Tonight, the surreal comedy Man Seeking Woman returns for its third season on FXX. This highly-creative series follows the adventures of hopeless romantic Josh Greenberg (Jay Baruchel, How to Train Your Dragon, Undeclared) as he tries to find love again after being dumped by his longtime girlfriend. As the third season opens, Josh meets Lucy (Katie Findlay, How to Get Away with Murder), and while the pair immediately find love, Josh is not really a hit with Lucy’s roommates.

I had forgotten just how much fun this show was until I checked out tonight’s premiere. While this is the show’s third season, those who have never seen the series before can easily jump in and thoroughly enjoy tonight’s premiere. (Though I would highly recommend checking out the hilarious first two seasons.) The series is so cleverly written. I love the way that the writers depict these universally familiar aspects of relationships through seemingly ridiculous and surreal storylines. For example, tonight’s episode starts off as a timely parody of border security/illegal immigration as Lucy’s roommates try to keep Josh out of their apartment. Tonight’s premiere had me smiling throughout. Katie Findlay is an adorable and fun addition to the cast, and I look forward to seeing how Lucy and Josh’s relationship plays out over the upcoming episodes.

On tonight’s premiere, “Futon,” Josh and Lucy fall in love but struggle with the living arrangements.

See if Lucy and Josh can make things work tonight on FXX at 10:30/9:30c.

I’ll also be watching/recording The Goldbergs, Speechless, Modern Family, black-ish, Match Game, Criminal Minds, Blindspot, Lethal Weapon, Frequency, and Incorporated.

It’s here, it’s here! Tonight is the season premiere of Bones. It’s been SIX long months since the previous season finale. The FBI & Squints were once again on the trail of the Puppeteer, the serial killer who lived with his victims’ bodies before disposing of them. It seemed like Bones was a target, and sure enough, in the end, she was kidnapped by none other than…ZACK! So is Zack the killer? How did he get out of the institution he’s been in for years? Where does he have Bones, and why? We’ll get those answers tonight.

This is the final season of the show, so there’s bound to be a lot of surprises. Hopefully we’ll see some great guest stars and get some great wrap-ups for our favorite characters. I’ve seen the first few episodes, and I know it’s off to a great start!

On tonight’s episode, “The Hope in the Horror,” Booth and the lab team desperately search for Brennan after she’s kidnapped by her former assistant, Zack Addy.

See if they can find Bones tonight on FOX at 9:01/8:01c.

I’ll also be watching/DVRing Chopped Junior, NCIS, American Housewife, Bull, Chicago Fire, MasterChef Canada, Chicago PD, Chopped, & NCIS: New Orleans.

Tonight, The Celebrity Apprentice returns to NBC, but this time it’s got a new name and a new host. The Donald has been fired, and the contestants on The New Celebrity Apprentice have a brand new boss to impress: Arnold Schwarzenegger! This year’s crop of celebrities includes TV hosts/entertainers Brooke Burke-Charvet, Carson Kressley, Matt Iseman, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, & Porsha Williams, musicians Carnie Wilson, Boy George, & Vince Neil, actors/comedians Carrie Keagan, Jon Lovitz, & Kyle Richards, and sports personalities Chael Sonnen, Eric Dickerson, Laila Ali, Lisa Leslie, & Ricky Williams.

I had quit watching this series many years ago, and even though I don’t really know who half these “celebrities” are, I’m really interested to see how much the series has changed with the move to LA and the addition of Arnold Schwarzenegger as the host. And Arnold also has some new advisers: Tyra Banks and his nephew Patrick Knapp Schwarzenegger. Will Arnold use “You’re Fired,” or will he have his own fun new catch phrase? I really hope it involves something like “Hasta La Vista, You Won’t Be Back!”

On tonight’s 2-hour premiere, “In Here You Call Me Governor; Your Smile’s Gonna Knock Them Out,” sixteen celebrities create a 10-minute beauty experience. Later, they must produce an original song and video for Trident.

Meet the new boss tonight on NBC at 8/7c.

