Tonight, the second season of Scream Queens comes to a close. Last week we finally learned the identities of all three of the Green Meanies who have been wreaking havoc on the hospital – Dr. Cassidy Cascade (Taylor Lautner), Wes Gardner (Oliver Hudson), and Nurse Ingrid Hoffel (Kirstie Alley). Last season’s killer, Hester Ulrich, mediated a meeting between the murderous trio as they argued who would get to kill the Chanels, and during this meeting we discovered which of the killers was responsible for each of this season’s murders. Meanwhile, the Chanels managed to pass their MCAT exams (some by cheating) in order to be able to participate in a live surgery that was to be aired on a wildly popular talk show hosted by Dr. Scarlett Lovin. However, just before the surgery, Dr. Lovin drank a poisoned coffee that was meant for Chanel and dropped dead. When Wes tried to kill a Chanel, he broke the terms of the deal among the Green Meanies, and so Dr. Cascade and Nurse Hoffel forced Wes into a boiling hydrotherapy tub. This also had the added benefit of making people think the Green Meanie was finally dead, and so they’d drop their guard. In the final moments of the episode, Dean Munsch announced that she had a rare disease that only gives her one month to live.

Will the remaining two Green Meanies complete their plan to kill the Chanels and the rest of the hospital staff? Or will Dr. Cascade’s love for Chanel #3 prevent him from going through with it? Will Dr. Holt give into his own urges to kill Chanel? Is there any hope that Dean Munch can be saved from her terminal disease? And where is Zayday being held, and will she be able to escape before she winds up dead as well? This has been a really wild, fun, and crazy season, and I’m looking forward to seeing how it all gets wrapped up tonight!

On tonight’s finale, “Drain the Swamp,” the Green Meanie triggers a final plan for revenge as Hester boldly moves to secure her future, and Brock performs risky surgery to save Dean Munsch.

See how the season ends tonight on FOX at 9/8c.

I’ll also be watching/recording Terry Crews Saves Christmas, Good Behavior, and Shooter.

Tonight, NBC is airing a special preview of the new game show The Wall, from executive producer LeBron James. The series is hosted by actor/comedian Chris Hardwick (Talking Dead, @midnight), and each week he offers pairs of contestants the chance to take home over $12 million dollars in cash and prizes! All that stands between these pairs of contestants and the life-altering prizes is a massive four-story wall. As the contestants get answers correct, green balls fall from the giant Plinko-like wall, and the dollar amounts listed in the slots the balls land in get added to the contestants’ total. However, as they get questions wrong, red balls fall into amounts that are deducted from their potential winnings. As the game progresses, things get even more exciting as the contestants are no longer able to communicate with their partners and their faith in one another is put to the test. Not only do the contestants need the skill to answer the questions correctly, but they also need a bit of luck, hoping the balls falling from atop the wall bounce into the right slots.

It seems like the show is really going to push the emotional stories of the contestants and the way their lives are going to be changed by the money they could win. I really enjoy Chris Hardwick’s podcast and other hosting duties, and I think he will add a lot of humor and fun to this show. I look forward to checking out tonight’s special preview.

On tonight’s premiere, “John and Angel,” two-person teams answer questions for cash and prizes.

Check out the fun new game show tonight on NBC at 10/9c.

I’ll also be watching/recording Man With a Plan, The Wall, and People of Earth.

Tonight, the first season of USA Network’s crime drama Eyewitness comes to a close. Last week, things got really tense – Lukas survived being shot but was in a coma. Ryan tried to poison Lukas’s IV bag in order to finally silence him, but Lukas was moved to another room before the bag was attached. Ryan was also surprised to learn that Philip, Helen’s foster son, was another witness to his murders. Meanwhile, Philip recognized Ryan at a gas station and alerted Helen (though neither was aware that he is the FBI agent she has been working with). Things went into high alert at the hospital, and Helen called Ryan to help protect the boys. However, shortly afterwards she finally had her Keyser Söze moment – in Ryan’s glove compartment she found the cologne worn by the killer, and in the backseat she saw the hat and glasses Philip said the killer was wearing. Her heart sank as she realized that she had just told the killer exactly where the boys were hiding.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this first season of Eyewitness. The series has a very unique look and feel. Each of the characters has his or her own interesting storyline, complete with character flaws and personal demons to overcome. And the central relationship between Philip and Lukas is one that is not regularly seen on TV. At the same time, we’ve also been getting this really tense cat-and-mouse game with Ryan always being two steps ahead of Helen and ready to kill her if she learns too much. I found myself yelling at the screen, hoping for Helen to realize what was really going on with Ryan. She had just been handing him all the evidence and details on the case. I was thrilled to finally see her wake up at the end of last week’s episode. But is it too late? Will she be able to stop him before he gets to the boys? Also, assuming his son survives, how will Bo react to Lukas’s relationship with Philip? And how will Tony take the news that his idol is the killer they had been looking for?

