I’m so excited for tonight’s third/final season premiere of Review with Forrest MacNeil. In the first season, critic Forrest MacNeil decided to review life experiences, but his mistake was leaving the choice of those experiences up to his viewers. Forrest takes his job very seriously and commits himself fully to every review. While some of the suggestions were harmless, like eating pancakes, things quickly escalated when viewers started suggesting things like having an affair and killing someone. By the end of the first season, Forrest’s wife had left him and his life had pretty much been destroyed. It seemed like there was nowhere else to go in the second season, but Forrest returned to his job and tried to create some additional guidelines to prevent horrible things from happening again. However, things still escalated quickly, and Forrest found himself joining a cult and caused both of his father’s homes to burn to the ground. Forrest started to suspect that his producer Grant had been the person who destroyed his life, giving him these insane experiences to review. At the end of the second season, he confronted Grant, and the two of them wound up going over the edge of a tall bridge into the rough water below, presumably dead.

This is one of my all-time favorite series. I love how completely Forrest commits to his job and always maintains his integrity, even if the situation that results is dangerous and detrimental to his own well-being. I constantly find myself both laughing out loud and horrified at the same time while watching this show. Tonight the series is back to wrap up Forrest’s story with a shortened third season. How did Forrest survive the fall, and did Grant survive as well? What is next for Forrest – is it too late for him to repair and rebuild his life? Was Grant really the mastermind behind the destruction of Forrest’s life, or maybe A.J. was sick of being pushed into the background by her co-star? I can’t wait to see how this final chapter plays out!

If you want to relive Forrest’s past adventures or need to catch up before the final season, Comedy Central has made all 19 episodes of the first 2 seasons available at ComedyCentral.com.

On tonight’s premiere, “Locorito, Pet Euthanasia, Dream,” Forrest reviews a new product at a Mexican restaurant; experiences putting a pet to sleep; and learns what it’s like to fulfill a dream.

See how Forrest made it out of the river alive tonight on Comedy Central at 10/9c.

I’ll also be watching/recording Snatch, Grey’s Anatomy, Superstore, The Blacklist: Redemption, MasterChef: Junior, Kicking & Screaming, and Colony.

Tonight, after seven crazy seasons, the Comedy Central series Workaholics comes to an end. Over the years, co-workers/roommates Blake, Adam, and Anders have found just about every excuse to avoid actually doing their telemarketing jobs and just spend their time partying or getting up to wacky schemes. They often show up to work drunk or high or engage in totally inappropriate workplace behavior. It’s a wonder how they haven’t been fired. But as much as they claim to hate their jobs, their coworkers – including always-angry boss Alice – have become a dysfunctional family. Last week, motivational speaker Bianca threatened to disrupt the annual workplace Darwin Awards ceremony, and the guys made it their mission to get rid of her. As she was leaving, Bianca offered Alice a job at her company. Even though the job was probably a lot better, Alice ultimately couldn’t bring herself to abandon her work family. It’s like they’re all trapped there for life.

I’m looking forward to seeing how this series comes to an end. The creators have known about this end date for a long time, so I really hope there is some kind of definitive end to the show. Will the guys finally get a little maturity and act like adults? Will the guys go out in a blaze of glory, Thelma & Louise style? Or will it just be not-no-much-business as usual, with the guys up to yet another off-the-wall scheme? Pretty much anything could happen!

On tonight’s series finale, “Party Gawds,” the guys become party gods after an energy drink company starts paying them to throw ragers.

To see how the series ends, tune in to Comedy Central at 10/9c.

I’ll also be watching/recording The Goldbergs, Speechless, Modern Family, black-ish, Designated Survivor, Survivor, Criminal Minds, Arrow, The 100, Jeff & Some Aliens, Legion, The Magicians, The Expanse, and Major Crimes.

It has been a season for emotional rollercoasters all over the television front this year, but the biggest roller coaster has been brought to us by This Is Us. What an incredible show this has turned out to be, although I knew it would be starting from the very first episode. The writers have gone above and beyond to draw the viewing audience in to the world of this family, leaving us all better for it. My weekly cry fests have been split between this show and Code Black, both shows that play on your heartstrings consistently.