I’ll also be watching/recording Man With a Plan, The Wall, MasterChef Celebrity Showdown, and Beyond.

Tonight, FOX is airing the premiere of new comedy The Mick at a special night and time before the series moves to its regular timeslot this Tuesday. Crass, foul-mouthed hustler Mickey (Kaitlin Olson, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia) is down on her luck and looking for her next score. So she heads to Greenwich, CT, to surprise her sister and her billionaire husband, hoping to get them to buy into her latest investment scheme. However, the annual Labor Day bash is suddenly raided by the Feds, who are looking to arrest the couple for fraud. After her sister takes off, Mickey is left in charge of her spoiled niece and nephews. Eighteen-year-old activist Sabrina (Sofia Black D’Elia, The Messengers) thinks she knows everything and quickly proves to be a worthy adversary to Mickey, always hatching some sort of plan; thirteen-year-old Chip (Thomas Barbusca, The New Normal) has a sense of entitlement and is constantly threatening to sue when things don’t go his way; and seven-year-old Ben (Jack Stanton) just misses his parents. At first Mickey is thrilled to live the lavish life in a mansion but then realizes she needs to be a parent to these children. The cast also includes Carla Jimenez (Last Man Standing) as Alba the maid and Susan Park (Vice Principals) as Liz, the nosy next-door neighbor who’s constantly judging Micky with her passive-aggressive comments.

Tonight’s premiere basically just sets up the premise and the relationships between the characters, but I really enjoyed it, and it made me want to see more. I really enjoyed the face-offs between Sabrina and Mickey – it looks like that’s going to be a really fun part of the show. Both of these characters constantly think they have the upper hand on the other, only to realize they’ve been duped. This looks like it’s going to be a fun series, and I look forward to checking out more later this week!

On tonight’s episode, “Pilot,” an irresponsible, hard-partying opportunist signs on to raise her sister’s three spoiled children in an affluent Connecticut neighborhood when their parents bolt the country to escape federal charges.

Move in to the new neighborhood tonight on FOX at 8/7c.

I’ll also be watching/recording To Tell the Truth, Ransom, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Sherlock, Worst Cooks in America, Beyond, and The Librarians.

Last week on Hawaii Five-0, a teenager was undergoing hypnosis therapy after being diagnosed with PTSD, only for him to tell his therapist he’d witnessed a murder. At first he was worried that he’d been the one to commit it, but after investigating and getting him under hypnosis a couple more times, come to find out it was his mother who did the killing. One night, after she’d been drinking and fighting with his father, she took the boy and planned to go stay at a hotel. Unfortunately, she ran into the victim, a teenage girl, and scared about the consequences, she killed her by bashing her head in with a rock and then buried her. Her son got out of the car to find her in time to witness it. Man, that had to have been a shock to learn his mother had done that and he’d witnessed it! The kid’s father didn’t know either, poor guy. But at least that meant the kid still had his dad. Elsewhere, Danny’s sister was in Hawaii on a work conference, and Danny realized she was close – too close – to a guy she worked with. He convinced her that cheating wasn’t going to be good for her and that he was always there for her, no matter how far apart they lived. It was sweet, and I loved seeing Missy Peregrym, even though I don’t like her hair as much that short!)

Tonight’s episode should be outstanding. My heart broke for Chin when his niece, Sara, had to go live with her grandparents in Mexico after he’d really begun feeling like a father to her. He was worried that they were involved in the same dealings their son Gabriel had been, but nothing turned up with his investigation, so he had no choice but to let her go. Fortunately, that story line is being revisited tonight, and I’m hoping he (& we) get a much more positive outcome this go round!

On tonight’s episode, “Ka’ili aku (Snatchback),” Five-0 races to Mexico where Chin puts his life on the line after his niece Sara is kidnapped. Duane “Dog” Chapman returns as himself and George Takei returns as Chin’s Uncle Choi.

See if Chin and the rest of Five-0 can rescue Sara and bring her back to Hawaii where she belongs tonight on CBS at 9/8c.

I’ll also be watching/DVRing Hell’s Kitchen, Last Man Standing, & MacGyver.