On tonight’s finale, “Mother’s Day,” Helen learns the identity of the killer and races to find Philip and Lukas, who are missing.

Catch the finale tonight on USA Network at 10/9c.

I’ll also be watching/recording Madam Secretary and The Librarians.

Last week on Hawaii Five-0, a teenager was undergoing hypnosis therapy after being diagnosed with PTSD, only for him to tell his therapist he’d witnessed a murder. At first he was worried that he’d been the one to commit it, but after investigating and getting him under hypnosis a couple more times, come to find out it was his mother who did the killing. One night, after she’d been drinking and fighting with his father, she took the boy and planned to go stay at a hotel. Unfortunately, she ran into the victim, a teenage girl, and scared about the consequences, she killed her by bashing her head in with a rock and then buried her. Her son got out of the car to find her in time to witness it. Man, that had to have been a shock to learn his mother had done that and he’d witnessed it! The kid’s father didn’t know either, poor guy. But at least that meant the kid still had his dad. Elsewhere, Danny’s sister was in Hawaii on a work conference, and Danny realized she was close – too close – to a guy she worked with. He convinced her that cheating wasn’t going to be good for her and that he was always there for her, no matter how far apart they lived. It was sweet, and I loved seeing Missy Peregrym, even though I don’t like her hair as much that short!)

Tonight’s episode should be outstanding. My heart broke for Chin when his niece, Sara, had to go live with her grandparents in Mexico after he’d really begun feeling like a father to her. He was worried that they were involved in the same dealings their son Gabriel had been, but nothing turned up with his investigation, so he had no choice but to let her go. Fortunately, that story line is being revisited tonight, and I’m hoping he (& we) get a much more positive outcome this go round!

On tonight’s episode, “Ka’ili aku (Snatchback),” Five-0 races to Mexico where Chin puts his life on the line after his niece Sara is kidnapped. Duane “Dog” Chapman returns as himself and George Takei returns as Chin’s Uncle Choi.

See if Chin and the rest of Five-0 can rescue Sara and bring her back to Hawaii where she belongs tonight on CBS at 9/8c.

I’ll also be watching/DVRing Hell’s Kitchen, Last Man Standing, & MacGyver.

I’m going to continue the holiday-themed-episode trend today with the Christmas/Hanukkah episode of The Goldbergs. The thing I love most about this show is the feeling of nostalgia I get whenever I watch it. Whether it be the most popular boy band of the decade, a hit TV show, or…like last week…a popular sports team/entertainment like the Harlem Globetrotters. I never got to go to a game myself, but we watched them on TV a couple of times, and they’re just plain fun to watch, as Murray found out when he and Adam went to see them play. Speaking of Murray… He turned 50, and Beverly threw him a not-so-surprise party, but he ended up missing it because he fell asleep and no one noticed after Erica threw all the coats from the guests on top of him on the bed. I swear, that’s going to be my husband if I do that in a few years! LOL

On tonight’s episode, “Han Ukkah Solo,” after finding out there is only going to be one Hanukkah song in the Holiday Pageant, Beverly convinces Erica to create the perfect song to bring some excitement to the holiday. Erica sees her shot to break into the music business while Barry does his best to prove he too can be a hit maker with music. Meanwhile, Adam’s childlike wonder with movies and entertainment is called into question when things he loved as a child aren’t as good as he remembers. [Note from Jenny: Just wait till he’s in his 30s and starts looking back! LOL]

See if everything works out for Erica or Barry tonight on ABC at 8/7c.

I’ll also be watching/DVRing Kids Sweets Showdown, Speechless, Brothers Take New Orleans, Cooks vs Cons, Modern Family, & black-ish.
