Saturday on TV – 8/8/20

Saturday is the season premiere of License to Kill on Oxygen at 7/6c.

Tonight is also the 3-hour “Monster Jam Breaking World Records” special for Diesel Brothers on Discovery Channel at 8/7c. Chris Jacobs and the Diesel Brothers host as Monster Jam drivers attempt the most extreme world records, including an outrageous distance jump by Megalodon; welcome to Shark Week, as the biggest event on land kicks off the biggest event in the sea.

Tonight is also the TV movie Love on Harbor Island on Hallmark Channel at 9/8c. When Seattle interior designer Lily Summers (Morgan Kohan, When Hope Calls) returns to her hometown to help her Aunt Maggie (Brenda Matthews, The Last Bridesmaid) run her bed and breakfast by the marina, she meets Marcus (Marcus Rosner), the handsome seaplane pilot whose life’s work delivering rescue dogs helps Lily discover that home really is where the heart is.

Tonight is the series premiere of Being Reuben on The CW at 9/8c, followed by a 2nd new episode at 9:30/8:30c. Fourteen year-old Reuben de Maid, a talented teen juggling social media stardom with real-life squabbling siblings, became an internet sensation after shooting to fame following an appearance on Little Big Shots. The Welsh teenager is a singer, influencer and make-up expert, and now has a high-profile career. In this fun, inspiring and warm-hearted new docuseries, we follow Reuben as he grows into his glamorous new life, while still grounded in his reality at home in Wales with siblings Coco and Sonny, and his mother Vicky. Being Reuben takes a passionate look at how a loving family has given their special teen the strength to stand out.
