whose mother was killed. Sanchez had become his foster father, but in the finale, they found the boy’s biological grandparents, which meant Sanchez had to give him up, right as the boy had become happy and comfortable with him. The other big story arc for a while has been Buzz working to solve the cold case of his father’s & uncle’s murders. He finally found the guy (with a little help from Rusty) and had him arrested, but it was a little hollow, since the guy had turned his life around and was a stand-up guy, married with kids of his own. And finally, Flynn! Andy had a heart attack just as the episode was wrapping up. What a way to leave off before the five-month break!

I’ve seen tonight’s episode, and it’s a lot of fun and sets up the remaining half of the season. I can’t wait to rewatch it and catch all the other new episodes after this week’s!

On tonight’s episode, “Heart Failure,” when Captain Sharon Raydor and the Major Crimes Division investigate the murder of a young woman found in the LA River, their case is not only impeded by a secretive PI working for a tech industry millionaire, but also by Deputy Chief Winnie Davis (guest star Camryn Manheim), who regards Sharon as competition for the promotion to Assistant Chief of the LAPD.

Learn Andy’s fate and meet Sharon’s competition tonight on TNT at 9/8c.

I’ll also be watching/DVRing Blindspot, The Goldbergs, Hunted, Lethal Weapon, Criminal Minds, Law & Order: SVU, Modern Family, black-ish, Bakers vs. Fakers, Chicago PD, Match Game, & Six.

Tonight, the TBS comedy, The Detour, returns for a second season. The first season was very similar to National Lampoon’s Vacation – the Parker family was on a road trip to Florida under the guise of a family vacation, but patriarch Nate was really on a mission to expose his employer’s deadly plans. Everything that could have gone wrong during the trip did go wrong…and so much more! Nate ended up missing his whistle-blowing opportunity, but it actually worked out for the better, as he was wrong and would have just ended up looking like a fool. However, Nate did learn that partner Robin had some major secret that she was hiding, and twins Delilah and Jared learned that their parents weren’t actually married.

The second season picks up a short time later. Nate is still out of a job, and the family is living in a trailer park in Syracuse. However, a new job opportunity in New York City will send the family on a whole new series of misadventures and Robin to a city that holds many secrets she’s been trying to hide. As I watched the first half of tonight’s double-episode premiere, I was quickly reminded of how much I missed this show! I was laughing out loud throughout. I just love this show’s irreverent humor that doesn’t worry about being politically correct. I am so excited to see what craziness awaits the Parkers in New York City!

On tonight’s first episode, “The City,” Nate is offered a new job in New York City, triggering the family’s move from Syracuse to the Big Apple. Then, in “The Club,” Robin’s ex lures her back to her wild side by visiting a club from their past, sparking Nate’s jealousy in the process. Meanwhile, the kids meet Nate’s new boss.

Find out how the move to NYC goes for the Parkers tonight on TBS starting at 10/9c.

I’ll also be watching/recording The Middle, American Housewife, Fresh Off the Boat, The Real O’Neals, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., The Wall, This Is Us, New Girl, The Mick, Bones, The Flash, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Switched at Birth, Face Off, Teachers, and Chrisley Knows Best.

Tonight, Bates Motel returns for the start of its fifth and final season on A&E. As the fourth season came to a close, Norman had gone full-on Psycho, blocking up the furnace vents in order to try to kill himself and his mother via carbon monoxide. Romero happened to stop by the house shortly afterwards and tried to save them, but it was too late for Norma. Norman had left a suicide note from Norma, but Romero figured out what must have really happened. He had a gun ready and was planning to kill Norman but was arrested for perjury, which delayed those plans. After the funeral, Norman dug up his mother’s body and brought it back home, but he still seemed confused and hadn’t really accepted that Norma is actually dead.

As we head into the final 10 episodes of the series, I’m curious to see what stories the writers have left to tell. We’re almost to the point in Norman’s journey that took place in the original Psycho film. Are we building to that moment? Will they re-create the events of the film in the series? Will Dylan learn about his mother’s death, and if so, how will he react and will he return home? Will Romero get his revenge on Norman, or will he ultimately become one of his latest victims? I’m looking forward to seeing how this creepy final chapter plays out.

On tonight’s premiere, “Dark Paradise,” a troubling discovery surfaces and Dylan and Emma get a surprise guest.

Check out the beginning of the end tonight on A&E at 10/9c.

And in case you need a refresher going into the final season, A&E will be airing a 30-minute “Quickie Catchup” before tonight’s premiere, at 9:30/8:30c.

I’ll also be watching/recording Quantico, Man With a Plan, Superior Donuts, Timeless, APB, Jane the Virgin, Humans, and Beyond.