This season has shown us the evolution of a couple, Jack and Rebecca, from the beginning of their marriage and as it evolved when they became parents of triplets. I have been cheering this couple on from the very start, but unfortunately we were told that Jack died along the way. Last episode, Kate finally told Toby that the reason she doesn’t discuss her father’s death is because it was her fault. Not sure where that’s going, but I am sure that wherever it ventures, it will leave us all in tears with more questions. Also on the last episode, Randall and his adorable family bid farewell to William, Randall’s biological father. It was a fun-eral… Instead of the usual depressing stuff at funerals, William wanted the family to celebrate his life. It was a moving and heartwarming episode.

Tonight’s season finale is bittersweet because, while I’m excited to get another new episode, I am also upset that there won’t be any new episodes after this one until next season.

On tonight’s episode, “Moonshadow,” Jack heads to Cleveland to make things right with Rebecca on the night of her first big gig with the band. Randall, Kate, and Kevin make big decisions about their futures.

Find out the big decisions tonight on NBC at 9/8c.

I’ll also be watching The Voice, NCIS, NCIS: New Orleans, Bones, Chopped, and Trial & Error.

I loved the previous new episode of Scorpion. When an online friend of Happy’s disappeared in the middle of a conversation and never returned, Happy hacked in and found where the address the IP was coming from. She went to the nearby town and found a house surrounded by police and fire trucks. Turned out the girl had to live in a “bubble” because she was so immune compromised that she couldn’t be exposed to anything. Unfortunately, a bad storm knocked a tree and power lines into their roof, which was threatening her power supply for the oxygen and air purifier, and debris was about to crash through the hole in the roof and puncture the “bubble” (enclosure made of plastic sheeting-type stuff) she lived in. Of course, Scorpion made the trip and figured out a way to save her, but it was crazy – involved her first in a fireman’s Hazmat suit, then in a vat of fresh honey when she had an allergic reaction in the suit, finally coming out into an industrial freezer right after they burned off all the germs using cans of Sterno. Once again, you had to go with suspension of disbelief, but that’s a norm for this show. LOL

On other notes… Cabe broke up with Allie after she posted a damning video of Sly on the internet, of him wiping his palm on his sweater after shaking a military veteran’s hand. He was doing it with everyone, not singling out the veteran, but when Allie’s boss told her to do that, she did it. Cabe understood that it was her job and she needed her job, but he couldn’t be with someone who attacked one of his “family.” Sylvester ended up losing the election, but he saved the comic book store, as they found out from one of the veterans that the building had been around long enough to qualify as historic and therefore couldn’t be torn down. And finally (FINALLY!), Paige and what’s-his-face (LMAO) broke up when…okay, okay…Tim extended his time overseas because it wasn’t working out for them long distance. Yay!

On tonight’s episode, “Monkey See, Monkey Poo,” to stop a dangerous virus from spreading, Team Scorpion must locate a rare endangered monkey in the Amazon that has the antibody for the cure. Also, Toby and Happy see a counselor to prepare for matrimony. Guest star Penn Jillette returns.

See if the team can find the monkey in time tonight on CBS at 10/9c.

I’ll also be watching/DVRing 24: Legacy, Kevin Can Wait, Man With a Plan, Superior Donuts, APB, & 2 Broke Girls.

What a season it has been on NCIS: Los Angeles overall, and I’m glad we’ve finally got some closure on the mole story. Last episode Callen covered for his father when he found out his father had been following his sister and kidnapped the man she was seeing. He thought the guy was up to no good, but it turned out he was an informant for the police. It was nice to see Callen with his sister because it lets us see a different side of him. Also on last episode, Kensi was given the all-clear to return to regular duty, and she was very happy about that. It’s going to be great to have Deeks and Kensi back together again, which always leads to my favorite scenes because of their witty banter.

On tonight’s episode, “Queen Pin,” Sam assumes a former alias in a risky undercover operation to take down an elusive drug lord. Also, Hetty interrupts Callen and Anna’s romantic night to assign them a prisoner escort mission.

Find out what special assignment Hetty sends these lovebirds on tonight on CBS at 8/7c.

I’ll also be watching Chicago Justice, Time After Time, Spring Baking Championship, Guy’s Grocery Games, and American Crime.
