Jackson Oz — a young renegade American zoologist, played by James Wolk — begins to see a link between the animal attacks and his late father’s dubious theories about looming threats to humans. Kristen Connolly stars as L.A. news reporter Jamie Campbell, while Billy Burke plays Mitch Morgan, off-kilter veterinarian. Finally, Nora Arnezeder stars as Chloe Tousignant, a French investigator who meets Oz in Africa. As the assaults occurring worldwide become more cunning, coordinated, and ferocious, Oz and the others are thrust into the race to unlock the mystery of the pandemic before there’s no place left for people to hide.
